As the title says, will there be options to stand as a beast would? Does not have to be on all fours; I am referring to the hunched over nature of beast-like heroes.

As a child, I thought my name was handsome, cause that is what everyone called me.
Here are some stances in Champions Online:
The two stances on the left are “beast” stances. I assume you mean something like that?
I was kind of wondering the same thing. I'd like to see a good primal stance or two, as well as something like DCUO's "Powerful" and (female) "Flirty" stances (though perhaps don't take too many stance ideas from DCUO; most of them are awful).
I'm hoping stances affect non-powered movement, and are tied to individual costume rather than the entire character.
Characters:
* Kestrel
* Zero Break
* All-Star
The topic of stances has come up before on this forum and (IIRC) the Rednames have generally been in favor of the idea. I think the general idea was that they might try to do a few basic stances at first and (like with most everything else) try to add additional versions when they have more time after launch.
I remember the stances from CO (I played that game for a few months after it first launched) and always thought that was one of the few cool things that game provided that never existed in CoH. I definitely hope that if we get something like stances for CoT that we can assign a unique one to each costume slot.

Something like that haha. What I mean by "Something like that" is I always thought CO's beast stances look like cowboys. Not sure where you found the toon, but it is pretty neat. Might jump on CO tonight.

I see what you mean, the one on the far left looks ready to draw in an Old West shootout.
Now I have the urge to make a cowboy character in CO with that stance. I never noticed it before. :D
I'm definitely all for stances, and bestial stances in particular.
I actually use the 1st CO example on one of my Champs characters (not that I've played much, or in a long time). He's a magically animated Gargoyle, and I really went to town with the body sliders to give him a good grotesque shape to go along with the strange movements.
The most bestial stance should also make you run on all fours a la Teen Wolf :)
FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)
I knew there had been several other "stance threads" on this forum before so I spent a few minutes digging for them. The best post about it seems to be one that Doctor Tyche wrote about a year ago where he claimed there were a bunch of stances they could do and it would just be a matter of plugging them in at some point.

We had that in the old game, but it was a type of run that came with a Super Booster pack rather than a stance. I'm happy with however MWM wants to implement it -- even if it's a store purchase -- just as long as we get it at some point.
Spurn all ye kindle.
Hey, I remember that now! I never had that Booster Pack so I'd forgotten all about it.
FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)
I want something as close to this as possible, without completely altering the body type.

No cowboys or Quasimodo men lol.

Honestly, just straight up the ability to transform into animals as a combat power sounds awesome. Not a launch power, of course, but it'd be pretty doable with how robust the system they've built is.
An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".
