That makes sense. I had a character who I treated as natural origin for similar reasons, even though there were magical functionality to his powers. That makes more sense, because of her race she's sort of like a vibrating string in time? Sort of in several places/times several moments bobbing back and forth, too much happening in a single moment or doing something there causes disruption, stops the vibration at her natural frequency. She's like a fixed string, re-experiencing itself and other strings, sometimes they fray and get woven into something different. Ooor I could have completely misunderstood lol.

Well, I supose there would be some energy drag because while Sandy was bobbing Terry back and forth he was technically in two states at once, his material form that he's currently aware, and his energy form, which is what remembers bobbing around with sandy and retains the idea of control, the energy mass is is conscious self constructing the physical body, which is his regeneration working when he's got energy to use. They're technically one, but he's got to learn what the two are. The energy body is, ironically, not shielded from telepathy inherently. Since it's just a collection of thoughts and intentional energy bound up as "Terry/Gold-Fire".

I'd never thought of it, the ripples his body and energy being out of sync and echoing creates could be absorbed, and without an already paradoxical entity playing around with time around him, I'd never think of something like that happening... I don't think it matters in this case, especially since he doesn't have an outside source to absorb from, he is the source, and the side effects of his energy can't be absorbed, just like he can't absorb the shockwave, the heat or whatever, from his own powers, though he can exclude people from being effected by it if he thinks about it. Which sometimes he doesn't x.x

Soo, since things seem to be slowing down I thought I'd post here again, make sure everyone was still interested, figured we're just busy with Rl. I'll Recap some things for possible story thoughts and directions I picked up on/we discussed, maybe we can rehash and discuss a few more and post some more again.

I've been thinking of hybridizing Technosis a litttle by having him make up some 'technomagic', so he'd be intrigued by tagging along. He also wants some robopets, so that's an interesting avenue for that.

I have a cool idea for it, since he's been trying to find and observe Terry's energy waves for so long his tech can read psychic, mana, temporal, and lots of other shifts. That said I had the idea that he could notice some weird energy in the super computer when he's messing around before the trip, capture it and pop, he's fond the machine mana.
(Machine Mana or Machina Mana is created by latent or potent psychic energy clinging to broken bits of wireless data, which lets him manipulate computers and other objects on a super natural level)

I thought he could find a familiar that's fond of the machine energy and builds it a body :D

Also: How long should we skip?

I would like for them to be still in some upgrade phase, but some stuff can be pretty quickly done, for instance, Technosis would could upgrade the HUDs for everyone and link them to the super computer. I do intend for him to have the super computer and security system in place, though it's bound to be something he's tampering with constantly. (Maybe he even tampers with machina mana and gets us all stuck in the computer by accident!) >.>

Though, at first it would just link us to a(n) (Optional)Multi-spectral analyzer, crime computer, com system, map server(lol), and an anonymous phoneline for outside of team conversation? (Doesn't seem to big a deal, just basically emulating game mechanics.)

I wanna time skip a week or so. That way Technosis can set up his server and headset techy stuff, fix/upgrade his suit, then we can start by the plan to take out the junkyard guy...? Then we can go explore Turbulences plot for a bit. I've got little in plans for Terry at the moment, he's more slowly growing in power/control over time till he hits his story stuff...

I like that idea :) I don't mind secretiveness...

What do you think of Sabrina being the reason Technosis discovers the machine energy?

Basically since her psychic energy can interact with the machines and create the machina mana by accident when she projects psionically through the devices he uses to try and make her the cerebro-ish device. The machina mana would also make it possible to extend Sabrina's abilities into some technopathic abilities, With the device on of course.

Oh! Just had a really cool idea, there's this object(Real life stuff) orbiting the north pole, which Technosis is refering to, which is pretty much what technosis said, except I think it could be a way for the Commander Mark 0 Draconic Overseer(CoM0DO) alien to notice them. They'd communicate on a half electronic half psychic wavelength, which would be why Tesla's communication is in the machina mana cloud he's collected.

The black ship could have been the first envoy of these aliens and the CoM0DO could awaken with limited forces. (Could also serve as a super villain base O.O!)

That's a good plan, Gladatoria, I guess I kinda juggle too much with Gold-Fire and Technosis.

I figured that was the sort of thing that would happen with Sandy, she was an entertaining character to play with but seems hard to build or do much with.

Since Misty moved on any sort would work great to get into Wanderers. There are definitely rooms do fill in the base.

If ya couldn't tell, I had a case of altaholism... More characters keep coming to mind that I could play...

Kami is a 'demon' Tobias saved from hell early in his 'career' trying to gain an audience with Lord Chiron the lord of violence. To gain audience one has to take part in an arena fight to the death. She was injured and he saved her by using his demon powers on her(His 'spines' are metal and form when he courses regenerative nuero-toxin through his body, the toxin heals the victim but creates intense pain.). Technically she's a demon by place of origin, but by blood she's genetically human, from a mage clan that was wiped out by another warring tribe in hell. She was in the arena to ask Chiron to take vengeance on her behalf on the demons who killed her family. Chiron ordered her to go with Tobias and repay the life debt, which has since been repaid, but in the process Tobias and Kami grew close, like big brother and little sister. She's an insanely brilliant mage, if I had to put her powers into a concept they would be mastermind with forcefields as her secondary (Even though in CoH, it wasn't an option.)

I'm heavily leaning towards bringing Tobias and Kami (As a pair) and Phasmatis into the fold as well. Tobias, Kami and Phasmatis fit the bill best, I definitely like them the best too. Oxydendron is too close to Dryad in concept, and constantly high on oxygen from the plants in her body.

Edit: I'm heavily leaning towards Tobias and Kami, half because I just love the characters and because I just finished writing my novel which centers quite a bit on those two.

One question/thought that I'm struggling with however is figuring out how they'll end up recruiting people, though I think we established in the earlier thread that they got grants and stuff to be a teen SG, so maybe they could send them teen heroes in need of help, might draw us some trouble makers but that wouldn't be bad, much. I've got an idea for how to Tobias'll get tossed into the group.

Sweet, did we ever establish the area of town that the Wanderers Tower was set up in? I feel like it should be in one of the more rundown and destitute areas, so that their community outreach and involvement can have a logical reasoning. It would also maximize intended impact to be in an area over run with crime and poverty.

Well, Phasmatis can get involved as well, I think I do pretty well at juggling multiple characters... There are a few other alts I could toss in perhaps.

Kitoshi 'Ryuda' is a guy who was possessed by the soul of an ancient Japanese metal/fire dragon, he manifests swords made from the bones of the dragon and flames. He used to be a thug and got caught in a fire durring a gang initiation, the dragons bones were in the fire with him and saved his life, but in exchange if he did an act of evil the dragon would take his body, each act of evil morphs him a little more into a draconic creature.

Might be running out of alts, I'll have to dig deeper into Gold-Fire's story before Phasmatis can be introduced, but she'll be on the way.

Yeaaah, not always good, but by the same token, when it rains, it pours!
