They can fuse together, they can shoot lasers, the next stage up, when two end up fusing, is about as effective as a rikti monkey, if another fuses with that it's about a minion. Two more, lieutenant, two more, boss and another 5, they're about an EB. Luckily squishing them somehow causes them to lose their fusability.

Yep! And stabbing... Cold works well too, but Terrance doesn't seem to do well on output, how's the suit work? I'm curious cause Tech could try and jury rig an upgrade :D.

Hey, I'm not sure if any body else notices or gets annoyed by lulls in posting, I don't, but that's not directly what this is about. I was planning on posting and working on a minecraft project of our base built 'to scale' roughly, also wanted to wait a bit to let Gladatoria post. I planned that monday, tuesday was good and got a lot done on the BaseCrafting, wednesday had D20, then found out my uncle died.

I've been having trouble wrapping my head around the idea of posting ever since I found out, so I'm going to be on a bit of a hiatus for awhile, not very long. Between helping my family and not being about to think about it, I'll may not be posting for a week or so, again... Sorry for the weird way of saying it,

On that note, I also recall a conversation where Gladatoria mentioned she was hopefully going on a trip after the first. Just thought I should mention it. Maybe be why she hasn't posted in a little.

The Minecraft Base is kiiinda weird... But I love it, and it lags minecraft like crazy, hopefully I'll be back to myself shorter than I think I will be.

I love both of them... Skips sounds REALLY cool... I don't know about composition really... I try to split my characters off to do something in another group, like they weren't on that team >.> Cept when I can't.... Then there's kindra who's bad...

I like Skips alot! But Second Strike sounds really interesting for her story and powers.... One seems really squishy? Like he'd fit a controller like role, but that could be wrong. Second Strike's Scrappy? I don't know how to classify some of the other characters really...

Kami's an illusory mastermind, reeeaally under powered for with lots of randomness to her pets, couple staple spells like her flight shield and basic shield spells...

Toby's very scrappy with heavy team support with wither AoE heals, buffs, or both, targeted sometimes. Kinda not there with him yet.

Kindra's kind of a rogue, Dominator not really part of the team.

Technosis is definitely a weird blastermind thing... Only possible very carefully...

Terry's pretty stable mentally, except a few things he tries to just not mention about his family or past, like he hates breaking code names. He thinks he can maintain a secret identity. He's sort of a... Weird... Blaster... Blapper? With... stuff. Another one that's only possible very very carefully, or on CoT and probably more carefully... :D Hopefully... I made a sheet somewhere...

I think either one could fit if my own idea of how the team dynamic goes, is what it is... the lightning powers maaay be a little more useful combattively, and story, so if you want just one she seems priority, and also balances the male to female ratio, which I think is... 7/5? Counting Terrance and Winston, and flux and Kindra. Not sure of every alliegence there, cept Kindra.

I'd say young hero, almost like a home for wayward supers, 11 is the youngest, though likely an exception to the 'rule'. Kami is the little 'sister' of another character. Gold-Fire/Terry's 18, Tobias is 16 just recently, Technosis/Laurn is 17. Pretty sure no one is older than 18.

Also, to something said earlier, I really never did make a character concept that fit one archetype, most ideas had a loooot of capacity to use their powers in different ways. Tobias with light and Dark powers could blast his way around and defend, be a yin-yang howitzer, but that's not his style, and original was a scrapper... Terry was a blaster, ended up playing a blapper for all of the last few years of CoH. I always had alts of one or the other, with slightly different powers.

Hopefully they'll be capable of more encompassing sets in CoT. It looks like the systems will allow something closer to concept. I really loved energy aura, wanted a whoooole set based on absorbing energy from attacks and or from enemies and then doing something cool. As a very active scrapper secondary. Anyway...

Muuuch bigger.... Probably the size of a large beach ball... Or... As wide in diameter as a twin size mattress is long... Plus heavy...

Definitely not more than ten? Mathing... It's not MORE than 10 tonnes, even if you're using metric, and an 'average t-rex' approximate weight... It had more mass, lost some mass... Probably 6-7 tonnes? Terry's going to push, Psionette's already pushing, Tech is giving Signy something he thinks is a jet, may... not... be... I don't know, sometimes his powers work bad... Lots of stacking knockdown/up/back(Left, right square...)

Oh all of the compounds are 'naturally occurring' sound in a sense if he can sense copper, he could likely sense this thing to a T. Hehehe. I'm stuck on things and details. I love RPing because of where and how things can change, but I also like playing GM to a degree.

I'm up for either way, but to be frank it gets boring if that's the case, if we're always coming up with the answer to problems we make ourselves it'll get boring. Not that that's been the case. That said, if anybody wants to talk to me, ask me, or collaborate and trade details of stories and plots they want please do!

Also, I'm not sure how everyone is dispersed again? Tobias and Tech, are still a block or so from the base, while Gold-Fire and Cam are in the crater 3 miles outside the city, if I recall. Master plan exists vaguely, though I like the idea of the crystal golem! Tobias was/is studying alchemy from books Kami and Chiron made.

The orb was made by a combination of accident and well timed... intervention? Yeah, the situation with Mecha Sue and the Laserta are related to the Machina Mana, which is a form of magical energy that's formed by the co-dependency of humans collective knowledge and experience, and the electromagnetic fields of the earth, interacting with the spiritual energy and the wireless fields of the computers.

The Machina Mana is also, a place. That said the creatures on the other side of the energy, whom I've yet to introduce, may have sent or created Oumm to assist the Wanderers, though I had ideas that it would be a techno-magical device meant to act as gate/key to keep the Laserta from stealing the energy that's basically supporting another dimension. The energy is, to use a doctor quote, the footprint that doesn't look like the boot.

I'd be quite willing to allow you to take control of the copper technomagic orb as a new rendition of your Oumm, provided the new origin bleeds through and he/she/it acts like the gate keeper to the Machina Mana.

Eh, I'm not entirely sure. It didn't start out this way, the first thread had me, Gladatoria, Steamtank, Moondune and Rotten Luck. In the first thread there were only uhhh 7 members? Terry, Laurence, Sabrina, Sandy, Dustin and Misty on the Wanderers Team.

We only had two villains in that thread, the Laserta Aliens and Crow. Then we had a hiatus for 6 months and I tried thread necromancing and succeeded, in more of a thread reincarnation.

The second thread caused the group to shift and expand. Gladatoria asked if I had more characters to contribute, so I did, others chimed in, Moondune hasn't been back to the new thread, Rotten Luck and Steamtank both swapped characters out for other more suitable or fun alts. Foradain added Signy and Evaine, I introduced Tobias and Kami, with their villains Kujo and Kindra. D-Pad brought Titan 10, and Whip brought Terrance.

The reasoning I like the attribute to it is this, a good story or group has a lot of contributing members, and a good story doesn't always use all the characters at once. Some of the reason I have so many alts is partly because I feel the necessity to, if things like, drive activity up with the group (Since in the concept of the game I'd be SG leader.). I really don't find it particularly confusing since I've been in RPing sessions and situations where there were sometimes a dozen people RPing live at the same time, there had to be 'post' orders. We're not likely to keep all the characters active at once.

Right now for instance, I'm not posting with my villains even though I could be. It would simply be a bother and a nuisance to read them planning or idling until their plan actually comes to fruitition. The other reason why I have so many alts is that I've suspected I've had aspergers, which some don't really think applies to online socialization, but I believe it certainly does. If you don't know what that is, it's basically a form of autism that relates to social interaction, often linked in recent studies to over empathization and thus over stimulation, as well as social centers of the brain lagging behind while intellectual centers shoot forward...

That is to say, I have trouble introducing myself to new people, I'm gregarious enough, but social awkwardness and anxiety makes me just avoid it unless it's on my terms. Online I can hide weird quirks and things, and wear masks of my characters. I do apologize if it's bloated the threads character count to an unwieldy state.

I try to keep it balanced, you'll almost never see my own character deliver a killing blow on a villain or situation that's produced by me. The multiple characters is mostly because I have like, a dozen different tracks in my head all going at once and each characters thoughts and actions follow a different logical or illogical path to what they intend. ::Shrug:: I feel ya on the social interaction and non-verbal cues! I was mis-diagnosed as ADHD, and my mother tried to challenge it when I was still a kid, there are other cues that a lot of psychologists simply ignore so they can send you to be medicated. Meditation always helped me more.
