Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Greetings all!
I was first introduced to COH by my cousin, who played causally at launch. I remember the first time that I was over his house when he got it... after hours of watching him play, he finally let me create a character: a Fire/Fire blaster. After that, I was hooked. I played night and day leveling that first toon. I remember that summer, the day before my parents were going to pick me up, I was DYING to finish that toon. I finally leveled him to 50 an hour before my parents came. A little later, I was finally old enough to have my own computer, and was able to play on my own! muahahah Needless to say, I never stopped playing. Loved the game so much and am looking forward to CoT.
I had a bunch of alts, but towards the middle-end of my career, I was known in-game as @Beezlebub on Freedom. Redside only (Represent!). I was also leader of the PvP-based VG, Paradise Lost.

After DoH I left for DCUO. I had such high hopes, I played and searched and all my thoughts returned, once again, to CoH.
News of this project has reached many other MMOs which is good. It's a good start and we have a long way to go, but if there is anything I remember from CoH is it had the best community of any On-line game I have ever seen.
I can't wait for a working version of this.

I'm Jack Power and I played almost exclusively on the Guardian server from '04 to lights out. I'm from Stockholm, Sweden but when I started playing CoH I was working nights so playing on US servers was just fantastic for me.
I saw good friends come and go and in some cases come back. I never really left the game, just with family and new working hours, playing time had to suffer.
Fondest memory: I camped Lusca for 14 hours when the big cephalopod was introduced, just to miss her when I had to go potty. Jack was not happy. :-)
It's good to see CoT is making progress and I'd do anything I can to help, but I doubt that my skills as a subway train driver would come much in handy. :-/
I'm holding the devs of CoT to one thing. Never let this game die.

Hello everyone, my name is Borealys. I was in the first wave beta for City of Heroes way back when and stayed pretty much 100% in the Virtue server. I was part of the supergroup called The Canadian Shield and stayed with the game till the very end (off and on for its last year). I miss the game terribly, but I have a number of high hopes for City of Titans. Its looking to be and shaping up to be quite the adventure. Sometimes I find myself scrolling through the countless folders of screenshots from my CoH days and just letting the nostalgia hit me. I hope to see you all in-game (when it launches of course)! :)
Hi everyone! I played CoH since Issue 2, it was my very first MMO and feels like it was my last as every game since has just been something to tinker with while waiting for "The One". I'm really excited about this project, though sad that I missed my shot at helping out with the Kickstarter since I have no relevant skills to contribute. I think my handle on the CoX forums was AthenaRly, though I was not all that prolific a poster. I have since checked out the other CoX related projects and this one seemed to be, aside from closest to a reality, the most genuine continuation of one of the best things about CoX - the open, friendly and informed community. I'm grateful for all of you keeping this alive.

Hi. I'm a little late to the party. I actually backed the Kickstarter but didn't join the forums until just a few days ago.
I'm Doomslayer from the Guardian server. My other characters included Disconsolate, Surging Demise, and Faithtripper. I played from the beta until the closing with a few large gaps here and there. During the early years I mostly sat around Atlas Park and socialized, but I got into PvP in 2006 and swore by that until changes like heal decay came into effect. I left the game behind in late 2008, but came back in 2011 once the game went free to play. I had a new perspective on things and got heavily into RP during the final year, creating a stable of characters on Virtue that I miss more than anything else about the game.
I migrated to Champions Online after City of Heroes' closing, but it just doesn't feel the same and I rarely touch it these days. I think that City of Titans will be closer to the spirit that made City of Heroes so endlessly compelling, so I'm quite looking forward to it.

Hey all. I started on COH in June 2004. My first hero was an ice/ice blaster on Protector named Capt. Calgary. Unfortunately, I never got him to 50. I had too many alts. I was in the Hand Of Judgement SG on Justice with my fire/fire blaster. I made a few female heroes, but I got creeped out by some of the actions of my fellow heroes. O.o
Hello, I'm a kickstarter backer but I've just joined the forums. I started playing City of Heroes in December of 2005, just in time for the winter event. Most of my alts were on Union, though I wasn't much of an altoholic. My first and main toon was a mind control/force field controller called Mnemonic (pictured in my avatar), terrible for solo play but always welcome on a team, even had a Xmas specific variation of his main costume.
The concept would have worked better if I'd taken kinetics as the secondary, but by the time I came to this conclusion I'd spent too much time on him to delete and rebuild. It always seemed odd to me how a pool which worked far better in teams than in solo play had so much knockback, but it did give me plenty of room for pool powers.
I stopped playing when I went to university, for the obvious reasons of lacking the time and money required. I'd always planned to start again as soon as I'd graduated and halfway through the final year of my degree I started reading up on how the game had changed in the three and a half years I'd been away, only to find it had already been shut down... I was not best pleased.
I tried Champions Online and DC Universe Online but they just seemed restrictive and soulless, I guess CoH had me spoiled, So now I'm keeping track of the projects that have popped up after the shutdown. I'm looking forward to being able to remake Mnemonic in a way that feels right, one of the projects out there has to get it right.

Name's Centershock and I started CoH kinda sorta late in the spring of 2009 on a whim because FF11 wasn't working for me and Guild Wars (1) got boring. I picked this up and enjoyed it ever since.
I started on Justice but shortly called Virtue my home as it was known as the unofficial RP server. I had... 48 characters on that server. :\
I like to think I was well-known for (role)playing characters such as Nigredo Fist/Schwarzen Strike, White Mender/Divine Shot, Flameforge, Cyclone Shield, among so so so many others. As you may have guessed, I had (and still do) a severe case of altoholism or altitis.
I sincerely wish I had been a KS backer but did not have the funds at the time. If, in the future, they want donations, I will definitely donate. I do wish they could just shut up and take my money now, though. :P
I tried DCUO for awhile and while I LOVE LOVE LOVE the DC Universe, the gameplay was quite lackluster, and even moreso could be said about the RP scene there.
I also tried Champions for a good while. The gameplay was a little bit better there IMO and the RP was fairly good, but I just got bored with the game. With how CoH was so huge as far as their world was, Champions couldn't compare. Only so many zones you could go to.
I am currently wasting time with Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn but as soon as this game is out, y'all better believe I'm jumping that ship and getting into this one.

Hi all! I'm Maverick X. I started playing in the CoH beta, had it at launch and played for years later. I also started City Info Terminal (which then became City Info Tracker after merging with City Game Tracker) and then launched the Titan Network (cohtitan.com) with Voltaic Shock and Sucker Punch. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of this.

My first ever toon was "Nova Blade," a Claw/Regen Scrapper in a special operations suit. I never actually introduced myself but I'm the fighting patriot. Named after my first and only lvl 50 hero. Coh has been a major part of my life since I grew up on it during my teen years. I was a major altoholic so nothing survived past lvl 30 but the star spangled scrapper somehow got me to finish the long journey that is lvl 50 grind.
As for my personal life...just know I'm a big Spurs fan (GO SPURS GO!), heartbroken cowboys fan and hopeful USA soccer supporter. Of course it goes without saying but I'm a big nerd for comics! That passion early on led me to be interested in wide array of topics such as mythology, philosophy, politics, religion/spirituality and science. So I wouldn't be the person I am today without comics.
And with that said...Welcome to Titans!

Just wanted to say hey. I played on Pinnacle, had about 5 years play time all together with breaks in there. Many 50's created and deleted due to bouncing back and forth between pay to play and free to play. My last and probably longest Played 50 was Country Strong (Tank) Can't wait till this thing gets rolling. This is where I left Country Strong, standing with Liberty.Probably corny but I left each of the Toons I had in a city standing guard. Hello all. My global was @Rhianwen, on Virtue. I started playing about a year after the game opened, and stayed a subscriber and avid player till the very end. It was my first MMO - heck, it was my first computer game ever - and I fell in love with the game, the community, and the RP. My mains on Virtue were: Nyght-shade, Celtic Honor, Jade Dancer, Ice Kat, Sea Huntress, and Malus Lupus. I joined the Dauntless Reverie SG there, and redside the villain group Anathema. Good times!
It's great to see not only all the work MWM is putting into CoT, but also how fast the community has come together here. I'm psyched, and looking forward to the release of the CoT Character Creator by Christmas-time (hopefully).

The name is Kevin Lynch, global @hornetsnest, 6 year vet back in CoH. Was a terrible Controller but a good Blaster. Only soloed when playing a Tanker, lowered the enemy level by 1 and tripled their numbers. Good times! Other than that, it was all teaming. Cracking jokes and giving NPCs nicknames: Rollercoaster for Rollister and Fuzzy for Fusionette , etc. I'm really stoked, if a little impatient, to team with you all again. I'll be playing the ranged toon with the Medicine Pool, Teleport Team Mate, and whatever else might help you all :D So, let's all start the chant: BETA! BETA! BETA! BETA!
