I been visualizing Unknown as a Venom like symbiote but without the need of a host... er more to the point he absorbed the host fully. Yeah he has morph abilities but not to a predetermined creature.

Well all i know about amerikatt is she currently possesses flight and enhanced intelligence. A cat wouldn't cost much to build.. so it wouldnt take many points to add in those two powers to put a cat on human int and give it flight.
Now I believe amerikatt is an empath healer? that would be some serious point allocation depending on what advantages/disadvantages her healing set cost.
Tack in I assume some form of self defense and some perks.
The ability to heal others is actually rather rare in comic books but I would guestimate amerikatt at about the same point spread as Mel, just in different locations. How many that is.. no idea yet, have to sit down and build her powers. Then double check that I didnt flub the numbers... so maybe later tonight if I dont get lit at the bar with some friends.

When CO was getting ready to come out I actually rp'ed under the hero system with a group of characters that were all school age, was a fun bit of time... Sadly CO was lacking many fundamental things that brought me back to CoX so many times so i never stuck with CO.
I'll be excited as these boards start picking up more and I can start rp adventures and competitions. with PRIZES!.
I am still reworking my merc. I have 4 basic characters I play depending on my mood... but my merc is an animal/human hybrid and I dont know what animal hybrids will be available to us yet. I also will be starting her on the boards as high school age so when the game hits she will be at the 'college years' of her powers.

Oh and to clarify, and sorry not for popping on this thread earlier, I don't have any experience with PnP RP, I'm afraid, and I apologize if Lady Nova seems overpowered....I see her power level on about Ms. Marvel's, her major weakness/hindrance is that she cannot divert her energy reserves in two or more places at once. For example, if she were to be flying at under subsonic speed and begin to fire energy blasts, they would be significantly weak to if she was only firing energy blasts, but on the ground.
Diverting an equal amount of energy to her shields, augmenting her strength, and firing blasts impairs her over time, as it begins to tap into her bodily reserves, if she isn't absorbing energy otherwise, constant bombardment, magic, subverting tech, and of course, overwhelming force, or losing focus...

In the City of Heroes game, Amerikatt's archetype was actually "Kheldian Peacebringer" (non-shapeshifting), so she had some fancy powers like (invisible) bubbles of resistance, eyebeams, flying, Flash, healing, some sort of contact explosion (her "superstrength", which let a 5 lbs. cat knock over a 200 lbs. man). Basically, certain "cat-like" powers which made her like Streaky the Supercat, with healing powers. I 5- or 6-slotted "Numina's Convalescence" (the best Rare healing set) and was able to get a decent +HP healing percentage. She also had the AoE Incarnate Healing power at +4.
Amerikatt's intelligence level is not only "Human" level, it would (in Hero System terms) be "Competent" (150-160 IQ; Einstein/Edison/Tesla level), as her Interlligence level is roughly equivalent to a Child Prodigy and she not only understands all Human languages, but a few alien ones, and even the languages of other animals (all mammals. butterflies. and bees).
I would say that her Physical power level in the Hero system would be around "Legendary", while her Non-Physical attributes would be at the "Competent" level. It should be remembered that Amerikatt is a Silver-Age heroine, and that the Superboy/Superman of that time (and into the late 1960's/early 1970's) was capable of juggling planets or moving them out of their orbit. Although Streaky the Supercat was from that time period and possessed of great power, his abilities are about a category below Superman's (which was easily "Superhuman" category), so I'd say that Amerikatt's physical power levels would be analogues to Streaky's (but she is stronger than Streaky in non-physical attribute levels).
Amerikatt started as a "normal" (although mutated) kitten and grew to have powers endowed to her by her deity.
Roleplaying-wise, she's very reluctant to use her physical powers at full strength, and always pulls her punches when dealing with squishies. Her first priority is to heal whomever needs it. (You should've seen the nastygrams I got when I emoted that "Amerikatt heals Lusca for 598 hit points!")

dont apologize , its fine. everyone would roll a gallactica powered hero if they wanted to (id say one of the few beings overall more powerfull than superman). if batman and superman give each other runs for their money than im sure Nova will find her match in the most unlikely of places ^_^

Please keep the language relatively clean. I can't imagine a character in a DC or Marvel comic book using such language.

Well, we just got this new city and it would be irresponsible to crash the fortress into those nice shiny new apartments. At least if we crash it into the bay, the Eden Tech folks can turn it into a reef or something. Heck, maybe it will give the devs someplace to put an instance!!

I kind of thought of a name for the orb. The name itself opens a number of possible ideas. It's the "Jewel of Hel"
Also thought of a second orb called the "Eye of Odin" What that one does I haven't thought of yet.

So i'm thinking of introducing a villain character, but i've never been a villainous type. Right now, i'm sketching a vigilante/out-for-himself kind of super. He wouldn't really be the destroy the world/enslave the world type. Ill be doing a lot more character development on paper and in my head before I bring him in here, but if any of you have some key insights into developing a solid villain character, please let me know.

Amerikatt does not speak English (although she understands all Earth languages and a few extra-terrestrial ones, too)!
I suspect that some of Amerikatt's abilities are psychic in origin, so it makes sense that she would have low-grade telepathy to let you know that she's hungry (just like a non-powered cat)! :)

Emma Frost is curvy, yes, but not revealing at all. Certainly not as much as other superheroines, Power Girl included. Come to think of it, I don't recall there being any concrete explanation to her 'window of opportunity', isn't there?

Technically speaking Powergirls outfit one of the most covered. Yeah there is the window and bare legs. But she more covered then Wonderwoman for example.

Yeah I was kinda thinking of writing them a bit into his backstory once we hear more about them.
Maybe have a few of the kids who grew up around Arch as mid level Motorhead members, causing the gang overall to leave him alone... and use him like an unwilling mascot of re-purposing stuff. Helping to promote the greater city thinking Arch is a pain unworthy of his title... but those in the streets knowing better.

I know some info about them. They were thought up near the beginning however I'm sure my Info about them falls under the NDA I signed. Best way to think of them as Clockworks just with no clockwork king. Their only goal is reproduction like the Replicators from Stargate SG1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Replicator_(Stargate) However like I said I don't know how they are going to show up in the game.

oh that is a wee bit different. Actually far closer to original concept for the character.
Arch is based on my CoH i1 hero Gasket... he was a monsterous sized clockwork themed scrapper that i rerolled in i4 or 5 as a tank after accidentally losing my name for not subbing for a few months during college.
So those things will work perfectly... mmm yes... a few rewrites will be in order.

The basic run down as far as I know is this.
Motorheads are simple AIs they function only to replicate. They use mostly cars hence the Name MotorHeads because of that fact. They work together just to disassemble and reassemble more of themselves. There is no central order no head Motorhead. Like I said a motorized cockroach swarm around a car or other such items and take it apart, if just one Motorhead still functions it will just produce more.

Haha, I don't know about you guys but I am SO looking forward to fighting both this group and the Aether Pirates in game, it is clear that City of Titans wants to make sure we have engaging enemies...:)

I hope they keep up the Info on the enemy groups once the Kickstarter is over. There the MotorHeads, The Black Rose, The Three Dragons. As well as other groups they got that haven't been hinted yet.

As the writer of that piece, I should point out that IFRIT is *defending* the steel mill in Ironport (the Wharton Steel mill), primarily from the Black Rose (i.e., mafia). I believe that's the only remaining operational steel mill in the city; but there's plenty of other industrial stuff in that area. Ironport *used* to be full of steel mills, but, like in RL, the east coast steel industry has not done well as of late.
I don't want to put in details (things about them are still in flux). IFRIT has generic minons/lts/bosses. Mostly using plasma rifles or flamethrowers (big surprise, huh?). The generic bosses/LT's have a very millitary feel, the minions less so. They love to attack the Black Rose. And most of them have pyromania. Nothing says a few can't go a bit nuttier than usual and burn down a place because they feel like it.
