I think this question should be read as 'What year will it be, in the internal chronology of Titan City, when we begin playing the game?'
In other words, will we be projected into the future, the past, or an alternate present?

I would like to know about Super Teams and to make it easy I'm going to "softball" as much as I can.
1. At what level can you make a Super Team?
2. What can you tell us about the options of a Super Team leader? (Things like invite or base editing permissions in CoH)
3. Will Super Teams in CoT have ranks like those in CoH did?
4. How many members can a Super Team have, and is the limit by character or account?
5. We know that 2 (or more) Super Teams can ally together in a League. Is there an upper limit to how many other Super Teams can be League'd (sp?) with? (In CoH an SG could only coalition with 10 other SGs.)
6. Is there anything about Super Teams and or Leagues that you want to tell us that we haven't asked?
Is a Super Team really what they are calling a Super Group?

When will you have a solid plan in place for making the transition from the current business model/paradigm of "We're an all-volunteer organization. We intend to make a game." to the intended future one of "We're a professional for-profit game company. We sell a game called City of Titans and have servers currently up and running, people making new content, and people troubleshooting technical problems, etc." ?
When can you show us a video of an avatar in full "we used the costume creator to make this guy, and this is exactly what the game will have" mode, including "final" versions of color pallette, textures, spandex, gloves, boots, helmets, etc, props that don't look glued to the guy's hand, including smooth animations of powers being used with actual, finished, just-like-the-game-is-going-to-have particle effects? Note that I'm not talking about "here's a few things to show what we can do" as proof-of-concept, I'm talking "Here's the honest-to-goodness lightning blast effects suite, in all it's glory. Pretty sweet, right?"
How much of the actual city map that is intended for launch is currently done? Do those maps have as many nooks and crannies in them as the maps in CoX had (Brix had underground sewer pipe areas, a parking garage that went underground, etc)?
How many interior maps for missions are done? Cox had what, sewers, warehouses, offices, science labs, magical Orenbega maps, plus instanced outdoor area type stuff. Are we even close to that?

The PvP phase thread revealed a lot of unexpected game information for the topic. But it can be considered a chore to read as many posts were of some length. An easy answer is to confine yourselves to Tannim222's responses. Even then it is not a small thread and he had to repeat himself often.

- What will you do for the foreigner players (like how many language translated, which countries will be target with marketing, which currency will support the cashshop, etc 'cause the second chance could rise more donation if you have more targets ^^)
- Do you have a more precise idea, now, of the launch date ? late or early during fall 2018 ?

Back to the OP:
1) Will CoT avoid calling content 'quests' and instead refer to them as 'missions' as the old game did? It's a minor thing, but I liked that it drew a difference between this genre and the fantasy games out there.
2) What's the status on the release of the Avatar Builder? I was surprised to see no mention of it in this recent update when future plans were being discussed. Will the AB still be released before the main game?

Also, Can we please have a rival paper that hates Heroes? The kids hawking papers could say, "Read all about it, (nearby PC name) threat of menace?" a mission could be generated for heroes to play a prank on the editor. this could just as easily be a radio or TV station.

No, their called Team Titans
I accidently ate a bowl of radioactive soup....ok I guess that makes me a Soup-er Hero
This is the first time I've noticed the use of the term "Super Team". I wasn't aware that CoT was going to officially use that as a replacement for what CoH called "supergroups" but if that's true it's not exactly a complete surprise.
For example they've already come up with a bunch of new terms for all the character classes in the game so this would just be another "subtle replacement" in order to distance CoT (legally) from that former game that's still owned by another company. I'm sure we can eventually get used to this being changed too.

If they wanted to distance themselves from CoH, then they never should've called the game "City of Titans" :p
It's funny how the legal system works. Everyone knows CoT is a "spiritual successor" of CoH which means (essentially) it's going to try to be as 100% identical to the original as it can get away with. All MWM needs to do is change enough details between the two to be able to make a "plausible" legal argument that one is not overtly copying the other without license. Everyone knows what's going on here regardless (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) but it's what you can -legally- get away with that's key.
The classic analogy of this is the "McDowells" scene from the movie Coming to America:

Yes, but to be clear I mean to the extent that in City of Heroes you could look at a power in the character creator and it would list the exact damage scale, during and magnitude of status effects, etc.
Also, it was well known how the game determined the probability of a power hitting and so on. Though I think much of that actually came about through extensive statistical analysis by players. I recall some posts from Arcanaville about the process she went through.
[url=https://cityoftitans.com/forum/compilation-information-city-titans](Unofficial) Compilation of Information on City of Titans[/url]
Hmmm, you may end up waiting for Beta to get the real min max guide to numbers. The good news is Devs who love the game are the ones who are building and coding it. So you may get what you want.
[img]https://s15.postimg.cc/z9bk1znkb/Black_Falcon_Sig_in_Progess.jpg[/img]
I expect there to be a lot of balancing involved in powers performance, even well after Launch. I'm certain the Devs are going to try to avoid the bigger problems that CoH faced, but I'm certain there will be other things that cause just as much 'stink'. Let's try not to get too far ahead of ourselves, in demanding 'real' numbers and true min-max performance. Let it grow!
Be Well!
Fireheart
To clarify once more, I was never talking about getting these things ahead of the game's release. I was asking if they would be available within the game in real-time as you played, so that you could see them as you built characters and make decisions accordingly.
Keep in mind there's a very real possibility the answer to that question can be no. City of Heroes did not reveal the actual numbers behind powers for years, very much at the express wishes of Statesman IIRC. The Ship of Heroes site had a poll up on this recently, though I didn't see the results and I can't find them. But the options ranged from "players don't see any of the numbers at all" to "players see all of them." I'm sure the topic was discussed internally for CoT.
However, from discussion in another thread, it seems that the answer is yes, these numbers will be available to players.

As the customization is the main purpose of the character builder, do you plan to customize also the story of our character in, maybe, letting players to fill a form with some indications like the name of the nemesis or other choices to lead the story the way th player want for his character ?
I mean, if we can custome the look of the charcter, why not harvesting informations on main elements of the character story to build the missions or events which will lead th all story opf our character ?

Tyche mentioned this in our post-Pax West stream and it was mentioned in one of pur updates.
One of our plans is to create a "crafted mission" based off of tips and leads earned through game play. Piecing them together creates the mission. Which can be something unique or something that results in being part of an on going story.

Can we get an updated list of Archetype specializations that are slated for launch? i.e. Will any Assault sets be ready or are they planned for post-launch?
Maybe Tannim is around and can answer this one, though.
I have some questions about the mission crafting:
1. The mission crafting thing reminds me a little of the boardgame Clue. I.e. you get (Col. Mustard) in the (library) with the (revolver), etc. Will it be something like "names", "places" and "objects of interest" as the mission crafting components? If so, you'd need one of each to make a mission, right? I assume you carry around excess spare parts until you craft them later. Does that take up inventory space, or does it have a "wallet" of it's own?
3. In CoX, different outdoor neighborhoods were known territories of different factions. If I defeat a bunch of Aether Pirates, will that effect the type of mission "clues" I get, i.e. will I ALWAYS get a mission against Aether Pirates, or only more often, or it does it not matter at all?
4. Will the system work in such a way that you need three different types of clues and you might randomly get like a ton of one type and very few of another type?
5. Will there be some clues that lead to some missions which are like rarer or drop less frequently than others? If so, would those mission have better rewards somehow?
6. If I want to get a specific mission from crafting, is there any way to effect better odds of getting the necessary clues for it?

Heroes, Villains, and everything in between will occupy the same districts (a.k.a. zones). I cannot comment on PVP plans, as that's a Gameplay thing. Episodes (a.k.a. missions), Series (a.k.a. arcs), and Sagas (a.k.a. mega-arcs, a la paths) are being crafted for heroes and villains (sorry, but you have to pick one...for now) in all districts.
Terminology:
Episode=mission
Series=arc
Saga=mega-arc, e.g. paths
We are going for a more "comic book feel" with these names (or so I am told...I've never been a comic book person). That said, we might slip up in terminology every so often, as we've called them missions and arcs for much longer than we've called them episodes and series.
Yes, there will be at least one hot dog vendor, and he's in Rhinehart Park. I cannot speak to how many or what type of street vendors are being planned, only to those that have a solid place in the lore, and Frankie's has been voted "Titan City’s Favorite Street Food Stand" three years running...
Titan City Herald is the reputable newspaper in town. Titan Chronicle is a tabloid paper. The "rival paper that hates Heroes" would likely be the Chronicle.
We also have a TV station and at least one major radio station, plus at least one college radio station.

This is an interesting question. It probably would not be incredibly difficult for the Devs to provide a "randomize" toggle switch so that things like power colors/animations would be randomized with each activation. There could be some limitations to that but at least they might be able to make things cycle between a specific range of possibilities.
One time I attempted to make a pseudo-random character like this in CoH by using 10 costume slots that each had an identical costume but with a different power color/animation setup. The net effect was that I was able to seamlessly switch costumes every minute or two (which was unnoticeable because all the costumes were 100% identical) but with each switch the power color/animation would be different. The only thing that seriously limited this "experiment" was that CoH imposed a 30 second timeout between costume changes so it was impossible to "be random" any more often than that. Still it was the closest thing to your idea here that CoH would let you do.
Hopefully the Devs might consider a real randomize switch for CoT.

That is a very interesting concept. Never thought to do that. I went as far as on my toon Prism, who wore a rainbow colored solar-powered electrical suit, to have each of the powers be a different color of the rainbow but never thought about switching between character slot.
Yeah it was a good idea hampered by CoH's 30 second costume timer. :(
I understand there's a need for such a timer because you wouldn't want to allow people to switch costumes as fast as they could press a key and grief nearby people with a ton of costume data over the network. But at the same time a full 30 seconds was probably extreme overkill for this.
My hope is that CoT will have a timer but reduce it down to maybe 5 seconds so that it's still serving its purpose without being totally annoying.

Every setting and slider would need a list of settings (e.g. what colors can it choose from) and weights (i.e. what is the percentage chance of each of those settings) so you wouldn't get ugly combinations. And that's not even putting in something to declare dependencies (e.g. settings which should occur in tandem, like making sure a laser gun's glowing grooves are the same color as the beam that fires). I sure wouldn't want to do it, and I'm pretty sure this will hit the "sometime after launch if ever" bucket.
[i]Has anyone seen my mind? It was right here...[/i]
Well as I said a "randomize" toggle button might not be able to choose from ALL possible options. But if it could be hardwired to allow for some workable subset of settings (basically excluding all the potentially hard/unworkable ones) then this still might be feasible. As far as worrying about "ugly" colors or combinations goes I think the people who would use this "random" feature would NOT care about that because the goal would be to just have weird random chaos all the time. I doubt they'd care that sometimes the net effect would look "ugly" or not.

Not really talking about a "randomize" for costumes. I thought we were talking about a randomize feature for powers/animations so that basically each time you fire a power it would look different each time.

Actually matching color between animation and glowing bits on prop is also an issue when using static colors since we would be able to set different colors on different powers, thus there is a possibility that those two won't match up. This is one of those things that will either work for everyone (when using two or more animation colors) or for no one.
How much trouble would it be to put the onus on the player, by giving people the option to set up a rotation (or random choice) of several different color presets?

Well, that depends on what you are referring to as lore. Without knowing what your exact frame of reference is, I can say for sure that if it comes from our Composition team (e.g. the "Tales of" series of updates), then it is canonical. We take great care to try to have only one continuum to worry about.

Eh, it could be done but you'd probably have to have some kind of unique assignment GUI for it. At that point it might start becoming more trouble than it was worth.
The whole idea behind this randomization of colors/powers is that it is supposed to be for characters who are chaos-oriented. I don't think it should necessarily look "pretty" or "organized" in any specific way. It's supposed to look completely different each time you use a power so I think it would be absolutely in keeping with what you're trying to do to let this thing look semi-weird and/or semi-ugly just because it's supposed to be chaotic.

They are part of the overall city story, part of the background on the involved or associated characters, and sometimes has a direct role in the missions, though at no point are you required to have read any information outside of the game itself to succeed in a mission (but it does make it more interesting).

I'm just super murky on them and the "What We Can Do - Powers" didn't clarify much.
Or am I just stupid/blind and missed a whole area of this site dedicated to discussing tertiaries at length?
3. This may have been answered and I might have missed it but will customization extend to travel powers?

Will enemies insta-heal if the player is defeated or runs away a certain distance to re-group? The fact that that did not happen in CoX is something that put it head and shoulders above most other MMOs, in my book. Like the low defeat penalty, it encouraged players to keep trying, which I thought echoed the spirit of the superhero genre perfectly.

One mole of holes a mole times! ...So around 360,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 holes? That's about 360 quattuordecillion holes! /thanks Wikipedia
Edit: Misread the question - the less interesting answer would be 602,200,000,000,000,000,000,000 moles of holes, of course. One question down! Take it away, MWM!
I just did this math and was getting ready to post it, only to see somebody already beat me to it, and in greater detail than I intended.
It's times like these I truly love this community.

The answer I get is "1 mole of moles of holes". That comes out to 3.624x10^47 holes, but the answer was expected to be expressed in "moles of holes" not "holes", so the number answer would be 6.02x10^23 moles of holes, or one mole of moles of holes.

I'm digging this "What happened to number 2?" thing. I think Radiac started it. I feel like we need to have an NPC that never counts right. Like, "I have a couple of things to say about that. #1 blah blah blah, #2 blah blah blah, and finally #3 blah blah blah". In this case since "a couple" should be 2 things. Or maybe something like a Holy Hand Grenade. Pull the trigger and count to three. "OK, one... two... four. No, three!" Or even "There's 3 types of people in the world, those that can do math and those that can't."
"THE TITANS ARE COMING! THE TITANS ARE COMING!"
The thing that amuses me is that we have auto-numbered list support in BBCode here. If you write:
[notag][list=1]
[*]Item
[*]Item
[*]Item
[/list][/notag]
then you get:
[list=1]
[*]Item
[*]Item
[*]Item
[/list]
You can replace the 1 with A, a, I, or i to get letters and roman numerals, too.
