"Could always just remain a ghost, I guess," Connor says as he settles in his chair properly, "some that I've met say that it's not so bad once you have a few folks that you can talk to. Maybe it'll be the same for you, could always give that a try."
Alicia furrows her brow briefly, and remains calm. "I am not versed in such matters. Is this an immediate danger?"
Rose nods and adds.
"Connor's right, simply do what you wish, sans TOO much mischief."
Natalia states gingerly.
"They are as much as a threat as I am, and while I have no business judging them...he didn't even try to hide his scent, he's bragging."
"Never argue with stupid people; they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."
"I lay off doing anything to miss tightwad for now." She made herself comfy sitting in the air like she was on a recliner. "For now I think about it. Maybe being able to talk to someone that's not a medium would be nice."
Personal rules of good roleplay
1.) Nothing goes as planned.
2.) If it goes as planned it's not good RP
"Now, that I think we could do. I'm using a spell to perceive you. If we bound it into an item, or if I could teach it to you to cast on the person you wanted to talk to..." Toni trailed off while listening for Mist's reaction.
Foradain, Mage of Phoenix Rising.
Millennium City RefugeeForadain's Character Conclave
Portia blushed, her cheeks turning a darker shade of blue, as Natalia made it sound like she'd solved some big mystery. "I don't know about hunting werewolves. All I said was that I smelled wet dog..."
Putting yourself in another persons shoes emotionally is something that everyone has to experience eventually. It's part of learning to be a human being. Roleplayers do it for fun.
Connor shakes his head. "She'd still be incorporeal, unless being physical isn't really what she's aiming for anyway," Connor says, scratching his head, "I suppose we could always just...Shove you into someone else, but I'm not sure how much you'd like that, even if they're not, ah...'Using' their body at the moment anyway."
Alicia remains calm, yet quietly scans the crowd anyway. "Do you expect that they'll try to do something they shouldn't?" She asks quietly.
Rose nods to Connor's suggestion, adding.
"Mortician's aren't miracle workers." She smirks.
Natalia sighs to Portia before adding.
"Maybe so, but what else would it be? And unfortunately I know their scent." She then turns to Alicia, replying thoughtfully. "No, I don't believe so, as brash as they tend to be they are not that stupid, not with the security measures in place on campus."
Alicia furrows her brow a bit, and nods slowly. "Then if he is flaunting, and there is no danger, then perhaps it is something that we should not worry about, at least for now."
Natalia nods, adding immediately.
"I'm keeping an eye on him regardless, but yes, I suppose so."
"If you have done anything that they may interpret as a challenge, there is a chance they may be making you aware of their presence in preparation for an altercation after your classes," Alicia says calmly, her furrowed brow subsiding, "I would suggest that you do not entertain them if that is the case."
Natalia blinks, taking a moment to ponder that before nodding slowly.
"They are territorial creatures Alicia, stepping foot in THEIR school as Vampire would be a challenge in itself, but rest assured, I won't be giving them the satisfaction of a fight, trust me."
"Well, as Natalia witnessed, I might have... well... humiliated and completely soaked them in the middle of the hallway during class change. So they might feel that was a challenge or they might just want old-fashioned revenge." Portia muttered self-consciously, somewhat regretting her rash actions now. Her mother had told her not to make any kind of spectacle, but did she listen... nope!
Andy leaned in between Rose and Toni, speaking quietly. "Thank you for cooperating, both of you. I know Madison can be very difficult to get along with, but she really opened up to me. Either that or she's one of the best bullshitters I've ever met. And that's saying a lot since I know Jacques.
Overhearing Natalia she drifted over "This is my Haunting grounds. If the pack of mutts try anything I got your back."
"Your school expects you to show proper responsibility, if how your computer handled the situation in the lunch room is any indication," Alicia says after taking a moment to scan for the source of the new voice, which she failed to see, "turning this into a situation where it is us versus them may not look very responsible in the eyes of superiors."
Rose smiles back to Andy.
"I don't want her as a enemy if I can help it, what's her story?" She inquires.
Natalia shakes her head to Portia.
"It is just as well my fault, I snarled at them, showing my...true face." She states slowly. "And Alicia, while you are right, if they intend to cause harm...who says they won't wait till after school?"
She made her face appear floating there in front of Natalia, Alicia, and Portia. "Well I'm not technically a student here."
Dennis finally came from outside the halls, and gathered where everyone else was at the moment, only to walk over a lean over to the secluded portion of wall, away from everyone else ,as he tried to gather his thoughts wondering if Marcus would ever come back to the school , especially after Dennis punched him like that.
Note: Jorortis is still a character of mine and is still going to be in the super group, not Demirus, at least not yet...
"I don't feel that it would be prudent to tell people what she shared with me. All I will say is that she has a rough home life." Andy hesitatingly answered.
"Understood. Her story, she decides when and who to tell." Toni and Setzer both nodded sagely.
Rose nods, still petting Setzer as she replies.
"Fair enough, she can tell us if she wants or not at all."
Dennis got up from his placed at the wall and walked past the other students to go into the bathroom, his shoulder bumped into one of the bullies that traveled in the "Pack.", It was the same one who was reduced to a urinated mess earlier that day, who gave him a mean look after he had walked away.
Alicia shrugs. "If that's what they choose to do, then plan accordingly. I still would not suggest attempting to fight them if that's what they clearly want."
Natalia nods in reply, her face serious as she does so.
"I was trained to fight their kind among other things, but there could be more than one, or all sorts of abilities, I'm not going to engage them unless they threaten the lives of others or leave me NO other plausible alternative."
Alicia nods slowly. "Be sure to hold yourself to that, then," she says, still scanning the crowd as if looking for who it could be while the auditorium waits for the hero visit to start.
Shepherd waited in the Class room as he began forming constructs with the spiritual energy around him. This would be an interesting experience, teaching the kids how to use their abilities and how to control them.. He stood there watching a little bird he created flew around the class room.. "This would be fun" he thought to himself as he waited and watched a the students come in.
"In the end there can be only one" The Highlander
BR-202, the android that taught Shop, was walking down the hall towards the Auditorium when an energy construct flew out of an open door and down the hallway.
His curiousity piqued, BR-202 stepped into the classroom to find Shepherd waiting. He accessed the school's database and was immediately able to identify the man as Shepherd and that his reason for being on school grounds was to give a presentation. But the database indicated that he was in the wrong room.
"Pardon this one, Mr. Shepherd, but it is this one's understanding that your area of presentation is to be the Auditorium, not Classroom E-15. If you would please, this one will lead you to the Auditorium."
Shepherd smiled at the android. He was a bit nervous since these were older kids. the younger ones were easy but the teens were different. He followed the adroid to the Auditorium.
BR-202 led Shepherd to where Principal Ellis was waiting just outside of the Auditorium. "Principal Ellis, this one located the hero Shepherd in Classroom E-15. If you will please acknowledge that you will direct him from this point forward, this one will locate this one's seat in the Auditorium."
Shepherd shook Principle Ellis' hand
The austere but understanding woman shook Shepard's hand curtly, before addressing him as she walks him into the backstage area of the Auditorium.
"Your nervous, don't let it show. Simply tell these teens honestly what you do, how you make impactful choices whether on patrol or at base, and be prepared for questions. I wouldn't have asked you to present here had I not beloved you could offer a valuable lesson, so do it."
Shepherd calmed down as he thought about the career he had as a wrestler in his home reality.
Liberty Girl arrived soon after Shepherd did. She landed in the student parking lot, dusted herself off, and walked into the Auditorium. A few straggling students ogled her as she strode by, but she appeared to be ignoring them. Just before she walked around a corner, she glanced over her shoulder. "Eyes front, gentlemen!"
The two male students nearly gave themselves whiplash as their heads jerked back to look towards the Auditorium entrance. Liberty Girl smirked and headed on around the corner to where the backstage area was. She walked through the door and immediately spotted Shepherd standing next to Principal Ellis. She headed over to them.
"Good afternoon, Principal Ellis. I'm Liberty Girl." she said, extending her hand to the older woman.
Dennis walked into the office and dropped down, in one of the reinforced chairs that was there.
"Can I go back into the little room where you put me when I get reckless, I am a little stressed out right about now."
Depending on the answer the principal gave, he would walk out and go straight into the room to be alone ,or if the principal refused he would make an abrupt u turn and go back into the auditorium.
Shepherd walked out into the stage as he saw the auditorium full of teens. The Ghostwalker smiled.
"For those that don't know me I am Shepherd. I am a living immortal spirit that walks in between the realms of the living and the dead hence my moniker The Ghostwalker. My abilities revolve around spiritual energy. I am able to manipulate it and create constructs. I can also go invisible and turn ethereal like a ghost an have the ability to move objects telekenetically much like a spirit. I can see spirits and auras unlike normal humans."
Shepherd noticed he had their attention so he decided after he was done with his explanation he would show hem a demonstration of his abilities..
"As mentioned I am a living spirit and though I am made of flesh like normal mortals that is where the similarities end. I have no need for organs. I don't need to breath, sleep, or eat eventhough I do eat and sleep just for the pleasure of it. Other than that I function like the rest of you. Now that I have given an explanation of what I am, it's time for a demonstration.
As Shepherd stood there he gathers some spiritual energy and made a clone of the principle to show what he was capable of.
"Making complex constructs such as this clone usually takes alot of concentration and spiritual energy to create it in it's solid form for long periods of time also requires alot of concentration."
Shepherd then levitated the clone to show more of his abilities.
As Shepherd was talking she made faces when he said he can see spirits. "Take it off! I want a show!" Her ghostly laugh echoed.
"Oh dear god with you just shut the hell up? I am trying to watch the hero in action , so please ,zip it lock it and put it in your pocket!" A voice would say to the ghost girl.
It was Steven Berk whose only power was telepathy and slightly above average speed.
Principal Ellis smiles at Liberty Girl's arrival, turning to her to whisper as Shepard begins his demonstration.
"You'll be up after Shepard, Liberty Girl."
Rose grins as wide a Cheshire Cat seeing Shepard display his abilities, not paying Misty any mind, a difficult effort in itself as she awaited his next few words or demonstrations, not asking a question just yet.
Natalia keeps her face impassive as she eyes Shepard, simply giving him a look of respect to a fellow hunter of the night, but blinks as those with supernatural senses would hear the gutteral growls of two werewolves, at a low frequency.
Shepherd heard the werewolf as he cut the presentation short.
"Looks like you guys may just get to see me in action."
He then looked at Misty
"Misty, check the parameter."
Nobody but those that could see ghosts knew who he was talking too.
Setzer's ears twitched as he located the source of the growls. He hopped into the shadows under the seats, and almost emerged in one near the werewolves. If their lycanthropy permitted them to understand the speech of animals, they would hear, "This place is guarded." If not, all they would hear is a low "Rrrraaaooow."
Toni looked at Rose, and back at Misty's (to him) indistinct form...
"Um... who said you can give me orders? Besides as the pale girl near the amphibian girl here. Overheard them talking about smelling wet dog." She leans back and acts like she started to clean her nails.
The teenage werewolf Setzer meowed under simply growled in reply, indeed understanding his speech, insulting as well.
"Then so be it, servant to fairie." With that, the werewolves suddenly launch forward, one towards Shepard in a lunge for his neck, and another barreling into a fearsome Natalia. Having intercepted the creature from his intended target of a now screaming row of students opposite them with startling speed. Principal Ellis instantly erects a overarching forcefied of cobalt energy over the students, effectively seperating the non powered population away from Shepard, Liberty Girl, and Rose's group.
Dissapointed about revealing her nature so plainly but not about to let innocents die, Natalia rushes a werewolf bound for a group of quickly shielded students with startling speed, chokeslamming it as it reaches for her, swiftly engaging in a dizzying fight down the aisle towards Shepard's position.
Rose blinks at the actions of the werewolves before her, but shakes off her hesitation to move as she suddenly shoves Toni and Portia to the ground as a pair of fireballs engulf their seats. Standing before them is a giggling Talia Cochran, who's scarlet glowing cat irises confirm her heritage as a insidious Lamia. She coos mockingly, as a razor sharp tail wraps and unwraps itself about her right leg.
"Kyle did say we could have some fun before the main event. What do you say bitchcraft-" She isn't able to finish her sentence, as an ethereal wave of green energy from a fuming Rose crumples into her and sends her to the floor on her knees. Spitting out a glob of blood, Talia suddenly snaps her fingers as Carter Stone, JDH's star linebacker begins to run towards Alicia, his skin solid granite. Another packmember, Lance Garret, a stoner, begins to cackle as he launches three mildly powered thunderbolts at Portia.
Finally, Tyler Hawthorne, a British exchange student and the quietest member of their group, reluctantly unveils a pocket spellbook and sighs to Toni, sweeping his shaggy black hair back as he launches a lance of shadow at the Squire of Summer, appearing appogetic as he quietly rasps.
"I'm sorry, I can't disobey orders."
Shepherd was disappointed in Misty. they fought side by side in the past and didn't think she would have reacted like that. He then looked back at her as he launched a crossblade at the werewolf that charged him.
"If you can't help go haunt somewhere else. Figured since we fought side by side once you'd at least to do something that was in the best interest of the students here. Guess I was wrong."
Shepherd summoned the twins as his dual pistols appeared in his hands.
Dennis was rushing through the hall way ,before blowing through the double doors and looking around at all the commotion, only to notice Carter rushing at Alicia, as he lunged forward himself, meeting him in the middle before he could get to her, the impact of both of there large armored bodies colliding was a defining "BOOM!" that put a large crater into the ground.
"Well now that the dogs are attacking. That's different. If they still behaved themselves they had every right to be here as you do. Being Jerks one thing attacking people another." She then turns and ramps up her ghostly nature and focuses on one of the weaker of the pack members trying to take possession.
Howling as Misty attempts to take hold, his hesitation offers Natalia enough time to recover from quickly healing gashes on her leg and rush it, bringing it down to the ground dazed by a rising knee up the face and a prompt judo like flip to the ground, still concious.
Carter takes the tackle easily enough, proceeding to attempt to force Dennis's arms into a lock as he moves to headbutt the large boy.
Shepard's werewolf yelps in pain as the blade buries itself in his thigh, but carries through with his leap at the hero, as Principal Ellis shouts seeing his weapons.
"Don't kill them, they're still students!"
The piece of rainbow intercepted Tyler's shadow bolt, and Toni replied, "Sure you can. Have you really tried?" He followed up with a swarm of animated Dalmatian puppies, grabbing at Tyler's pants' legs, sleeves, and any other loose bit of clothing they could get their teeth into, except for one that went for the spell book.
Meanwhile, the auditorium rang with echoes of a howl as Sings Loudly launched himself onto a werewolf's back, grabbing at the ears with his foreclaws to have an anchor for raking its back with his rear claws.
The Warlock shakes his head in clear despair as he replies whilst batting away the dogs and launching a concussive wave of Ebon energy towards Toni.
"No mate, I literally can't!" He shouts amidst the din of combat.
Elsewhere, The werewolf Setzer attacked having been the one lunging towards Shepard howls in agony as he flails his claws at his back before attempting to smash the familiar by backing into a wall, exposed for attack.
Talia is also not having much luck in her attack, as every move she makes is interrupted by a telekinetically launched chair courtesy of Rose. Growling after three strike her, she begins to engage the cajun witch with a whip of magma, not expecting Rose to counter by pulling her forward suddenly through a spectral rift; and greeting her upon her reentry with a elbow rush to the face.
Rolling to recover, Talia outright screams in rage before launching volley after volley of fireballs at Rose, who dances around the attacks with a combination of decisive intangibility and strategic rift erection, not paying the Lamia's words any heed.
"I'll flay you alive, witch bitch!" The said sorceress simply smirks.
"You forgot to add currently voodoo mambo to the title ma ami, but clearly you're a bit to slow to understand."
Dennis's head was slammed into by the cranium of the other, his bone plating was, still protecting him, but his head was ringing a bit and he worked his way out of the arm lock, his Sambo and wrestling drills coming into play as he dropped to a knee, only to duck under what ever strike Carter threw next , rotating behind him and grasped onto his waist violently lifting and dropping carter to the ground.
Shepherd heard Principle Ellis as he then encased the werewolf in a forcefield. After he encased the one werewolf in the forcefield he began encasing the rest of the pack.
Misty looked to the Warlock "Maybe you can't, but I bet I could make you." Then she dove headlong into him trying to take control it would be harder the fellow didn't seem to be the simple type.
The fight broke out in a flash, or in Alicia's case, a boom as two students collided barely a foot away from her. Dennis and Carter tussled, and Alicia's surprise caused a wave of energy to flatten most of the chairs near her. She regained her composure as Carter was slammed into the ground, the glow in her eyes intensifying as she hefts the linebacker up with little effort.
"My protection isn't necessary. I can take care of myself, you needn't throw yourself around for my sake," she says calmly to Dennis, before flinging Carter at a surprisingly high speed towards the bubble created by the presenter. He could probably take the impact.
While the fight breaks out, Connor calmly sinks into the floor, getting out of the way of the panicking students in his 'faded' form. He makes his way over to the nearest doorways, flinging them open and leading the panicking normals (and those that lack durability) out of the auditorium. "They could have picked a better time for this!" He yells to no one in particular.
Tyler thrashes as he is barely able to expel Misty from his body, the effort driving him to his knees and shuddering, effectively removing him from the fight as he mutters one phrase over and over again in between consciousness.
Carter and the werewolves are easily subdued thanks to Alicia and Deniis's teamwork, begrugingly resigning themselves to containment save for the electro kinetic Lance, who thrashes in his bubble towards Portia, yelling.
"I'll fry you like calamari, fish bitch!"
Finally, Talia is subdued by a calm and half concentrating Rose, who is able to defeat the Lamia by allowing a strike from her tail to fade through her intangible form, sliding to the side and sweep kicking the girl into a spectral rift. Sending the reentry point to just above the forming stasis field, the demon girl is quickly detained. Taking a moment to catch a breath, Rose remarks cooly as ESSI wraps her own field around the Pack, maneuvering them to the power suspension room.
"Was that almost...too easy?"
Shepherd smiled at Principle Ellis.
"Well that was fun, I hope you'll have me back for another presentation."
"Yup. But only if nothing else happens" Tony had read too many stories where that phrase preceded disaster...
Dennis looked over at Alicia and told her."Oh , I wasn't trying to save you I seen what you can do, I just really needed to hit something, and he was the first thing I noticed."
It wasn't exactly the answer that Alicia was expecting, but as long as he wasn't hurt, that was fine. She offered a simple nod, and looked over to where the others were mopping up the rest of the situation. "As long as you are clear not to endanger yourself on my behalf. However, that is not to say that I do not appreciate the gesture, even if it was unintended."
Shepherd came not expecting a fight which is what he got. His legend had grown as much here as in his own reality that made him a threat to every supernatural creature in this reality. They began to realize exactly how dangerous he really was. Dangerous enough to try and take him out in public rather than in the shadows where these secret wars were fought. He looked At principle Ellis.
"These creatures that you call your students have broken a sacred treaty and will most likely be tried for it. The war between supernatural creatures of the night and those like myself is one that has been kept in the shadows for obvious reasons."
Principal Ellis promptly responds curtly, as students begin to filter out of the Auditorium.
"Regardless of those laws they are still MY students, and did you consider the fact that your presence here probably incited them? I imagine you've killed enough of their breathren to warrant a kill on sight order?"
At Principal Ellis's words, Natalia approaches the stage swiftly, adding to in reply to Shepard's statement.
"I believe it was my fault as well, I have killed many of their ilk and our kind has been at war for centuries, I breached their territory." Principal Ellis swiftly counters.
"Be that as it may, I'm concerned about the here and now, the safety of all my students whatever their impulses incur." With that, the no nonsense woman launches herself off the stage by erecting a disc of energy underneath her, floating towards Rose and co and instantly asking.
"Are you alright and is anyone seriously injured?"
Rose responds amidst briefly squeezing Toni's hand as a sign she's alright, stating.
"Fine Principal Ellis, and in that case we should keep an eye on them."
As the commotion ends, and the students wait uneasily out in the hall for more information on what exactly just happened, Connor jogs over Shepherd's general location, a somewhat appalled look on his face.
"Wait a moment, wait, wait a moment," he says in protest, looking up at the hero, "listen, I understand that what they just did is a big deal and all but, serious, potentially eternally-damning, supernatural penalties are a bit much for what one could sum up as a collection of furry...Somewhat vicious...Moody teenagers," he says, pausing in-between his descriptions as he slowly looks over to the group that had been captured.
Toni dismissed his own pack, and gave Rose's hand a return squeeze as he stood. He looked at Tyler. "Are you all right? No lingering geas?"
Rose smiles to Toni, looking on sympathetically to Tyler as he replies, ambient weakly.
"Yeah, clear as crystal." He snorts, before adding curtly. "But I seriously couldn't control my actions, I haven't used any magic for months, much less trying to join Coleman's pack-" Whatever words he meant to say stopped abruptly as he suddenly slumps into unconsciousness...from shock perhaps?
At this Rose appears worried, not simply for Tyler as those with supernatural senses would sense a prick of dark magic in the air, as she remarks.
"Something isn't right here, can you feel that?"
Setzer looked up, nose twitching as he attempted to locate and identify this new threat. He moved from shadow to shadow around the perimeter of the auditorium...
Toni looked around. His magical senses were not as acute as either Rose's or Setzer's, but if whatever it was struck they might not have time to tell him what they sensed...
Setzer, Toni, Rose, and others attuned to the supernatural would feel the dark magic pass like a chilling breeze, gone before it could be thoroughly examined. However, what is discernible is that it is relatively weak, and it did not come from outside campus, or the students present or in stasis.
Connor looks up at the ceiling in puzzlement, then in both directions, then turns around to look behind him.
"...Well that didn't feel like anyone I know," he says, furrowing his brow for a moment. He looks up again, as if thinking, then looks over at his shoulder at Shepherd while raising a finger, as if making an important point. "Hold that thought," he says simply, scouting about the auditorium as if looking for anything out of the ordinary.
For a time misty was out. Hard to figure but the energy it took to break what had taken hold of Tyler had drained her. When she came too the lights started flickering as she started siphoning energy from them. "Excuse me, but maybe the pack wasn't in full control. Something was manipulating that fellow there." She motioned to Tyler. "Now I'm Pissed this is my Haunting grounds and I am teriotial!" Was she now radiating darkness as her form grew even more dark. "Hate, despair, fear! Hear me and come to my calling!" Sure enough she was drawing on some dark mojo from the underworld and the shadows around her seems go grow and form a dark cloud screaming faces of souls could be seen within. "NOW WHO DARES MESS WITH MY SCHOOL!"
Damon Blake would have been in detention this whole time and would've ignored ESSI when she said that all students must go to the auditorium.
Shepherd looked At Conner.
"They are not my laws these laws were made by the creatures themselves in order to prevent humans of ever finding out of their existance to keep their activities secret. Think about it, If the mortals knew of what went on, it would be all out war. I am not the one who would try. It would most likely be their elders."
"But you have to admit that's still entirely ridiculous," Connor retorts, furrowing his brow a bit, "who says that they even have to know, at this point?"
"Rules bla bla bla. Face it this is Titan City. We accept aliens, flying men and women with and without wings, Walking fire, Robots, we even have a dogman for the head of swat. We be open to the supernatural. At least I hope given I'm a ghost and fall into that category, and so don't make myself all secretive."
Natalia nods at that, adding with confidence to Shepard.
"And I'm a vampire, the point is that as we creatures of the night have our own laws, so does this city...for now it seems their status as students outweighs their actual heritage."
Pinching the bridge of her nose, Principal Ellis remarks, in regards to Misty, Natalia's, and Shepard's statements.
"Then we can discuss the implications of that at a later date, provided your're still interested." To Misty and Shepard, before adding. "ESSI, please inform all students that they are to head to 7th period."
With the command given, ESSI promptly relays the message over the loudspeakers.
"All students excluding those currently within the suspension room please head to 7th period."
Shepherd nodded He looked at Principle Ellis.
"Maybe you can say it was a drill that you brought me here to help with. to ease the students and parents minds. If they thought it was a drill. Maybe it could calm things down a bit. delete all footage."
Alicia looks towards the hero with a touch of curiosity. "I am not sure lying to the students, parents, and faculty is wise, especially considering there are hundreds of eye-witness accounts."
Principal Ellis nods to both statements, before replying.
"Alicia is right, however easy it would be to simply cover up the truth. The fact of the matter is that most importantly it was handled without a single loss of life...though it required some students to step into the line of fire themselves." She turns to Alicia at this.
Shepherd nodded and understood. He didn't want the student who caused the attack to suffer any consequences in case they were not in their right mind when they attacked. He then looked at principle Ellis.
"Then maybe I can help. Stay here as an enforcer and keep the supernatural students in check so an incident like this doesn't happen again."
Principal Ellis takes a moment to ponder the implications of Shepard on campus, before nodding slowly, but adding.
"I want a full resume on my desk no later then tomorrow morning and official recognition from the TCPD, and the Greater Titan City Education board." With that, the disciplined woman begins to repair the Auditorium herself by tapping into her usually hidden abilities of force field generation and energy constructs, in tandem with ESSI's guidance.
"You will have it. since I'm a member of Titan's Legacy it may be a good idea if I stick around anyway in case anyone else tries to manipulate the students to further their goals."
Misty focus was fading and she calmed down and she released the dark energy she was holding. "So there nothing to fight?"
"Well, now that that's all over." ,Dennis walked into the cafeteria vending machine and purchased 3 sweet cakes, a few bags of nacho cheese chips and hard shelled candies most of them being put in his pockets for later use, as he took 2 of the sweet cake and stacked them on top of one another and ate them at the same time in 2 bites, making his way back to the rest of the group.
Rose shook her head as she grabbed her bag, shrugging it over her shoulder a bit tiredly as she rested momentarily to recover some energy from fighting, before remarking.
"No, there isn't, not now anyway. And whatever did drive Coleman's pack to rally and attack is still present, so keep your guard up, all of you." She warns, as she turns to Toni.
"Ready for 7th?"
The brawl had taken place so quickly that by the time Liberty Girl had gotten into the Auditorium from backstage, it was over. She approached Principal Ellis as the older woman showed an impressive range of utility with her force fields. As Liberty Girl walked across the Auditorium, she heard a squeal of metal and looked up just in time to see the Jumbotron-style scoreboard break loose.
Setting her feet, she leaped upwards and caught the scoreboard, the angle of her ascent carrying herself and the ten tons of metal away from anyone else. They plummeted to the floor and Liberty Girl landed first, her powerful legs cushioning the impact. But several slats of the gym floor were still broken. She extricated herself quickly and looked around. "Anyone hurt?"
Andy had assisted during the fight by slowing the reactions of the attackers, making it easier for the defenders to hit them. Once the students had been dismissed, Andy went to his locker and grabbed his French book, then headed off to Ms. Lelande's class.
Portia had a free period, so she kept to her usual schedule and headed towards the locker room. She was moving a bit slowly, her mind focused on Lance and him screaming about turning her into calamari. She shivered a little bit, her nerves slightly frazzled, then trudged on. Reaching her locker, she began changing into a sleek indigo racerback one-piece.
"It is to be expected of me, Miss," Alicia says in response to the principal before she makes her way out of the auditorium. After taking a moment to survey the state of the room, Alicia slowly turns to depart herself, the excitement of the moment momentarily causing her to forget where it was she was due to go.
"Yeap. You're free this period too, right?" Toni reached for Rose's hand.
Principal Ellis had already erected a forcefield over the area where the jumbotron would have fallen, but retracts it at Alexa's swift actions, replying dully.
"No, and nice catch Liberty Girl. Perhaps in the future you would be interested in a staff position here, should time allow?"
Rose squeezes Toni's hand back as she begins to usher them out of the Auditorium and into the now calm, quiet hallways as students call their parents, letting them know of the chaos that took place.
"Technically speaking, yes. I have study hall at the moment in the Library, care to follow, or do you want to head to Miss Hall's"
Natalia, having a free period as well, turns to wave to Alicia before heading after Portia, who seemed shaken after Lance's comments, inquiring once reaching her on her way to the pool.
"Portia, are you alright?" She asks, with genuine concern.
Toni looked around. "I was thinking here in the auditorium; since this's where Mr. Theroux said we needed to be after school."
Rose took a moment to smirk before replying.
"And look at me already forgetting, but I suppose it will give us time to relax now that we aren't being attacked. Are you alright?" She inquires gently, looking for an honest answer.
Toni smiled. "I'm fine. It seems a rainbow makes a good shield against shadow."
Rose smiled back, replying happily as she leads him to an undestroyed section of seats, plopping down gently.
"And you didn't even have to resort to using bubbles." Jokes.
