Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

I wanna go Truck surfing.

Couldn't do that in COH...but I wanna do it here.
You could make it fun...with Low bridges...and damage

I'm sure its only a line or two of code. Please?

Where to begin ...?

I think your expectations on the coding end are off by a couple orders of magnitude (at least). As for the "cool factor" I've advocated over a year ago in favor of being able to "ride" moving vehicles (including on the highways?) as a sort of Poor Man's Travel Power. Heck, simply being able to Ride The Tram ON THE OUTSIDE would go a long way towards this.

I remember spending a good twenty minutes trying to do this on COH (or was it CO). Would be fun figuring out the pattern of every car. haha

COH, probably. You'd just slide off the top of the truck; no concept of friction. And you'd probably ride until you got picked off in the bad part of town, or zoned when the vehicle left through a tunnel.

I saw a comic book once where Spider-man was riding on top of a bus.
but when the driver realized he was there,
he told him to pay or get off.

Some heroes look too heavy to ride on top of vehicles
(some can't even ride inside)
and some civilian drivers are likely to freak out.

Don't cause an accident.

The basic rule in City of

The basic rule in City of Heroes was that if it was a mobile object/avatar, there was no stable way to stand on it. That's why you'd always slide off the top of a boxy truck on the roads ... or off the top of the blimp in Atlas Park. It was just a limitation of the game engine.

Unreal 4 doesn't have those problems ...

Yep.. i always wondered about that. then i saw someone handle this fairly easily by Reparenting the Player as a Child of the Vehicle... and when they jumped off, unparent the player. :)

If it's a Poor Man's Travel "Power" (Temp, or Perm), I think it being an actual power would make it a little easier to code. If power is active, when contact with Object is made activate Function(Stick to car). Then the stick it car could include the animation of landing on car and assuming a surfing position. And then if power is off do function(stop car and hop off)

I mean it wouldn't be one or two lines but it wouldn't be anything ground breaking

There was a character in Star Driver that did that, too.
