I'd recommend sending Amerikatt a private message; that way you aren't just waiting on her to notice this post.

I wouldn't hold out much hope, though. My understanding is that as soon as they release the quadrupedal bodies, she's a player character. Maybe sooner. ^_^

has been on the CoT forums for almost two years now and she was on the old CoH forums
for many years prior to that. I think I drew her first fan art back in '09 ([url=http://is.gd/fF1RWQ]which became her avatar[/url])
as well as [url=http://cityoftitans.com/comment/62730#comment-62730]the one she is using[/url] currently on these forums but most all of the regular
artists here have drawn Amerikatt [url=http://www.deviantart.com/browse/all/?section=&global=1&q=amerikatt]in one form or other[/url] over the years.

DD is a member of DD's Breakfast Club and has a long and storied written history of who she is and
how she got to be where she is today. Having her drawn is fine (she did post refs in the art request
thread after all), and DD is usually cool with fan art of her character, but if you are going to do
something game changing (e.g. killing them, R rated naughty stuffz, or modifying their
allegiance/story arc) like putting that title card over the commissioned artwork you
should ask permission first and give people a chance to say yes or no.

Dee Dee Carter is DD's avatar of herself in the world of the game (as Brahn Fuhrnos/Christopher
Robin is mine). By not asking in advance you put her in the awkward position of having to
protest what should be a welcomed gesture and look bad for doing so or having to go
along with your induction of her character and be silent about it even though it is
upsetting her.

Going with the Nuclear option rarely solves anything. I don't think she is objecting to the team up or the
image you commissioned just the title card you applied to Alex Dai's work after the fact (DD correct
me if I am wrong here). Also the image is still up on DA so all of her objections to being depicted
as a member of a group that she did not willingly join still apply. To wit, if I knew nothing of DD's

I don't think WP is actually stealing your character so much as he's modifying her story by adding to the
artists creation without asking first. He didn't claim ownership of her or have Alex dress her up in
a Freelancers uniform (if one exists?) It's more a matter him wanting to have people join his
group without their permission than outright theft. I can understand how it could feel that way though.
