Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

I like the idea you have for constructing spell words, it's basically how I plan to work out inscriptions and things like that, I think that it might depend on the situation how the runes are used, sometimes divination meaning is useful it they're manipulating probability. Other times magical meaning would be more useful, the thing about runes is they're like magical archetypes, concepts of what they do and we can work and weave them into many different spells. I look forward to seeing what we come up with.

Cam graduated high school in May with honors and a 4.0. He will turn 18 in mid-October. He is in the process of taking a year off before he attends Ephesus University on a scholarship. His plans are to get a dual major in Geology and Physics, with a minor in Engineering.
Ultimately, he wants to design a machine that can detect oncoming earthquakes and counteract their severity, along with advancing the science of earthquake-proofing.
Anywho, he could use a place to stay, since that would put less strain on his parents in supporting his younger siblings.

That sounds like a good plan for Cam! Well then he's welcome to stay like Terrance.
Laurence is on par with Cam in grades and academia, planning a degree in Engineering and Physics, minor in Chemistry.
Terry is not a great student, he's got around a 2.9 GPA in his last year of school, once he's out he plans to go into law enforcement, criminal psychology.
Tobias used to be a phenomenal student before he disappeared from London and showed up in Titan City, he's gonna be starting almost entirely over. Plus get a green card, he's technically an illegal immigrant, but his circumstances would probably allow him to stay.
Kami has no experience in school at all but she's mostly going to catch up with history and technology.
Mar I think about to enter the WHY? phase.
Oumm just doesn't care. Just watches and collects info.

Oumm conversed with the group through Garrett to inform them of it's purpose... Uhhh Tobias and Signy got back from beating up thugs and discovering another Eden Tech plot, this time involving the Wise Cats. Tobias got a magic, selectively talking, teleporting cat, you may have seen that... They came home and had icecream... Uhh, really I don't think anything particularly eventful occurred... Now they're just winding down I think.
If I'm missing something someone please correct me. ><
If Winston wants to come back to the base he can, I think we established that one of the storage rooms doubles as a garage, assuming Titan can duck to fit in. I Think we might need to make the base more handicap accessible... Like one of those wheelchair lift things that moves them up the stairs, since we have two possible members who can't walk.
Alrighty. I'll probably wait for the timeskip then in order to make jumping back in a little more smooth.

Kaay, the renovations will be complete and look basically like the Minecraft images I posted the other day, after the time skip. Since Terrance is already in the group we'll say the lifts are in, I can't really make wheel chair lifts on minecraft, but I could in the CoH base builder :(
Edit Also: If it helps anyone see what the base really feels like moving through it, I can post more pics of it from first person instead of like a map.

I am leaving for vacation early Saturay morning and will be back next Saturday evening/night. I don't know if I will have computer access while I'm gone, so there's a good chance that I am going to disappear for a week. I apologize for the unexplained and extended absence. I'm not really sure what's come over me, but I've felt very depressed and reclusive lately. I really enjoy Rping with all of you, but I guess emotional backlog has gotten me down lately. I'll try to get to working out the images for the base 'walkthru' I mentioned earlier and hopefully post something to start the time skip and spread out characters into the other RP threads. (Also, didn't want to post in JDHS until after the big random villain attack was over.)

This would be Kami's second christmas, but the whole santa thing never came up, they were at a nephilim house and they kinda don't do that, but they still exchange gifts. Mar and Kami go to the Maul for christmas? There's someone posting already about Santa's preparations for christmas.

Had a thought: Since we just kind of inadvertantly shifted through wibbly wobbly comic stuff, to winter, which I'm cool with since there's more activity ATM, would Kami be possibly practicing or learning from Evaine over the winter break? Tobias could be off anywhere, though he's likely inclined to hang around Signy when allowed.
Also: About the christmas 'special' idea, sounds really funny, I have a funny thought about that. Mar could convince Oumm to go look into the Machina Mana and find the island of Misfit toys. Oumm does it and because the Machina Mana is magical energy from peoples thoughts melded with packets from the internet in quantum entanglement, there happens to be a pocket dimension within the Machina Mana close enough to resemble it. Also, due to things done by the characters, the building effectively works as a portal like standing stones, but it's only working on the Machina Mana, though in theory if the machina mana is 'on the tree' but a new branch or something, it's accessible to others as well.
On the snowy island would be a bunch of misfit creatures from the Machina Mana, all holiday related, would be funny to make up random creatures.... Dreidel that turns into a lion, or something, we need to band together with santa to save this pocket dimension from collapsing on the misfits and find out who's making it worse. Or something... Just some funny ideas for it...
I'm thinking there'll be a front area, probably a living room and dining room, where men can be as long as they behave themselves, and another entrance so that women who have issues with men even when they are behaving themselves don't have to risk seeing them or being seen by them. So if Kami takes her lessons there, Tobias can be there also. (Children of women staying at the shelter don't count. But, especially for older boys, they have to behave themselves.)
At the moment, though, no lessons! Preparation for the mystical side of the Yule celebration took place last week. Among the Freyani Fellowship, Yuletide lasts from sundown on the day of the solstice (23:03 UT the Sunday just past, which was 18:03 in Titan City) for twelve days, which brings us to sundown next Friday. Some sources suggest that in ancient times the Yuletide was only three days. (Reportedly, when the Avatar heard some modern Odinists celebrated for twelve days, she said, "Sure, why not?")
So at the moment, Signy will be helping to prepare today's feast, Tobias and Kami are welcome to help out.
As for the Island of Misfit Toys, that is just too silly. Therefore we must do it!

The first and big question is how? How would they end up on an Island of Misfit toys.
Deus ex machina! Let me explain... so we been talking about the Norse Mythos in this Head cannon universe of ours. Yule Log was a Norse tradition as well. Misfit toys... how do they get to this Island. Then out of the blue it struck me we Q it! Q as in Q from the Next Generation. In this case it be Loki the wily trickster god of Norse mythology.
So given there might be a reason the Trickster God took notice of the young Wanderers via noting Kami and perhaps a few others... and hearing the young child mind worry about the Misfit toys. So what do you think Loki up to his old tricks?

This discussion reminds of when I participated in a themed one-shot D&D session where we had to protect Santa's workshop and elf village from a marauding orc army.

Dagaz is day or enlightenment, probably literal inlightenment, Othala is kind of a luck run, by what I've read and laguz is 'water' or going with the flow...

From the Deviations system I use LeadWonderer I don't change the meaning of a rune if it backwards or upside down. Then again I made up my own system for RPing still seems to work. Haven't came across any rules about inverted or upside down runes.

Bucky isn't in the tower, and probably can't know where it is, no scent trail.
Depends on what you're smelling. As Goldenrod sees magic, and Rhythiel and many bards hear magic, Sings Loudly smells magic. If Bucky and/or Kami think to ask. Plus Jake's employers may be worried about the sudden loss of signal.

Still, it's not there enough that it wouldn't appear in the layer of reality Terry and Kami are in, so the energy bleeding into the percievable universe would change a bit, I think. Still, tower wouldn't be there, kinda like the idea of the gaping hole.

Ahhh, wouldn't know any who would know how to do that. Kami knows how to handle portals, if she's got the book to draw the portal from. She could also track energy through entanglement processes, though again that would depend on whether she has the book for it. The book might be in the library in the magic section, Atrox gets heavy with a whole library inside, and it's hard to find things.
Might also visit a Shop in Alexandria of a Rune Priest who might be able to help. That could be an option. Or there is a Dragon with fondness of books. The challenge is why or how Kami would know to look or whoever thinks of the idea of where to look.
P.S. Loki and what ever on the island are NPCs. Have fun don't wait for me to play the part.

Sounds like fun. I been trying to think of what happening on this island. So how about a Toy Civil War. You have one side led by the King and the Good Toys, on the other side you have the Bad toys, going from just misguided to truthfully warped toys that nightmares are made from.

I like this idea too, though right now, some of us are already getting into waylays. Which sides territory are we in? Or have we been dropped somewhere in the middle? Dreidelion is out there somewhere, he's probably one of the good toys, even if he does like to eat stuffed rabbits. Triceradactyls could be nightmares, and the lego guy is just wrong, comes prebuilt with instructions for how to take him apart...
Because we have a rough idea how the island would be like. The Toys didn't attack Rudolph and the others when they visited.

There are some characters where the base used to be. Goldfire, and Kami are standing outside the Hole where the tower was. So your character could show up and look stunned at the hole (not to mention the glowing ball of pure energy hovering in the air that's the Mecha Mana of Lead Wonderer's)

I've tried not to correct it, just cause it's not a big deal, but Machina Mana or Manna, I believe manna is the word for world in latin or greek, could be wrong, sot it's kind of a double en tendre. Anyway, no biggy! Mecha is close too since it's just another word for a big machine... :Shrug:
Please feel free to join in GoldPeter, the wanderers have been prone to big events, like hosting battle against a giant lizard monster shortly after their second membership drive. The first ended up having a few people drop, sadly, but their players are still around as other alts.
This wouldn't be a bad situation to bring someone in anyway. The Wanderers run their tower currently as a home for teens and kids with powers who are homeless or orphans and need guidence. Young Wanderers is their newer name, and there's probably talk about them since there has likely already been one or two instances in which they had to intervene when an abusing spouse showed up at the womens shelter across the street run by the mother of one of our members. Though only Tobias, Kami and Technosis have public identities as far as I know.
They're always open to help people, and currently have room for characters who just show up under any circumstances. My alts Tobias and Kami showed up with Tobias in cuffs and Kami magi-barriered to his side. The rest showed up nroughly the same time and Hel broke loose, though that may have been elsewhere.
Currently trying to consider who ICly and OOCly would be good people to have character promoted to Senior Wanderers. Age is one factor, mental and physical, Oumm and Cam come to mine first here, since Cam has shown maturity and good strategic sense, Oumm is just unwavering and basically entirely nuetral, if it puts the machina mana in danger, he's against it, which usually would put wanderers in danger. Other than those two Signy's next I think of, but probably below age requirement, figured 16 was mark for being in charge.
I bring this up because in the idea that I want to make this into an SG when we get in game I'd like to run it relatively democratically, and currently IC we have enough but OOC it's just me and Sabrina. Oumm and Cam also come up cause Rotten's been around since the first topic for the wanderers, though sadly briefly. I also think X tends to make a good person to help run stuff, not to put pressure or burdens on people, just thinking about the future.
Anybody elses thoughts?
Thinking about it I believe Finn could show up. Attracted to the Loki Norse Magical energy, or otherwise he recognizes the energy pattern of the Trickster god. (Jutan Frost might also pick this up as well.)

Interesting note about Finn. When he draws out a Runestone it's random I use a dice roller. Thought I don't do that for say he needs a spell or something but for Deviation it's pure random chance.

If ya hadn't noticed, Toby's really susceptible to cold, and it's definitely a racial draw back from the demonic side. I figured bones laced with metal would cool faster if the theory replaced some of the calcium. There had to be enough that they could redirect to make the blades. He has a lot of iron in his blood, and carbon... They also have the same sort of consistency, aside from along the edge where it's sharp and serrated, of foam? Hence why it breaks under some stress and handles others better. I can't remember where the articles are but I've seen this iron foam stuff it's neat.
And now you know why General Panic on the island of Misfit toys. Well besides being a GI joe knockoff.

At some point I do want to have a separate RP thread where the origins of Kel and Ray's powers and the person who attacked him are at least explored. Since I do want to keep Ray associated with the team I was wondering if any characters would be interested in joining in on this sort of side quest to develop Ray's story at the very least. If so I can at least create an OOC thread to at least start getting it set up.

It's been awhile.
I am gong to get back into RP with Sebastian and update the character list threads. I finally have gotten more free time too make this possible. I am thinking about a way to get Sebastian in this RP (possibly along with Marionette considering this is Ironport and he patrols around a lot there so the Wanderers likely would atleast be aware of him. Infact Technosis by technicality already is)

Sooo... Really sorry for the quiet and sudden disappearance... I don't really know what came over me for the past couple months. I'd really like to pull another RP together around the tower and steel port. It looks like RP is pretty active.
I thought of another idea for how we could possibly put up threads based on the region of the city, like steelport, or other areas, include a link to the map in the first post for reference. It might change the nature of RP environment, since they could function as 'hub' posts for people who don't know about joining a group or something?
There already a few old threads based on areas.
As for you being gone, don't worry we all have dry spells. So welcome back.

I think I might implement a new character concept in this story (no relation to Sebastian) as I could not think of any realistic way he could intertwine in the same continuity between all of the RP threads.
That does not mean Sebastian won't appear at all. I just doubt he could be in the story full time, being in school and all.

Okay, that makes sense. Flux showed up during the Laserta attack right?
I kind of imagine that some characters are likely to come and go from the Wanderers Tower for various reason, just makes sense. They're a group home for powered or enhanced people, so some of them will show up and get adopted, or returned home, or some other thing.
Kinda feel like lowering the number of characters I'm posting as, but also really like all the ones I'm using. That said, everyone can also bring in villains, not that we need a big explosive thing. I'm thinking we might want to start a new thread that's more about the Wanderers on patrol, that way we're not restricted to RPing at the tower, we could go anywhere in the area of Steelport, brain storm a few locations as props, so to speak.
[b]Edit: [/b] Also, looks good Bleddyn! I think starting up the new thread around Steelport will be a good point to introduce him, maybe using the docks and crane machinery to have fun with his powers, maybe causes an accident or something. I like the notion of his 'artificial mutant' origin. Kinda like the mutants in Ultimate Universe?
