Point. Armor should be modular so we can mix and match and take just what we want. For example, I would love just a medieval breast/backplate with a pair of shoulder pieces. Options for full sets should be available but accessorize is everything.
Further there should be options for every piece. The goal is for no two sets to look the same.

I don't mind if my Pants look the same, but I do want to wear a different Shirt. Especially if we're on the Enterprise!

IIRC Lothic ships out to sea at times and have very limited internet connectivity, so most likely in that situation right now.
As for the thread, not sure it's needed but I don't think it would hurt.
