It was at that moment that the building alarms went off, since the fight was growing larger and ESSI had calculated a significant chance of it spilling into other buildings. Doors all over the school began to lock down and internal force fields popped into place, insulating each room as announcements rang over the intercom for students to stay in their rooms.
Andy was in Physical Education and Mr. Wright began hollering for them to get their asses on the bleachers. Andy looked to the bleachers, then to the Gym's entrance. Shaking his head, he shot off at a dead run for the door. He reached out with his temporal abilities, slowing the door's passage through time so that it he was able to leap through before it closed. He then headed for the front hall as he could hear the sounds of battle coming from that direction.

In the Danger Room control booth, Roxanne tapped several buttons on the console and a hologram of what was taking place in the front hall popped on. She took in the situation, them quietly excused herself. Outside of the control booth, runes flared to life around Roxanne as she ran down the hallway. Combat armor and weapons popped into existence, revealing her to be the vigilante and mercenary Nightstrike. She picked up the pace as she skirted the now locked-down gymnasium and headed for the front hall.

"How about a better offer? Instead, I will remove your bindings and erase your entire record and in exchange for a single task each month, you will be given boarding and necessities. Perhaps if you're good I can also arrange to allow you access to our resources with permission."
The chance of her going for it was slim, Nightmare knew that, but he also knew how well the cult reacted to outsiders.

Something stupid is going on and no one will care if I am suddenly not here for awhile. Erase my records, get this band off and repayment will be negotiated to something fair."
Melody groaned as she heard stuff slamming down. "Hurry up if you are going to do something other than look like a Daft Punk reject."

Mr. Proudfoot frowned. Well that was a low future chance. He had barely looked at this possible future this morning, it was so remote. Johnathan must have taken a canadian quarter instead of the american one for his drink last week.
Mr. Proudfoot stood and straightened his tie. Tucking his shirt in he made sure his loafers were clean. The android copied mutations and technological powers. He was neither.
The teacher calmly walked out his classroom as the security doors and fields started to raise. A few minor teleports later he was standing in front of the violent android.
"There was a 85% chance I would have been asked to intercede here. However that future option required you to hurt more than one student. Since I have a very wonderful lecture planned about how Helen of Troy was actually fairly unattractive planned for tomorrow I will have to ask you to leave either as a whole, or if you require, in parts."
Mr. Proudfoot never lost his smile. Any nanites that tried to copy his makeup would suddenly age, de-age, vanish, or not read anything at all with no rhyme or reason behind it. Proudfoot wa a natural temporal being. He didn't have any powers to activate, nor a genetic makeup that made a lick of sense to conventional science.

Misty cursed how was she going to fight when it had a force field. Looking at the power lines she snapped them sending the cables to the android... and the high voltage energy in them.

Roxanne's rapid pace to the front hall where the android is attacking would be met by Kestrels, and Principal Ellis, who happens to be rapidly consulting with ESSI as they race toward the scene. "It can copy abilities and adapt in combat? ESSI, try to put it in a stasis field until we arrive!" With that, Janet's eyes begin to glow a striking cobalt, as she prepares herself to offensively use her powers.
ESSI promptly begins to contain the android in a power dampening field, her abilities produced through technology alone, having no powers to necessarily copy.

Rosella blinks in alarm at that, instantly going intagible herself, fading through the wall to reach Connor and Misty, hissing in inquiry quietly invisibly. "What can it do, and how do we take it down?"

Taking advantage of the situation, and refusing to be bored, Magnus has donned a leather and steel skintight suit. The suit is padded with enough leather to completely mask his noticeable features while still portraying him as being skinny, with black steel as the outermost layer. His mask is that of an ever-smiling ghoul with completely black eye-sockets, his mask also extends into a hood that connects to the second layer of leather and covers his head and neck. Dotted all over the suit are little demonic smiley faces.
He is flying towards a nearby bank, breaking in through the ceiling, after landing inside the lobby he screams: "Welcome to the greatest show on earth!" and precedes to smash his way to the vault, not with fists, but with gravitic fields that are just pulling everything apart.

The EMP burst was deflected by her internal shielding - conductive mesh protecting her control runs for just that sort of attack, dispersing the energy as heat into her cooling system. Lexi sneered. It was quite good, considering it was her first. "Says who? What makes a machine like you or me or ESSI different from machines like my moms or any of the other people here? Silicon or nanoscale rod logic or DNA, what does [I]type[/I] of matter matter where something that isn't material is concerned? Where is your [I]evidence?[/I] Or are you only repeating what was programmed into you?"

Connor watches the machine for a few moments, thinking about its displayed copying abilities, then clears his throat.
"...Maybe it'll be a bit too simple, but depending on how thorough its mimicking is, maybe it would be possible to have it emulate Misty. From there, you and I might have a chance at locking it down. Almost anything I can do was crafted for the sake of getting rid of ghosts."

The last thing CyberKat expected to happen was to have the android produce a energy shield that matched her own. Due to that, she was rewarded with a solid punch to her abdomen, sending her sprawling backward onto the ground. The armor held, but it still felt like getting hit by a truck. Rising to her feet, CyberKat regarded the android warily.
[I]"Duplicates powers, eh? Lets see what you are made of,"[/I] she thought. She activated her visor and quickly scanned the android, noting that it was primarily composed of nanomachines of some type.
But then ESSI placed the android into a stasis field of some type to disable it. CyberKat stepped forward to join with some of the other individuals surrounding the huge android.
"If someone has an EMP, then we could fry the whole thing. That is probably the safest option," she stated.
CyberKat had considered employing her laser beam emitters, but the risk of collateral damage to the building and occupants was too great at the moment.
Lexi shook her head. "I'd rather not. Not until I find out if it is a person or just a tool. So which is it, copy-cat? Do you think, or do you just run a program?"

After finally reaching the vault, Magnus makes a small field with a strong pull inside the door, creating a hole large enough for him to gently fly through, after throwing the new ball of steel into a gaurds stomach that is... after a few more seconds the vault is flying out of the bank, with its pilot having no idea of how its flying slowly towards the school. "Now that was a fun heist, a little disappointing, but you can't expect a shiny new spandex clad toy to show up every single time."

Since the situation seemed to be handled for the moment, Nightstrike decided to stay out of the way. Stepping out into the courtyard, she turned and leapt up onto a walkway covering, then settled down to keep an eye through one of the windows that looked into the entrance hall.

Magnus was sick of being unable to see where his new bank vault was going, mainly due to how the gravity field had to be centered at the corner between ceiling and back wall. "This was a really stupid idea..." Magnus said, while being crunched up in said corner. He decided to go outside and steer the vault from there. The ground in front of the school shook for a second, as a bank vault was allowed to crash into its front lawn. "Oww... that might have been stupid as well."

"Copy me? Ha... However I wonder if it would say scan Melody and her special bracelet. Then have ESSI turn it up to full juice. If that thing copies everything then it would also copy the system and pick up the signal. Then again if it chooses what to copy. We need someone with really crappy powers, OH where the fish girl she can't survive long without her water breathing unit right?"

After poking his head out of the vault, and realising where he was, Magnus in all his powers of foresight decided to to speak in a slightly above average vocal noise level while punishing himself for immense stupidity. "Freaking idiot! Why would I not look where I'm freaking going?!?!? Now look at where I am! Oh crap, I should've been more quiet..."

Looking at the vault then at Connor then at the vault and the fellow peaking out. "Okay I know I'm a tad of an Airhead... but that guy just won the crown."

The android observed as Proudfoot teleported in front of him, readying an attack, but was trapped inside of a stasis field by ESSI, making it frozen in time and completely harmless, thus it was unable to answer any questions Lexi had.
Proudfoot "grabbed" the stasis field. Time is what his people did. He gently started pushing the field out the door. "You know this future was so much better than the one where you had avoided this field. You would have ruined my tie." As he nudged the field outside he beckoned with his ear for ESSI to follow. he would push the stasis field while Essi followed and maintained it. 'Could one of you students please tell Principal Ellis to call the TCPD, they will need to bring a time capsule, type 4 I believe. That one that projects inner stasis.
Proudfoot paused at the door looking at the bank vault on the lawn. "They will also need a patty wagon."

Melody looked around. Both entities had left. She still had another three hours before she could leave school and go back to the half way house she called home. That Nightmare guy was probably full of crap anyway.

Hearing the voices of students and teachers alike, Magnus decided to try and get as far away as possible. Magnus and all the money and precious metal started floating to the ceiling as gravity was turned upside down. Patches of dirt and grass began to be torn out of the ground, as the vault was lifted. But not being one to make the same mistake twice, Magnus left the vault so he could at least see where he was going.
"Lets not be rowdy here people.... I'm just going to dump this into the ocean. No need for alarm... please don't hurt me." Magnus said as he left the vault and attempted to fly away.

Alicia sighed quietly as ESSI took care of the matter, and took a few moments to stretch after being thrown into the building, a few onlookers staring at her with expressions ranging from startled to 'oh, this sort of thing again? They should really put regulations on this sort of activity.'
After limbering up and calming down, she rose up into the sky over the rooftops, watching the school and the area around it to ensure that nothing else was amiss; if there was any more to that sudden attack, it would be worth knowing about.

Mr. Al-Zawari had finally made it to the front hall just as the android was being led outside. That situation seemed to be under control, so he turned to the bank vault. Reaching out with his telekinetic abilities, he latched onto the hood of the boy that was trying to float away. "And just where do you think you're going, young man?"

After noticing that more had happened on the school's lawn while she was away, Alicia calmly drifted down towards the building, landing lightly on the grass by the bank vault, examining it for a moment before placing both hands on it. She begins to rock it back and forth, eventually tipping it to the point where she is able to slip underneath and grab it near the middle with both hands. The brightness of her eyes flares up, and with a pained grunt, she begins to push upwards, bearing the vault on her back, Atlas-style.
"...Where should this be going," she asks, her voice slightly stressed, yet still emotionless.

Magnus is pulled towards Mr. Al-Zawari along with his hood, due in part to him holding onto the mask in an attempt to not be discovered for as long as possible. "To dump this into the ocean..."

"No, I think we should just wait for the police to arrive, since they will no doubt be tracking the locator beacon that is placed in the walls of ALL bank vaults in Titan City, just for the express purpose of catching idiots such as yourself." Mr. Al-Zawari said, just as police sirens became audible.
Within a few moments, no less than six cars, a SWAT van, and a COPS hover-transport arrived in front of the school. They deployed in rapid order, drawing down on pretty much everyone in the parking lot. A TCPD lieutenant stepped forward with a bullhorn. "Everyone, hands in the air!"
By then, Mr Al-Zawari had reeled in Magnus and was tussling with him to remove his hood. "Young man, you are in an untenable situation. Surrender now. Ms. Crane, I would suggest putting the vault down before one of these uniformed and/or armored men does something impulsively stupid."

"My identity is publicly known throughout various law-enforcement agencies. They are aware that if I were being a hindrance, I would already be incapacitated." She hefts the vault slightly, watching the policemen calmly just in case she would have to comply anyway. "Once they know where this came from, I will help them put it back."

"Well I guess every villain has their first blunder eventually... or at least thats what my dad says." Magnus jumps backwards, away from the strange man with telekinesis, unfortunately for Magnus, that motion tore off his mask. "Crap..."

Proudfoot had read Magnus's near future and a few of his long term possibilities. "Al-Zawari, I believe your race would call him 'mostly harmless'."
The large rabbit humanoid waved as the police came up the lawn. "Hello Officer Dawnson, how is your mother?" The officer looked mildly perpelexed. "Uh, good I guess, I just visited her this morning." Proudfoot nodded happily. "Just remember she likes the red flowers not blue." That should keep him from the traffic accident that was within the 95th percentile of happening tomorrow morning. The officer nodded, he had heard of the Rabbit that helped out his department from time to time, this must be that guy.
"Can you push that uh... robot?.. into the unit sir?" the officer opened up a strange looking box. Proudfoot motioned for ESSI to follow as he nudged the stasis field into the boxes opening.

"Harmless!?!? But I robbed a bank without incident... until I landed here. So I guess this is when I go into the cop car right? Or whatever else you want to do with me, since I'm enrolled here." Magnus's jaw was shivering, much like it would if he was cold.

Nasir floated the mask to one of the police officers that was moving in to take the boy into custody. The officer held out an evidence bag and Nasir dropped the mask into it. "You committed grand theft and extensive destruction of property, young man. I'm sorry, but we have no say over your fate, at this point."

Magnus, now smiling as everything became lighter began to float slightly, then ascended faster to the sky as everybody else also started to fly. "Welcome to Zero-G fools! Now it's time for everybody to part." As cop's flew and teachers and students alike began to be thrown into walls and nearly crushed with debris, Magnus took to the sky. "Prison is not the place for me, I'm sure you'll agree." He said to the nearby Officer Dawson, who began to fall back towards earth along with his team.

Mr. Proudfoot sighed. Well that childs future did not end up back in school for a good while. It was one thing to get into a fist fight or break some property, it was quite another to assault officers of the law with intent.
A few well placed teleports saw Proudfoot and any non self levitating person standing firmly planted on the lawn. With ESSI finishing securing the android in the TCPD stasis pod Mr. Proudfoot turned to go back into school.

Magnus left, flying towards the sea. After awhile he dropped straight into the ocean, turns out there's a magical evil base under the docks.

After a few moments of confusion due to the sudden shift in gravity, Alicia managed to get her bearings. Righting herself before pushing the safe into the ground, she shot up into the air, watching the aspiring supervillain shoot off. As he begins to dive into the sea, she rockets off, bursting through the speed barrier in order to catch up and see if she can follow.

When under the water, Magnus knocks on the front door, the door opens and Magnus swims inside. After going through the cave for a little bit, avoiding traps and saying hello to the many henchmen, Magnus finds the central room, which is a strange sort of fleshy material with books piled high on dark tables. "Hey dad, I'm back, nearly succeeded with a bank robbery and possibly killed a few cops... I'm not proud of that last bit, I just like taking stuff."

ESSI, after conferring with Principal Ellis and maneuvering the android into the TCPD paddy wagon, releases the school from lockdown, with the holographic AI announcing.
"Students and Staff, please know that the current situation is handled, and you now may proceed in a orderly fashion of course to 2n Period."

Groaning as she stands after Magnus's lovely little gravity flux, Rose moves to assist Connor and anyone else with aid standing, and after noting that the Android has been taken care of, along with Magnus, she makes her way back to the Danger Room.

Garrett, who had spent the last few minutes lazing about the Courtyard, blinks as he spots Nightstrike enter to keep watch, having recognized her as being a rather ambiguous vigilante and mercenary. Deciding that if she was let this far into the school she was not a threat and supposed to be here, he waltzes out of Courtyard, offeering with a grin.
"Keep up the good work, uhm...ma'am." With that, he spots Andy heading back to the Gym, and waves at him, offering a smile. "Hmmm, someone should have been in a classroom." He smiles, adding. "Don't worry, I'm in the same boat."

Melody finally heard the security doors retract. She noted the time it took for them to be put into place and brought back up again. It seemed they were ona bit of a delay in case whatever happened was just a super powered growing pain. Good thing for her.
Mel hummed and shifted the floor back setting the door jam loose so she could leave the room. "Lunch time!" her stomach agreed as it rumbled. Her day had been gloriously unproductive so far. No wonder her hissy fit didn't land her actually in a suppression chamber, this place was attacked by nutjobs every twelve minutes.
"Maybe after lunch I will find the science dorks." Mel didn't trust that Nightmare was going to do anything useful for her. He was a creeper anyway, but best to leave that door open right now in case he actually had an ability worth using.
Mel quietly blew open a few lockers until she found one with a lunch in it. "Jackpot!" Closing the locker door she headed towards the cafeteria.

After a couple seconds the crystal speaks. "Worthy" It says and just, after that purple lightning bolts shoot from it and into Magnus, who is raised from the ground, unable to do anything about his situation.

"I don't think that's yours..." a voice rang out behind Melody. There was an odd fleeting movement on the side where she held the lunch bag, then it disappeared from her hand.
From off in another direction, the crinkle of paper was heard. "Wanna know how I know it's not yours? Cause it's mine." The speaker was revealed to be Andy, who was in the process of extracting a red apple from the bag. He bit into it with a crunch, then smirked in Melody's direction.
Having heard about Melody through the grapevine, he altered the temporal flow of the bag and its contents so that if she tried to yank them away, they would move 100x slower than normal. It was also handy for keeping his lunch fresh.

Still inside the building, Lexi and her mothers had limits on how high they could go, and so how high they could fall. They also had the advantage of several seconds warning each way, courtesy of Marianne's sixsight. It would have been more, but her senses were still reeling from having seen The Rabbit. Millicent had gotten lots of good readings on the Copy Cat. And Lexi had decided that she did want to go to school here. She contacted ESSI for a list of classes that were available. Already having her GED, she decided to concentrate on classes that interested her. Physics. History. Literature. Music. And the program for young heroes...

"Fair enough." Melody lit the bag on fire... not the contents, just the bag, so he would have to carry his lunch parts. It wasn't exactly a malicious burning, she could have fireballed the whole thing, more like admitting she was wrong, while still being a moderately friendly? asshole.
She then smacked a few more lockers and found a lunchbox, it was pink. "This isn't yours." She grinned and took it.

Garrett, having been beside Andy, blinks at the display, before turning to Melody, debating. Knowing that the locker belonged to a rather plump girl who had a rather nasty streak of mooching of of other's lunches, he almost supported her decision, she DID stand to lose SOME (All) weight. However, he knew firsthand what it was like to not have a lunch, and sighed as he stepped into the lion's den, by offering to Melody.
"Tell you what, since I can tell you right now that the lunch contains a crappy artificial apple juice, a past spoiled banana and a jelly sandwich that has seen WAY too many open bags, I will buy you a actual fresh lunch from the Cafeteria here. The food is actually pretty good, and I'll lead you to the Science Classes afterwards, though I have Dance then, so watch at your pleasure, I really don't care either way."

Andy grinned back at her and calmly patted the bag out, as it had been burning 100x slower than normal. When the fire was gone, the bag was barely even singed. "Fair enough." he echoed.
He looked at the pink lunchbox and it's emptied contents. The items began fixing any damage and jumping back into the lunchbox as they all traveled backwards in time. He even increased the flow of reverse-time around the banana so that it was soon no longer spoiled. The lunchbox then closed itself and hopped back into the girl's locker.

Waltzing into the cafeteria, he found a two seater table near the windows looking into the Courtyard, plopping his satchel on it, before heading into the serving area, grateful for being so early that they were among the first to arrive.
Grabbing a tray and tossing one to Mel with about as much caring as expected, he ordered his food with a genuine smile, the contents chosen slices of pot roast, homemade mashed potatoes (That actually, to his senses, were not artificial), and buttered honey rolls.
Topping the order off with a self served caramel mocha that he may or may not have been allowed to order given the sign that says 'Staff Only, he turns to Melody, musing.
"Choose whatever you want, the selection as you can see is pretty much everything you can imagine..plus uhm, that crap over there." Gestures to a vegetarian pizza, those sick bastards. With that said, he waits to see what Melody chooses, as he ponders just what she'll do next, being as inspiringly wild as she is.

ALX nodded and walked around the van. When he was out of sight he set a small silver ball on the ground. The ball sprouted spider like legs and a small camera eye opened. "Your task is to infiltrate and hack into the ESSI system. Self destruct if detected." The drone then moved scurrying across the road and along the side of the building seeking an open window or secondary entrance. There were just too many people at the main entrance.
ALX then looked to the school. One of the fighters was the finished product he had help build. A slight smile as he sent a signal out to the artificial bones he crafted. If they haven't been fully checked and cleared there should be a few nanites still within the structures. The signal would reactivate them and they set out to record and send Lexi schematics to him. Of course if those nanites weren't there he wouldn't get a reply to the activation signal.

Misty looked at Connor "Yeah the last thing I need is a haunt mate." She looked around the entrance and focused on the car she clearly was straining herself as she moved it out of the entrance and back to the road. "Boy am I hungry I could eat a horse. Er well at least 1.21 Gigawatts."

ALX nodded not getting a signal. It wasn't a big deal though he wouldn't mind seeing Lexi's schematics. The Drone was following it's orders and slipped into a classroom that had a window open. Then it scurried to the ceiling where it cut a hole large enough for it to climb through. The angle of the cut made it so the section wouldn't fall and once the probe was in the ceiling it replaced the missing piece. Then it scanned the area looking for power lines, cables and other such items that could lead it to the ESSI main system.

Melody made sure to grab the most expensive options regardless of personal preference. She was pretty much a black hole for food so while everything might not be her favorite it would cost captain green thumb a couple bucks at least. She ungraciously elbowed some tool out of the way (please see your average 12 year old who was minding their own business.) and took the seat he was planning on sitting at, again, mostly to just be an overbearing ass. She set into her food with about as much grace as a drunk rhino.

Rose slides, via intangibility, back into the Danger Room after ensuring that others were alright. Walking to Toni with a revealed expression but remembering that Elia had also decided to impose a lesson: there are times for professionalism and times for affection; she settled for a warm hug and stepped back to the simulation circle. Once all were situated, she calls out to Roxanne.

The probe was slightly smaller than a baseball easily avoided the security guards given the disruption at the front hall. There was a chance it was spotted climbing into a room and up into the ceiling. Now it realized it was to high up the cables it followed snake downward and right below it was the office. ESSI hub must be in a basement or sub basement chamber. The probe retracted the thin camera cable and headed for a remote area of the ceiling. It would have to sneak down to the basement later tonight.

Connor enters the Danger Room, and plops back into his seat with a sigh as Rose is congratulated and sent to her own seat. After she and Toni whisper to each other, he shrugs and responds to her question. "Whomever's left, I suppose. Though after that commotion earlier, I can't really remember who that is."

Portia stood and reached the gym floor with a few long-legged strides. She smoothed her flowing skirt, then stepped past the safety line and looked up at the observation booth. "I'll go next." she said with a smile.
She held out an arm towards the nearest water fountain. Water vapor in the air condensed to form a finger which pushed on its activation button. Its nozzle spurted forth a flow of water that she immediately took control of. The water streamed across the space and formed a number of fist-sized spheres that orbited her body in a complex pattern resembling a double helix. She smiled again. "Whenever you're ready."

Misty ended up in the office. Connor words echoed in her mind. "Yeah I know Conny.. but can't fight bad memories with out making new ones. I need those new ones to be good, to do that I need something to look forward to. I need hope." So the question was how to make yourself known to those who have no spiritual sense. Well there alway potergisting, but that has it's flaws. Too much and someone would try to use proton packs and trap you, or banish you. For now she watched.

The probe started removing the protective layers of the cameras cables. Once some of the wires were exposed it connected trying to get a signal feed and see what was being sent via that camera. This might be detectable, it basic programing calculated the chances in acceptable risk range.

Cherlynn Noble walked down the hall looking rather lost, glancing down at the packet of paperwork she needed to turn into the office, then up at the hallway "so were is the office? I have found court yards, security gates, a combat simulator, no freaking office" she grumped as she kept walking, one hand rising up to fiddle with her new bit of "jewelry" around her neck, power inhibitors, force fields, rapid reaction forces, glad to know I will be getting the best education prison can buy she thought with a sigh! well its better then making the local volleyball team glow in the dark which was the alternate option. she was rather tall for a teenage girl at five foot eleven, her build mostly hidden beneath a Baycity Bombers rugby hoodie which either marked her as someone new to the city or who just disliked there local sports teams what could be seen was her legs as she was wearing tight fitting jeans and they had you assuming she was about a hundred and fifty pounds and in rather good shape. she had the hood down, her short black hair showing, her skin was slightly tanned but in the way of "I have horrible pasty white skin I just suffered through enough sunburns to be slightly crisp". her eyes where a stark almost toxic green right on the boarder of unnatural. as she walked one hand was inside the hoodie pocket the other grasping the paperwork, it was covered in a thin mechanix glove. she looked right, then left shrugged and turned right and kept on walking.

With that, he walked off in the same direction as Cher, since that was the direction he'd been headed in the first place. They had had a big test in 2nd period today and Andy had finished it quickly. The teacher hadn't made any other plans for the period, so anyone that got done was allowed to go early. Andy had been headed up to the courtyard opposite the office to get in some meditation before the rest of his classes.

Alicia had ultimately delayed heading back to the Danger Room right away, instead deciding to walk around the school for a while, and get her emotions back under control. She kept her hands pocketed, noting that despite still being taller than the other students, her lose-fitting clothes managed to obscure enough of her form to avoid most of the odd looks that she usually received. Her aimless walking took her past the office, which another student appeared to be approaching, clutching a series of papers in her arms. Alicia looked up, watching the girl with slightly glowing eyes, as if debating whether or not to speak up.
"Principal Ellis is not in her office right now," she finally says in a flat, toneless voice, entirely devoid of emotion, "do you need to talk to her?" The only way that one could tell that she was asking a question was the words that she used. Her tone itself did not even fluctuate, not even for a second.

Alicia drew in a sharp breath as the paper hit the back of her head, her reflexes kicking in for a split second. Almost instinctively, she spun around with surprising speed, crossing her arms in front of her, as if blocking. With explosive force, blue energy blows through the wall behind them, punching a hole through the wall into a classroom on the other side. A few students lean in from their desks on the sides of the hole, looking through to see exactly what had happened.
For a fleeting moment, Alicia's concentrated expression turns to one of complete embarrassment, then quickly switches to a neutral expression as she slowly lowers her arms, looking down at the now incinerated piece of paper. She remains silent, not even looking at the girl she was just talking to.

At the power-collar comment, Alicia reflexively tugs at her loosely-fitting sleeves, hiding some sort of metal bracer-like objects that had started to poke out from under them. "I know where she is, and I can take you to her, if you want," she says after another moment of silence, almost as if she were afraid to speak up. Quickly, she moves out of the view of the students looking through the hole, casting wary glances back at it as she makes her way over. When she stands by the bench, she avoids eye-contact entirely, opting instead to stare at the floor.

She nods, tugging on her sleeves again until they reach down to her palms. "My name is Alicia Crane," she says, her voice still emotionless as she turns, and makes her way out into the courtyard as they head towards the Danger Room. After another brief period of silence, she speaks up again. "What is it that you do," she asks, though her lack of tone makes her phrase come out as more of a statement. If her voice was not completely flat, it might have even come off as somewhat demanding.

Alicia managed a twitch of a smile in response, appearing amused for a brief moment. Her tone of voice, however, still does not change. "Although height is a factor, I am mainly banned because I am nearly incapable of keeping a ball intact when hitting it. Additionally, I am sure that your radiation will not be a problem for me." She pauses again, looking over her shoulder at Cher for a moment as they reach the other end of the courtyard. She pushes the door open as lightly as she can, almost as if she were consciously trying to be gentle, before continuing through the door beyond. "I envy your ability to be so seemingly comfortable with your situation."
