For some reason I just have this image in my head of all the devs being on standby with riot gear and fire extinguishers while they watch how the servers react to the store fully opening and everyone downloading the AV builder at once X3

Dynamic Duos: Second account load will happen after we have the code generator system operational - ideally, we'll put a one time use code in your vault, you give it to your partner, and they load it in and it links them.
That being said, you should be fine during this stage of the process - Duos will be relevant at Titan Chat, not Titan Create.

Also had problems with Discord, until I signed in to their site in the browser. Worked like a charm after that.
As for this update, huge excitement with a bit of disappointment. Really exciting that we can finally get something hands-on, but disappointing that not all actually in place. Well, I can wait a few more days if needs be.
So more Moguls are or aren't a future possibility? I only ask because the email sent out to Mogul backers said they definitely wouldn't be offered in the Second Chance store. Personally I don't mind either way, but you might want to clarify before people make assumptions and get upset.

And CONGRATS to the entire MWM team and thanks from this CoX vet.
I'm so beyond excited for everyone on the forums and everyone in the dev team for you to show off what you've been working so hard on. We can't wait to get our hands on it, and I'm sure you can't wait for this initial chaos to pass, but please take it easy and know we'll be here ready to play as soon as we get the chance. I do have a question though...how will the Titan:Create token/voucher/etc be delivered to original KS supporters? Do we have to create a new account? If so, how will that new account tie back to our original KS account?
The announcement today reads "Whether you want to contribute to the Second Chance or just claim your Avatar Builder from your KS donation, you’ll start by making a new account at the the Missing Worlds Media webstore."

Another thing to keep in mind, is that some existing Moguls have their buildings in city areas that will not be implemented until much later in the development cycle. Selling more, newer Moguls a long time before existing Moguls get their buildings is likely to cause some hard feelings.

I already paid for a Mogul in the first Kickstarter, so I'm not angling to get one, I promise. But literally not even a week ago MWM sent out an update email to Mogul backers that said:
[i]This was a special offer we made to high-level backers early in the formation of this game, and Moguls will not be offered in the Second Chance campaign, because it was a special reward made only for original contributors.[/i]
I just think a consistent message is the best way to avoiding hard feelings.

I’m confused what makes Mogul constitute being a “Special offer made for high-level backers during the formation of the game.” and not I Know a Guy. If anything I would think I Know a Guy would be that but moreso, yet it’s ok to offer it but not Mogul, even though it was higher level than Mogul?

I Know a Guy was a tier reward, whereas Mogul was an add-on, so I Know a Guy doesn't include a Mogul.

I have to say I am pretty surprised you guys decided to add the backer total and raised funding total at the top of the store page. I didn't think we'd be privy to that kind of information...but I have to say I like that. I'm going to keep a spreadsheet and update randomly simply out of curiosity and im a finance/excel guy..im not surprised that the KS average per backer was $136 and the average of new, uniquely second chance backers is at $539/backer with the first 16 backers. I REALLY hope that average holds. I won't complain if that gets taken off the site, I understand the need to sometimes keep that kind of information private, but I'm going to track it as long as it stays there.
I know I'm well-known as a vocal fan/critic, but i've always planned on playing and supporting this team. Today's release turned out better than the team led us to believe as all backers (old and new) can get the AB immediately. I truly hope this update gets spread far and wide to get the funds needed to really get MWM what it needs...the dedicated, full-time coders and whoever else to push this project to the next level. I, personally, may not donate quite yet...but I do plan on it long before Issue #1.
EDIT: It looks like the # of Backers numbers on each of the tiers may be just a little off...for example the $50 tier says 21296 backers but the top shows 5,031 backers (as of this post).

Apparently Dynamic Duo isn't active during this first phase. I guess you and your wife will have to take turns with the Avatar creator. Roll for Initiative! ;)
Finally! Starting the download now... Unfortunately there isn't anything for me to upgrade to at the moment so I don't know if I'll be donating again. Registered lethal weapon is only for weapons, not costume parts and I use fists as my weapon. Give me a Mini-Mogul or something to donate towards, damnit. Let me throw hundreds of dollars at you.

As of today, there is no scheduled "end" to Second Chance. But it functionally ends with Issue 1, the complete game.
