Okay so here is my complete character sheet (some parts of this are slightly modified). Xscelier gave me the challenge of making an happy backstory for one of my RP characters. I hope this one came out right. Some people whom are aware of the existence of an cartoon named ''Danny Phantom'' might recognize the scene that turned Jack into an unnatural mutant (with my own spin of course).

Backstory: Jack Amun's family was always constantly moving around the world since the earliest remembered days of his life. Jack's parents where rich workaholics whom where always on the job, unfortunately like many parents of that caliber Jack was routinely was set aside for there jobs even when they finally settled in a small little town north of the famous Titan City. For the earliest years of his life Jack was raised by the butlers, cooks,maids, and general servants that milled about in the Amun family mansion built on the edge of that small town. Jack always had an enduring happy-go lucky personality at an early age. The servants theorized that despite there best efforts Jack was continually getting more and more lonely due to his parents absence. It's noted that Jack considered the servants friends and family in a sense, but to him it was never the same thing as seeing his blood related parents on rare occasions. Jack's parents were not the best parents but they wearn't cruel, on those rare visits they would show as much love as they could. When Jack was of school age his bulters and maids urged Jack's parents to send him to school so he could interact with kids his own age.

Unfortunately Jack's experiences at school were not the best. Jack since an early age always kept his hair long and well cared for. If his servants or parents were to ask about why he hadn't asked for them to cut it yet he would just shrug and tell them that he liked it that way. Jack was constantly admonished and bullied in school for his appearance mainly by other boys. Despite that Jack still kept his happy-go lucky attitude and made some friends. Jack himself actually was actually pretty well liked by most of his classmates for his friendly disposition. The general problem which he realized real fast was that his tormentors were from families even more rich then his and that it wasn't unusual for anyone who stood up to them to find there own parent's company forced to close down for whatever reason. Despite Jack's predicament in school he gained some friends. Jack's friends where siblings whom went by the name of Johnny Vin and Lena Vin

Jack built up an high amount of loyalty to his best friends who stuck with him over the years. Johnny Vin was an older kid whom was known to have a sarcasm streak to those whom tried to bother Jack while Lena was known to be very much protective over Jack. Johnny and Lena would usually stand up for Jack as Jack was an smaller kid then his classmates despite his protests that he could handle it himself. Jack never really liked being coddled. It's the one concept in his head that he never really got about his social status. He took being properly mannered and he took his hygiene very seriously but he couldn't stand not being able to do things for himself. He commonly would help out the cooks and the cleaning maids all day. The only other thing he couldn't stand was being forced to wear fancy suits all the time.

Unfortunately his happy times didn't last. By the age of 13 Jack suffered heavily from an horrible accident that happened with a magical artifact that his parents kept in the basement of the mansion. Jack was always an curious child ever since he was young. He liked to ask his servants of stories about his parents or about where certain material obsessions in his house where obtained. He maintained an high sense of curiosity and of a want to stuff his head with knowledge threw any means possible. The artifact contained in the basement was under constant lock and key since he was little. He dragged his best friends along and unlocked the door via finding a key ''cleverly'' hidden in a vase nearby when no servants where around. Jack and his friends found what looked like a really strange crystal attached to what looked like a large portal device with strange Celtic looking carvings. Jack was awed yet horribly confused at the same time at exactly why this object was in his family's basement. Despite the protests of his best friends Jack tried to determine what this artifact was by examining it with his hands.

This proved to be a mistake. When Jack traced his finger along one of the runes the portal suddenly activated. The portal glowed an eerie blood red before the other side of it was shown. What Jack and his friends saw on the other side of the portal was ghastly creatures that only appeared in nightmares. Two of such creatures flew out the portal, possessing the bodies of Jack's friends. Jack was horrified by what he was seeing and tried to turn the portal off by yanking the crystal out of the socket it was implanted in, hoping that it would shut off the portal and force the specters out of his friend's bodies. Unfortunately in the process of forcibly removing the crystal the crystal itself exploded outwards in magical energy and one of the larger shards impaled itself into Jack's upper chest, barely missing his heart. Despite that Jack accomplished his task of stopping the specters dead in there tracks. His friends regained control of there bodies and immediately started to carry him away in a panicked frenzy to get help. Jack lost consciousness.

After that he found himself in the hospital, with a doctor on the side of his bed. The doctor told him that the strange crystal shard was removed from his chest and his chest was successfully surgically repaired. Jack was also informed of some strange side-effects that occurred during the impalement and thereafter. His natural long brunette hair turned into icy blue with shades light green, light pink, purple, and white mixed in in it. His eyes also changed as well. His right eye turned into a murky light pink-purple hazel color while his left eye turned into an light green-cyan blue color. Jack stayed in the hospital for about 2 weeks. His body was revealed to regenerate faster then an normal humans usually would. Jack was immediately hugged by his friends and family after his release from the hospital. His unusual appearance did not upset them.

Jack himself was upset for the first time in a long time however. He lamented that he nearly possibly got his friends and himself killed by something that he should of guessed was dangerous considering that it was locked up. Jack found himself unhappy for a small amount of time for that situation. He also figured to himself that going to back to school at this rate would be pointless if his hair and eyes were permanently stuck like this. The schools he went too had strict rules against what they perceive as a display of an potenial rebellious nature and if he violated such rules he would be kicked out of the school which his parents had no time to fight and even then his appearance would likely scare a few students and cause more hell for him in school. No matter how hard he tried to dye his hair back to his natural color or wear colored contacts to look like he did before the incident it would just simply not work. The magical energy encompassing his body just seemed to eliminate any effort he made into hiding his new appearance.

Jack eventually gave up and asked his family if he could be homeschooled by an hired tutor. The old tutor whom he just called Mr. Prowler was interestingly enough a retired superhero whom worked in Titan City way back in the day. Mr. Prowler was a kind man whom taught Jack a great many things. Mr. Prowler despite his age and the fact he was actually an hero with no powers still managed to identify that Jack had gained powers from the incident by just simple observation. The air around jack would thicken and in some cases even crackle, sometimes Jack's eyes would glow incandescently for a small amount of time. Jack one day told Mr. Prowler that he simply has no clue what to do in his life anymore. His appearance clearly could not be changed which would made it incredibly hard for Jack to induct himself in society if he finished his education. Mr. Prowler responded with the offer of training him to be a superhero. Jack was surprised by this, assuming before that Mr. Prowler had no real want to associate himself with heroics considering his advanced age. Mr Prowler was amused by this, he told Jack that despite his age he could still give criminals and some low level villains a run for there money. Mr. Prowler trained Jack with multiple weapon styles and hand to hand styles in there free time. He also let Jack train himself with his own powers while he supervised him for a period of time.

Jack quickly finished school at the age of 15. He went and greeted his friends whom he still kept in contact with. He told them of his newfound powers, the training to control them and becoming an hero. Jack also told them thereafter of his plan to go to Titan City to build up his reputation as a young upcoming hero, finding no other realistic option for himself. Jack's friends were disheartened but supported his decision, as did his parents and his family's servants. A few months after Jack left for Titan City

Jack was given a large but limited amount of money and some supplies for his travels that he keeps in a backpack that he has no issues lugging around. Titan City took a few days just simply walking despite his body's enhanced capabilities. On the way Jack bought some cloths, his custom made trademark jacket. And he also bought some strange comfortable medical looking bandages in a store that claimed to sell superhero items. Jack maintained a hobby of art all throughout the years so he drew an very good drawing of the lower half of a smiling face resembling the Cheshire Cat's grin from Alice in Wonderland. He applied the new bandages as part of his career costume and occasionally hunted down criminals in the towns before he reached Titan City. The police in those towns codenamed him Enigma soon thereafter, he appeared on there own local news for a small amount of time. Jack actually rather liked the name the police gave him and adopted it.

Jack soon reached Titan City. His first destination was one of the worst parts of the city, Ironport. Ironport was a battleground of criminals, law enforcement, vigilantes, vigilante gangs, and heroes. Jack heard many stories of infamous villains, vigilantes, and gangs that appeared around those parts. That day he ended up seeing the frightening hero named Marionette restrain some criminals trying to mug some civilians on the streets. While he was traveling across the rooftops or flying above the streets he also briefly heard whispers of an infamous vigilante named Dread who usually left horribly mutilated bodies of drugpins, rapists, and other types of serious criminals in his wake while scaring others shitless.

Despite the bad area Jack hoped to start his career as a hero here. He figured this area of town would be the place to do it.

- Wears gray clean bandages around his lower face like a half-mask (that has a Cheshire cat grin inscribed into it) and wears similar grey bandages on his visible arms to his hands like gloves (despite that his own Aura won't harm him as long as he does not exceed his limits), he seems to do this for an intimidation factor then anything else

- Jack's powers are capable of giving him flight. He can charge his feet with aura energy to propel himself into the air in multiple directions. This along with his improved speed and agility and sometimes the usage of weapons makes it easy for him to fight in a fashion that could easily catch his enemies offguard

I would assume considering Ironport is such an hotspot for crime and violence that the Chaser operation might be temporary at the best so other threats to the operations don't get a chance to crack down on them.

Enigma just so happened to overhear some common criminals gossiping about the current activities of the underworld. One of the biggest ones I figured would be a drug haul.

Well I did mention that Enigma knows about Dread and Marionette in his backstory (I was also going to mention that he saw Deluder ''playing'' with a criminal but I doubt he would actually stick around for something about that).

So yeah the Blackwatch Squad/Members/whichever could still appear briefly....

In a corner, as far from the doors as she could get it, with some old shelving and discarded packaging walling it off a bit.

The former vacuum furnace is a cylinder, a bit over four feet in diameter and about six and a half feet long, with rounded ends, one of which is actually a door. It's set up off the ground by about 2 feet on its legs. The vacuum pump is about as big, but on the floor next to the cylinder, connected to the back by a big thick pipe. Normal pistol or hunting rifle ammunition wouldn't penetrate either of these, but AP or anti-materiel rounds from a high-powered weapon might, and there is the two foot gap underneath the furnace. The door on the furnace, BTW, is hinged on Shari's side, once the pressure equalizes enough it will swing open just a bit. And I forgot her vehicle, she must have parked elsewhere. ^_^

NP. That's why the capacitor bank, it dumped several megawatt-hours in at once. Also, contrary to what Shari thought, the transmitter part is just a side effect. More on this as the door to the furnace opens. ^_^

Ohhh, they're Black Rose dudes? Shari works for Black Harmony, AKA Adalina Niccoli (played by Gladatoria), a competitor of theirs. They may know Shari.

Hope you guys don't mind Colton sneaking around. He's a newbie hero-wannabe so don't expect much from him. He'll probably just watch, maybe knock out a straggler or 2. Who knows- I feel like his character is a bit of a wild card.

2 questions- About how many Black Rose members are there around Colton? & when you say heavy weaponry are we talking conventional or something a bit more scifi? Sorry I haven't done too much forum based RP so I want to make sure I position Colton properly. :D

edit: also not to be*that* guy but to Colton it was just the matter just how quickly their 'at rest heart rate' was in comparison to the others. Marking them as adolescent. He's a lot older any ways so I'd doubt he'd care to split hairs on who's a teen and who's not. To him they're just kids. Though I'm sure he's bound to notice that these kids just floated to the ground safely and probably aren't 'normal' kids... well let's hope he does. Still feeling this guy out.

Given that Unknown barely understands humans idea of Good or Evil as well this should be interesting. He's more neutral than one or the other only reason he goes after drug dealers is because of half remembered memories before the alien life form merged with him. The majority of the resulting merging is the alien awareness. That one reason he has a distorted view of how things are.

So, now Shari's just waiting for an answer to her offer of leaving within five minutes...

Shari doesn't know it yet, but her device will reappear in a few minutes somewhere near the orbit of Jupiter.

She's not visible to normal vision yet, but either five feet in or some way of seeing through cardboard will fix that. They would be able to hear her if she just started packing up. ^_^

She really wants to leave with the cold fusion plant and the capacitor bank; they took a while to cobble together. The furnace and the pump she can steal replacements for, if she doesn't decide the furnace is too small.

Yeap. She thought the device she'd got some pictures and scans of was a communications device. It was actually part of the lifepod's jump drive. ^_^

It also took the ends of the power leads and a section of the graphite board the device was sitting on, basically everything inside of a small sphere. Atoms intersected by this sphere got ionized as some of their electrons got taken away or left behind. In the rare cases where the [I]nucleus[/I] of the atom was on that sphere, some M was converted to E. Lesson: do not activate this type of jump drive in an atmosphere.

Sorry I been kind of quiet. Mom was in the hospital her kidneys are failing and just haven't been in a very active mood.

Hmmm whichever works. Enigma wouldn't have an issue with either chasing the criminals off or fighting them and capturing them. He just doesn't want those drugs on the streets considering what it does to people

Back story: Richard Stryker has spent most of his life as an orphan in the slums of New York. Due to his energy and frequent mood swings as a child, no foster family would keep him for long. At the age of 8, he was initiated into a gang called "The Red Daggers" who he came t know as his family. Because of his energy, size, and natural athletic ability he became an excellent thief and was always able to escape both the police and those he stole from.

At the age of 16, while sneaking through a house in a rich neighbourhood, a girl his age named Freya saw him. She didn't stop him, but she simply started a conversation with him. The conversation ran on for a while and they grew to enjoy eachother's company. When he left the house he also left the items he was going to steal. He returned to the house saying he'd forgotten his things, but the same thing happened again. He did this same thing every week for the next two years.

At age 18 he, along with many other members of The Red Daggers as well as a number of people around the world seemed to develop strange powers. He first noticed his when lightning bolts shot out of his fingers and coursed through his glass of water. That same year, he was ordered by the gang's boss "King Kobra" to kidnap Freya and hold her for ransom. When he refused, Richard was disowned by The Red Daggers and ordered killed. After narrowly escaping his now hostile family, he was too late to find Freya. She was already taken. He dedicated days and nights to finding her. When he finally did, he found her body next to her father's where the exchange was to take place. After seeing what a terrible drain on society The Red Daggers were, he vowed to not only rid the city of not just the Daggers, but every gang.

After a year of bloody conquest, he was eventually captured by a mysterious group that experimented on meta-humans and was locked away with 3 other metas. Stone, Inferno, and Blacklight were their codenames and his was Stryker. Together they were referred to as "Project Elemental". They were tested on vigorously for months until they eventually were able to work together to escape. They traveled together, running from city to city, helping people overcome superhuman threats for the next 2 years. They then decided to go their separate ways due to differing goals.

Now, the much more experienced Stryker finds himself in Titan City, where a vast majority of superpowered threats seem to occur lately. Here, he continues his mission to rid the world of it's most notorious gangs.

Notes:

-When not in his electrical form, Stryker is only as strong as an athletic human and is most vulnerable.
-He rarely makes a plan and is usually the first to charge into a fight .
-His hot headed attitude is both his greatest weakness and strongest asset as it keeps him alive as often as it gets him into trouble.
-Stryker is very sarcastic and never seems serious.
-He'll often act like your best friend if he is your ally even if he just met you.
- He never backs down from a fight and is too stubborn to lose, even if he is within an inch of his life
- Doesn't have a costume, but hides his face by using his electrical form.
- Tries to only use lethal force when absolutely necessary.

Unknown wouldn't smell human. He wouldn't think of it, nor I think the Silicon lifeforms that make up the collective be able to produce the right kind of scents. They replaced the cells in John Doe's body they didn't duplicate them. Nor will he seem human on infrared scanners or other such devices.

Apologies to all, but my emotional problems have resurfaced and I'm half a wreck. Thank you for letting me get a small bit in before letting you all down. You've got a great story going and I hope everyone will read it with a sense of wonder

Well I am now officially a high school graduate and I just went through Grad Night (my feet are really sore)

Not really sure what to think about that. It's likely I will never see most of my friends again and I don't have a girlfriend willing to stick with me. I might be posting a little infrequently for a while, trying to grasp somethings......

Eh, real life happens. No biggy.

RL stuff has a habit of making RP and writing creatively in general hard. I mean I always kinda knew that as I have seen countless good RPs or fanfics or the what not just dead stop or go on hiatus but I didn't understand it completely until I went through it myself.

I didn't even have enough time to rebrand/rework all of my OCs these days.

I fear I lost track of what threads were what and who I had where. Oh well.

Oh I remember now Misty Spirit was haunting the Wonderer's tower!

Mar and Ohmm were fun too. Both made to take advantage of the learning experience. Mar adapting to humanity, Ohm developing beyond a machine. Mar was in the young Wonderers given he was 16 more or less biologically.

Yeah that's it Ohm was normal Wonderers I remember now he found the snake spy drone and went nuts going after it. Made Ohm to replace Misty when she got involved with the school.

If he wants to be killed then the idea of armor kind of counter to that objective. From what you describe, I visualize someone like the Joker. Willing to do anything to push someone over the edge. Little or no regard for personal safety (after all he wants to be killed).

I would think he would play mind games pushing and prodding someone's mind till they snap.

Sounds like Faust would be on Freya's Naughty List, in Her aspect of Minor Death Goddess. If only Gydhja Evaine knew to check on that...

Speaking of such things I been toying with an idea about going after a group of Necromancers. Deep dark catacombs undead servents and dark magic abounds!
