Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

There have been forum goers that single quote then other people interject not fully understanding the context of the conversation. Then the thread gets further derailed. It (chained quotes) serves to keep the conversation focused.

Solution: add positional

Solution: add positional sliders much like body size sliders to certain costume parts so we can adjust them. As it stands now you already have them automatically adjust with the physical characters body so if people are really this worried about clipping this works for everyone.

Don’t really care though so long as we dont have half our belt clipping through a skirt or something.

Question: If your character

Question: If your character will be wearing a mask why put on a beard? If you change your costume to without a mask, then have your beard on?

Or am I missing something here...

As you'll have different

As you'll have different costume slot, i think you could do one with the beard without a mask, and one without a beard with a mask and then you can turn on the one or the other :)

I don't see why one couldn't

I don't see why one couldn't have either a beard or a mask or both. Not all masks cover the lower face...

Managing clipping is super

Managing clipping is super low priority for my personal gaming enjoyment in most MMOs. I easily overlook it while I'm blasting bad/good guys to oblivion. As noted above, some folks even use it to create a whole new costume look that may not be possible without clipping. So clipping isn't universally unhelpful. As long as clipping is addressed "in the long run" I think that would be satisfactory. Getting the game up and running seems like a stronger priority even if it may be slightly less efficient to address clipping later down the road. Of course, "slightly" is a vague term. If we had actual estimates about the opportunity cost of not worrying about clipping vs addressing it now that might be helpful.

As long as costume pieces don

As long as costume pieces don’t clip with body parts (or, if it’s part of a set, the rest of the set), I can manage (unless, of course, you put a shirt over jeans and the waistband of the jeans is poking through the shirt, or things like that). Reasonable exceptions apply, such as if a piece is supposed to be implanted cybernetics, of course.

I think the only time

I think the only time clipping ever bothers me is if it's really disorted looking. Like capes or hair getting caught in a piece of clothing or the body. Sometimes I even like playing with clipping to create something that's not an actual option. Like combining various headpieces (glasses, helmets, hats) to look like it's a whole headpiece.

For me, no clipping.

For me, no clipping.

Not because the game looks unprofessional.
Not because the game looks incomplete.
Not because it looks silly. Sorta.

I pick hair/capes/clothes to create a look. If something clips, I won't use it because then it takes away the immersion/fantasy of my creation.
And some poor developer worked on it only to have it discarded.

We could always have an

We could always have an option to have slide bars for some hair/body parts such as Black Desert character creator to try to relocate those spikes getting out of the hair. Or maybe an option to toggle on/off oír helms/hats. Always a hat will be a sacrifice for a cool anime hair for me so it’s a difficult question.

During our re-work with costume data, we have been running into the question lately:

How much clipping is REALLY important for the player?

When Champions Online "Unlocked" and gave the players the ability to clip multiple pieces together, it proved rather successful than a failure, and we were thinking about the prospects of having a 100% clipping-allowed Character Generator rather than one that has occasional limits

Let me give you an example:

You (t.Player) choose a hairstyle for your character and you want to put on a hat. But your hair clips through the piece! Now you, as the player, may have to look for more appropriate hairstyles that will not poke through your hat. Is this an acceptable scenario for you?

Another one.

So yes, let me hear your thoughts.

I will personally be monitoring this thread as well for potential responses. Please keep it civil. :)

Honestly - I think its resonable to expect me to accomadate stuff like physical feature clipping
In your examples - I think its realistic to expect me to remove the hair.

A example of a issue from the character creator though - if I am wearing a armored chest and a trench coat - currently the vest is clipping through the coat - it defeats the purpose )as both are in different locations - but they overlap in others)

In your example - both the hair & the hat are expected in the same place (on the head) but in the other case - my Trench coat is EXPECTED to be worn over other cloth (I am not expecting to be bare-chested) I could not imagine someone trying to wear a mowhawk under a baseball cap...the two conflict.

the answer to the first is

the answer to the first is this is unacceptable, there should be a system that cuts the hairstyle in half when a hat is put on, it won't look perfect when you do but this isn;t going to be a perfect game. To second question, it depends on the mask, if the mask doesn't cover the mouth there should be no clipping with the beard, if it does then it should.
