I know its way way way down the list, but maybe we can get a list of forum members with Macs just incase the number isn't as large as i would personally hope :P ; since there tends to be issues on the mac softwares that arent always present on the Windows side of the game. If yall think this is not needed, delete it ^_^

10.6.8 here, and I too am waiting on Mavericks. Of course, I probably will get that when I finally upgrade my poor 2003 iMac. ;)

I have a Hackintosh running OS X Mountain Lion. My preference would be to play with a Mac client. But I can boot into Windows if I really have to.

Is there any postulated minimum spec for a mac to run the client?
Get yourself right; the world has enough problems.
Count my wife and I on this list. We are kind of tired of only being able to play WoW together.
Older Mac here, 10.6.3.
Edit: updated to 10.6.8
It is possible to play Star Trek Online and Champions Online with a wrapper (it is for STO, but works for CO as well)
Sound Lead, Bullpen Writer

It works, but it doesn't work particularly well. My computer wasn't top of the line even when new, but it's reasonably recent, reasonably fast, and has a reasonable amount of memory (10.6.3, 2 GB RAM, 2.13 Dual-core processor)... and, while CoH ran at full speed with the settings turned down a bit, CO (even with the settings turned down all the way) often runs unreasonably slow, with framerates measured in seconds-per-frame rather than frames-per-second.
mac pro from 2007
Actually, I have found CO all but unplayable since a few months ago. Something in an update seriously doesn't jive with the wrapper. STO is much better, but the textures do tend to occasionally de-rez on you. It actually impressed me by how much better it acted than CO in a wrapper.
I also agree that CoX's cider port was great. I hardly ever had troubles unless there was a lot of traffic (and that was probably my ISP and wifi for most of that even!). I certainly hope that our Mac port will be seamless as Unreal is Mac friendly to some extent already (mostly iOS, but it shows definite interest in seamless porting.)

Lifelong Mac user. Currently running mountain lion. Also bootcamped either way I am playing lol
Right now I have a 15" Retina MacBook Pro (2012) updated to 10.9. I have Parallels, but I'd prefer to play with a native Mac client.
Edit: The other Macs in my possession are changing frequently, as I restore/upgrade/sell.
I have a 27" iMac (mid 2010) running OS X version 10.8.5.
I'm hoping we'll get a native version of City of Titans as the various Windows2Mac emulators always seem to be a bit on the buggy side.

Thank goodness...,
- ...just loaded Ubuntu on my net book (...really getting tired of Window...). Will be interested to see how well CoT runs on a different OS. :)
Linux is not completely off the table. There has been discussion, but it will not be supported for at least the first few issues I imagine. I'm sure a wine port may be looked at. I am not on the Tech team however, so take that with a large rock of salt.

Meh...no worries,
- ...still, if you're looking to reach a wider audience...hit the folks who have access to freeware. The secret to WoW's success was mass target advertisement (...I mean, c'mon - they got Mr. T and Ozzy to do commercials for crying out loud...). CoX's popularity, however, was the ability to play on even low end computers and (...of course,..) eventually becoming free-to-play...along with everything else that set the bar that all other Superhero MMO's have failed to attain (...as such is shown clearly through the Kickstarter alone - nearly a half-million in dontated funds and growing...). CoX also worked on Mac's, so it's nice to see that CoT will be striving to do the same...if it won't work on Ubuntu, no problem, I'll still keep using Windows (...for now...). ^_^

2008 iMac (8,1) running Mavericks
Though I am looking into getting a gaming PC, since I'm having my doubts that this machine will even be able to handle the next WoW expansion, graphics-wise (certain areas in the current expansion already give me trouble). And I just don't have the fundage for a new Mac :(
I still have my Mac Mini, the 1st one. :)

Late 2013 MBP here, also got a PC sitting around if all else fails though!
I have a Mac as well, late 2013 desktop. The games I already play are so smooth and fluid (The Sims, SimCity), I'd be extremely happy to have a Mac version.
I'd be interested, if someone contacts me when it's available. I'm decent at probing for bugs in video game softwares on Mac OS X since as far back as the release of Leopard. I have a pretty nice set of software from making ports of games and such. I'll be interested when the time comes
With any luck, I'll be getting a new computer sometime in the next couple of months. It will also be a Mac laptop (most likely Quad-core, since this time I am going for a top-of-the-line model), running whatever is newest at the time. I'll be available for testing (or even coding) as well.
Edit on 4/22/2014: Looks like I have to put off the new computer until the end of the year. Still... when I get it, it'll be goooooood. And it'll be a Mac.

You have to install the Star Trek Online wrapper (It's been so long since I installed/played either game I don't have a link, but it is somewhere on the STO forums). It was getting iffy on my system last time I logged on (year ago maybe). Good news is that you can play STO as well and it is a better game that works better with the wrapper (on my Macbook Pro at least....)

Hello fellow macoids. As far as I know (I am not on the tech, UI or gameplay teams) keys should all be programmable much like CoH's were. At least that is the goal.

I'm loving Marvel Heroes 2015 on Mac BUT it still has some issues (because the game wasn't designed in a mac client as well from the beginning). Unreal does MOST of the work but there's a lot of work to be done in the alpha to be sure they work

Update!
Still have a Mac, but it's a new Quad-core i7 running MacOS 10.10. Mmmm, shiny.
Just an FYI. Star Trek Online now has a Mac client. Known Paragonians are working on it (I believe someone named Matt or something ;) ). There was also a fleet of CoX peeps around.

I've an original Macbook Air. Not as powerful processorwise as some but the dedicated graphics card made it run CoX with no problems. :)
Hoping that CoT will run OK on it too. (I can turn it down to minimum graphics settings I'm not picky... :) )
Yeah, I'm on a 2010 Macbook Pro now, but my Powerbook G4 ran CoH ok. Few probs with blooms and very large groups, but good enough for me. I'm not sure what our ending specs will be. I do know that I can use UE4's engine on this machine if I upgrade my OS (on Lion still for my audio programs). If I could make the game on this machine, it looks promising.

Late 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 15" (NVIDEA GT 750M ) here. Used to play CoX on my iMac 27 all the time, the Mac client was great. :-)
Both my kids also played CoX (and plan on playing CoT) using a new Mac Mini and a Macbook Pro 13" Late 2011. The 13" will likely be replaced before CoT comes out, and possibly the 15". Most likely the 15" will roll over to my son and I'll have something newer.
Can't wait to play with CoT in any capacity, my 12 year old daughter has gotten back into Champions Online and asks me almost daily for the latest rumors/info on the CoX successors. She has VERY fond memories of playing CoX with her brother and myself, She made a great Tanker. :-)
