Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Temporal Manipulation/Chronokinesis/Time Control

Mind you, this is an extreme reference as far as the extent of time control, but I feel it accurately represents critical attributes of the powerset, such as:

  • Flash-Forward - Jump forward through time in seconds, minutes, days, months, etc.
  • Temporal Rewind - Rewind time to a few seconds, minutes, hours, days, etc. into the past. The user can alter and fix the past when the user goes back to the past (i.e. repair damaged objects, Temporal Healing, resurrect the dead and return with them to the current timeline.)
  • Time Reduction - an application of Chronokinetic Combat
  • Time Acceleration - an application of Chronokinetic Combat, method of travel through super speed or teleportation/blinking (e.g. Time Stopping)
  • Time Stopping - Stop time while being unaffected. Users can also allow others to be unaffected. Doing so, however, may require physical contact.
  • Time Travel - Users can travel, or potentially send others, to future/past (some may move in spatial position; others may be limited to standing in the same spot)
  • Accelerated Probability - predict the outcomes of and what choices one should make
  • Age Manipulation - slow or stop the effects of time, Time Theft
  • Time Perception Manipulation - manipulate how the passage of time is perceived by the senses of others, resulting in the user's actions being read as unnaturally fast/slow
  • Appearance of Enhanced Reflexes - illusion attributed to Time Manipulation
  • Appearance of Enhanced Speed - illusion attributed to Time Manipulation
  • Temporal Cognition - precisely perceive time (current time, and the passage of time personally, objectively, and locally) discern a subject's age, when events take place
  • Parachronal Cognition - perceive how time plays out in parallel timelines
  • Appearance of Precognition - illusion attributed to Time Manipulation
  • Appearance of Postcognition/Retrocognition - illusion attributed to Time Manipulation

Flash-Forward could be similar to a Champions Online-style teleportation. It would work wonders as a movement power exclusive to the powerset, or as its own power pool.

Temporal Rewind could definitely be possible like Temporal Mending, as you described.

Time Reduction is good for slowing enemies down like the Time Crawl power.

Time Acceleration is basically super speed or flash-stepping, and would work better as a movement power pool that the player refers to as a temporal power.

Time Stopping would be an epic hold power to have.

Time Travel could be making enemies untouchable and held at the same time, like with Time Stopping. The enemy cannot be harmed until he's spat out somewhere in the near future.

Accelerated Probability would be the ultimate defensive power, likely adding a gargantuan bonus to the evasiveness of the user.

Age Manipulation could best be used to wither an enemy in combat, adding several debuffs. It could also set an allies age back to when they were at their prime.

Time Perception Manipulation is essentially a mix of Time Reduction and Time Acceleration, likely adding defense and accuracy buffs to yourself while giving the opposite to your opponent.

Enhanced Reflexes and Enhanced Speed are basically expected of the Time Acceleration power, and should really be combined.

Temporal Cognition is very similar to Accelerated Probability, only it deals with the present. It is likely that it could be used to predict an opponent's moves like a low-level Accelerated Probability.

Parachronal Cognition looks to be relatively useless unless if these parallel timelines can be interacted with.

Precognition can also be tied into Accelerated Probability.

Retrocognition can be inflicted on enemies to make them perceive only the past and not the future, adding the same debuffs as Time Perception Manipulation. Basically, it needs to merge.

While it would not fit my

While it would not fit my theme, I think I would be disappointed with most versions of this power because a server exists only at one time. A "quantum energy set" would work much better for me but calling it time manipulation would be a misnomer.

Yeah, that's why most multiplayer games don't have a time manipulation function... :( It's the driving force behind why something as epic as Vanquish gets buried. Thankfully though, we are talking about a game that uses RPG-style buffs and debuffs to decide the fate of combat rather than twitch-based mechanics. Thus shall we easily work around the mechanics of this powerset, and thus shall we receive Time Manipulation.

Great ideas! I was first under the impression that this set would work very similarly to CoX's Time Manipulation, favoring the more RPG-esque buff/debuff system in lieu of a more difficult-to-develop, actual world-stopping/speeding/slowing (possibly AoE-based) system, but I hope to be surprised at some point by UE4 regarding this. This powerset really holds so much potential, and I look forward to what exactly can be accomplished with it.
