Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Somehow, she manages to give the impression of a formal bow, even seated as she is. "I will begin searching in the morning- or perhaps tonight, depending on how bored I am." She takes the card from Cordelia, glances it it, nods once, tucks it in the sash of her dress. "IT's been an interesting evening, my Norsk friend. I should have news for you soon."

She watches him depart, face unreadable, then smiles at Cordelia. "So. Could I trouble you for a tour? At least of the parts of the estate you don't mind people seeing?"

She takes Cordelia's hand, twinging their fingers, and uncurls from her chair like a snake, grinning just a bit. "Why don't we begin with the gallery, and finish the evening in the garden, hmm? Perhaps with another glass of wine."

Cordelia offers the woman a smile and confirming nod, before they are briefly enshrouded in an obfuscating black mist, reappearing at the beginning of a long and carefully lit marble and cherrywood corridor, two statuesque hellhounds standing austere at their side, ready to walk with them, docile, clearly no threat. Along the walls ahead of them, would be moving images trapped within flat, timeless spheres, countless scene after scene of history unfolding before them.
Worthy of note: One displaying Cordelia within the common style of a high society woman within the 1800's, seated in the booth opposite the one inhabited by a chuckling Abraham Lincoln, before that infamous shot is fired, screams are heard, as a soon to be hunted man leaps to the stage...
And Cordelia smiles...

The hounds faze her not at all; after a brief, curious examination, she basically ignores them. Sannit seems far more interested in the artwork, or at least the method of display. The Ford's Theater one holds her for a long moment, and she chuckles. "Not the best likeness of either of you. Was Mr. Booth one of yours?"

She smirks at the mention of the man...
"No, he wasn't, and believe it or not I was actually fond of Lincoln as a President, I was smiling because a hellhound was hunting down and mauling Booth's co-conspirators...I later aided the manhunt discreetly..."
Doesn't offer more, as she turns to another scene, this one depicting the aftermath of the famed Battle of Saratoga, Cordelia brandishing and sheathing a bloodied rapier in a scabbard holstered to her unmarred dress, at least a dozen British soldiers cut down around her, the wind whipping her hair around her like a ebony curtain...
After watching, she'd comment with a smile, as both hounds nuzzle their legs sweetly...for devil dogs anyway...

"I'm glad to hear it. Grand political assassinations are not to be undertaken lightly..." Absently, she reaches down to skritch the hound playing a her feet behind its ears. The sound of her nails on the rough hide is oddly loud. She watches the violent tableau play out with a tiny smile. "So. A swordswoman as well? We should perhaps spar at some time. Though I'm not at all expert, it's a useful skill. I should keep it up."

"It doesn't aid one's defense to remain a one trick pony, in reference to my sorcery, so I opted to practice a form of martial combat just in case for preperation...I can honestly say it has served me well and has saved my life countless times..."
She would turn to a particular scene beside them, detailing a incredibly fierce sword battle between Cordelia and what looks like the famed monster hunter himself, Abraham Van Helsing within a burning manor, appearing stalemated, as she takes the time to comment...
"Speak of the bane of my existence, and he shall appear..." Muses

"Every villain should have a Nemesis," she murmurs, smiling to herself. "He's rather handsome. Does he live still to plague you?"

She nods slowly, as her voice takes an unfamiliar tone of sadness...
"He does, we were friends once Sannit, allies...lovers, we could have been more...until he discovered I was a sorceress..." Shakes her head, not wanting to dwell on the foul memory...
"I trust he lives and is doing what he is famed to do, even now...I know our paths will cross again..."

Her smile turns almost gentle as she nudges the surprisingly affectionate hound away from her thigh. "Life would be pointless without old pains, my friend- and worthy challenges. I hope to meet him some day. If he can still arouse so much emotion in you, he must be very...interesting.
But dwelling on it is maudlin. Shall we move on? Or remove ourselves to the garden?"

She smiles, nodding as she turns to yet another scene, this one displaying Cordelia in the shadows of a smoldering stone hovel, directing legions of cloaked hellhounds to tear down swathes of fleeing and terrified Nazi soldiers, their munitions no match for the beasts claws and teeth as well as the witch's own sweeping crescents of serrating shadow blasts....she's fighting secretly with the Allied forces on D-day...
She smiles as she comments...
"Now this, was a good day..."
The next image would depict Cordelia within the garb of a female Nazi officer, clutching a blond haired child to her body to shield it from the smoke swirling around them as she wills a concentration camp to burn under the will of violet flames, while allowing friendly soldiers to retrieve the tortured occupants and direct them to safety, as she allows their fiendish former overseers to burn...
She quietly whispers...
"A very good day, indeed..."

"The cracks in your 'evil sorceress' mask are beginning to show, my dear. Unless these are forgeries, in which case you're more vain than I thought." She turns to face her hostess. "What changed?"

"Nothing Sannit, think for a moment...Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich were a threat to the world at large, my actions were to make sure the Allied Forces triumphed completely, and that child I'm holding? She is my ward and finest acolyte, she now assists me in finding, breaking, and converting prospects to my forces..."
Smirks...
"As did the British threaten our independence in 1776, as well as other oppressive forces throughout our history Sinnat, they are undesired variables and they needed to be removed from the equation..."
Sighs before explaining...
"Van Helsing is a special case, he was the only other immortal I knew who matched me in skill and intellect, he..." Shudders...
"Humanized me...I left him with a dagger twisted in his gut and a promise that if he were to ever set foot within the soil of Massachusetts he would be eviscerated on the spot by a pack of my finest hounds..." Smiles

Her grin is dark. "That's better. While I could argue with you on a number of those points, I'll grant them, for now. I am a guest, after all. I was merely afraid you were hiding excessive humanitarian impulses under your veil." She wanders back to the Helsing portrait and looks up at it for a bit
"I have several acquaintances in the Intelligence community he would get on well with.".

At Sannit's words she nods, smiling as her interest is piqued...
"I wonder why?" Smirks, inquiring

Still looking up at the picture, she murmurs, "Any organization is suspicious of someone who shares their skillset but not their philosophy. Armies and mercenaries, police and vigilantes...baseball teams and free agents..." Grinning, she turns back. "In my case the rivalries are a bit more complex, and more personal."

She smiles to Sannit suddenly, a dark grin not unlike the one she received earlier as the inquires...
"So I take it you have foes not unlike my own? And I can't imagine you work for one static organization Sannit, it'd be a eventual bore...what can you safely tell me about your current ah...occupation?"

She chuckles. "Oh, I'm not a spook, Cordelia. Gods forbid. All that paperwork...no, my business as a consultant is completely legitimate..." For a moment, it seems she will say no more, but then she relents.
"When I was quite a bit younger- I also am older than I appear, a little, though not in your league; just excellent genetics and training- I had a brief fit of misplaced patriotism and joined my homeland's military. During my service, my...gifts, if you will pardon the term, came to the attention of certain people. Favors were exchanged- though I had the sense not to sign my name to any Bibles, or Qu'rans." With a chuckle, she nudges the hound at her side. "Not my real one, at any rate. I believe it was expected that I would accept a more...normalized...position once my enlistment ended. Some people were aggrieved that I did not. Fortunately, the Alphabet Agencies are usually too engaged with each other and fighting for their own budget survival to cause me too much inconvenience."
The face she shows to Cordelia when she turns is a bit harder than usual. "My occupation? Information and control, my dear. I thought it was obvious. Mostly for my own use and comfort, but not exclusively."

She nods as she listens to Sannit, not showing any hint of surprise at her reveal of being older than her appearence implies, offering a disarming smile to Sannit's hard face...
"I didn't mean to sound dense my dear, just seeking a bit of clarification" Smiles
"And to answer your earlier question it'd be an honor to spar with you Sannit, and may I inquire something else?" The only sounds heard would be the hum of the displayed memories and light sniffing of the hounds, one sitting comfortably at Sannit's feet, deciding he likes her...

San snorts amusedly. "Dense? Hardly. Inquisitive, as I would be in your place. Ask. I make no promise I'll answer. " She grins, face relaxing. "Or that my answer will be completely truthful. I reserve the right to a certain privacy, even with my...hmmm. Friends? Is that what we are? Perhaps."

One plucked eyebrow lifts slightly. "That depends, my dear. Is this merely an attempt to get me to kill him for you, so you don't have to live with yourself after the fact?" Her tone is light, but she is deadly serious.

"No, of course not, I don't doubt your capabilities of course, but didn't you express a desire for the information, the secrets he might hold?"

As she muses, she is so still, even the hound looks up, puizzled. "Mmmm. I don't know how much of what he knows I would be able to use...but then...any knowledge is power..." The sleepy, deadly grin creeps across her face again. "It seems this is my week to meet legends. Yes, Cordelia- if you can stand his company and my own, I'd be delighted. However, I don't wish my name used in his presence. I know enough about the theory of sympathetic magic to know that such a revelation could be...inconvenient. When we meet, I'll thank you to refer to me as Aniki.
If it amuses you, you can tell him I'm your servant. Or your lover. Or whatever you wish."

She smiles a dark and Cheshire like grin, pleased at her answer, before she takes a second to ponder her answer...
"Excellent, and I completely understand your wishes, I will honor them..." Offers her hand before speaking further...
"And I do grow tired of using the servant cover, do you object to posing as my lover...partner?" Smiles before warning...
"But do remember this man is not ordinary, he is a talented swordsman, tactician, and occult and supernatural expert...I hope your up for a challenge, my dear?"

The long fingers are cool but twine firmly with Cordelia's. "Not at all. I imagine you'd appreciate teasing him that way. As for his swordplay...well. I've dealt with that sort of thing before. And I have you along to deflect any occult shenanigans I can't cope with, hmmm?"

Cordelia smiles at that, nodding...
"Of course, I won't be caught ill prepared...any questions still left unanswered, Sannit?"

She laughs, squeezes the hand she's holding. "Thousands. Some of them you can't answer, and we haven't time for them all right now, anyway."

She smiles as she walks them through the rest of the gallery and through several corridors, the garden itself appearing beautiful through opaque glass, shrouded through thin fog and haze of strange, violet fireflies, the foliage itself a mix of vibrant and pulsing flowers from almost every era, vines of all variations along well placed marble columns, as herbs such as wild thyme and rosmary among many others.
Their aromas would be calming, as each of the herbed bushes line clear, placid water pools that add a degree of simple beauty to the area, as Cordelia leads Sannit inside the garden...
"I trust it is satisfactory?"

Stooping to trail long fingers in one of the pools, Sannit dribbles a few drops of the water on her throat, then over their joined hands. "It's lovely, my dear. You continue to surprise me. But you need a Zen garden. And perhaps a meditation maze. I know a designer who is quite imaginative with them. She's a friend, of sorts. I could put you in touch, if you like."

She smiles at that, pondering...
"That could be an excellent addition...and please, by all means do so...how would I repay you though Sannit?"

She waves it off. "You'd have to make payment arrangements with Alessis. For myself- you've already given me an open invitation, so I'd benefit as well. I have several homes, but none of them with this kind of open space, so I only have very modest gardens." A smile fills her face. "But my gravel and rake have given me quite a bit of peace, through the years."

"So has mine, it is calming, tranquil when times to me have not been, yet this beautiful place stays the same..." Comments before stating...
"Erica, my ward, tends it for me when I am not present...she has quite the green thumb versus my own..." Smirks

Bending, she unbuckles one long boot and slithers it off, dipping her toes in one of the pools. "Still warm."

"My first time 'swimming' was being thrown into the Atlantic Ocean by witch-hunters, hoping I'd drown..." Smirks

"And of course, if you did not, you were clearly a witch, and you would be hung. Or pressed to death." She unfastens the other boot, hikes up her skirt, and sits, both legs in the pool up to her knees. "This isn't deep enough to drown in, unless I held you down in it." She grins, just barely visible under the moonlight. "Join me."

She chuckles before removing her own heels, before slipping in as well still with her violet gown, though the dress remains dry and unscathed, clearly magic at work as the takes several moments to inhale the calming auras around them, speaking...
"I must say your not at all what I was expecting Sannit, this is truly a welcome surprise..." Grins

As she slips her arm around Cordelia's narrow waist, she laughs lightly. "What were you expecting, then? I am a predator with highly-developed social instincts, that's all. A monster who knows what she is."

For a long time, she sits silent, almost motionless, even her breathing stilled, looking at the sky. Then she looks at the house, the faint glimmer of lights from the windows.
Then to Cordelia at her side. "Well. Shall we give your van Helsing something real to worry about."

"That we shall...does your brilliant mind already have a plan forming my dear?"
