About the new symbol/icon, I had a thought. One of the things that represented Paragon city and CoH was the five pointed star aka Statesman's chest. What about two strong arms holding up a five pointed star overhead in a strongman's pose (like the arms are holding a heavy box overhead)

That's a cool idea Shadow. Buuut... at least when I think of it, my mind goes to the "two strong arms" as being male. Given that our benefactor is female, I'd think from a RP / personality standpoint she might want to see us sporting either a gender-inclusive or gender-neutral symbol.
Riffing on your theme, what about having the star as a background behind two arms (one more obviously male, one more obviously female) doing a "fist-bump" or similar?
Fist bump might look too much like a fight, but clasped hands? I know it's kinda cliche, but ...

Front page looks good... maybe mine is borked but it still showed the SG name as The Paragons... dunno if that's a cache issue on my end?
Anyhoo, as I was looking through I saw that the costume colour and design are still up in the air, so I figured I'd throw out a suggestion based on one of my favourite "classic hero" looks to get the ball rolling. I don't have the Icon program so I can't recreate it but hopefully I can describe it well enough to get the idea across and maybe allow someone with the program to mock it up.
Main Colours: Off-white (not pure white, I think I set it 1 or 2 ticks darker) and Burgundy
Accent: Gold (somewhere towards the darker end of the yellows)
Patterns:
- Chest, Arms and Legs - iirc these were the Sharp option - Burgundy was the "outer" colour, Off-white was the inner.
- Boots/Gloves - classic folded over look - Off-white
- Belt - can't remember the set, Stealth maybe? It looked like two pads that circled the waist on each side but did not meet in the middle - Gold outer trim, Burgundy inner
- Emblem (*obviously this will be the SG emblem whenever it gets designed*) - I used the one that looked like a diamond made of fading dots - Gold / Burgundy
- Mask (I'd make this selection optional) - I used a full mask (no hair) that went down the neck, sloped from top of nose to cheeks then straight down - Burgundy to merge with the top of the chest pattern
- Cape (maybe optional?) - long, solid colour (no pattern) - Burgundy outer, Off-white inner
I know I can't be the only one with ideas, so please critique and share! And again if anyone is able to mock this up from my description, knock yourself out :)

So, Cutters idea actually stuck, and after we talked it out, we really came to like the idea of Burgundy(dark red) and Off White with gold accents.
Significance of the colors will be related in the story line.

Hello everyone,
Well, now that the SG color's have been chosen and the building exterior is being worked on, I figured we could discuss the logo.
If anyone has any suggestions for the SG logo, feel free to submit your idea. If you can include a picture of your idea that would help greatly.
Try and be detailed as you can. From talking to the Dev's it seems the logo's can be quite intricate in the details so dont feel it has to be simple in design unless that is your intent.
So far we have two ideas already:
1) a winged globe logo- various concepts for the wings and globe have been discussed and I believe a rendition of this idea is in the works.
2) a 5 pointed star held up by hands has also been talked about.

Was talking wit Kax about the logo. What i have in mind is to use the idea with the globe with wings and add to it.
Basically Atlas would be holding the globe. Since he is a titan, it makes sense to have him as part of the logo. Behind the logo will be a phoenix, but the only thing visible will be his head and wings. the logo serves 2 purposes. Atlas holding up the globe represents who we are. We are titans. We are the children of Atlas. The phoenix represents where we are today since we have risen from the ashes

After playing with a few buildings, this is the one that a large amount of the active members of the Skype group have come to like, so its the basis were going to use for designing our future living space! We have a few things to clear up with the Devs in terms of what we might like for the building, but we have guidelines from them so far. will share more info on the building in the coming week, i have a final exam in a week, so I'm a little busy :P

I expect a web site is on the "to-do" list somewhere... Lucious, Kaxiya et al are the ones most likely in the know for sure!
yeah, its in the plans, i have a design plan for the site, i don't want it being full of tons of pages and tons of forum entries, i want a simple page thats viewable on all forms, will have our running calendar on it, the costumes, upcoming events, the current leader council and a rooster list and nice screen cap of the building were designing. So given that the site will be pretty blank for the mean time as it will be a while till half of that is available.
But rest assured, you all won't be disappointed with the things we have in the works. Everything about this SG is going to come down the fine details, taking our time, and forging our legacy.
City of Heroes lasted 8 years, and would have for many more (thats not something we need to get into here.. lol) so it goes to show that this game will easily be a part of our lives for easily just as long, and i feel something this important shouldn't be rushed. I just hope that the majority of you can hold out through this next 12 months to enjoy the glorious future of

Yes I really want to be in an active SG when the game starts. So would very much enjoy joining the party here.
I joined the game when it first came out, left for a year or two, then came back and saw it to it's end. Had dozens of 50's all of them being incarnates.
Various AT's were played so I have a good idea of the powersets and play styles, although I am no expert.

PS. My favourite character was Sherotica, a 54 brute who traversed red and blue.

It's been since November 2013 I have logged in to see how things are developing and to stick my toe in to further test the waters... I will try to get more active in the posts and forums as things in RL allow... I was never a 'shy' player in CoH and look forward to becoming as active as possible as time passes...
