I was curious if being able to customize gameplay with my keyboard was going to be possible in CoT. I loved that about COH being able to solely use my keyboard to play and not have to use the mouse. I was able to change character movement to the up down left and right keys on the keyboard along with auto run using the R key. Please tell me this will be the case in CoT!!!

Customizing Gameplay
Having the ability to make mouse-look either always on or toggle-on instead of wearing out my right mouse button would be awesome.

I don't remember where in the forums it came up, but i believe it was said to expect at least the same amount of key-binding custom-ability as we had in CoH.

The Titan Legacy - Defender of the Inner Flame
Lets hope they put in a proper character escaping system this time. Sick of having to type "Set your bind to: /bind ~ select_target_nearest%%follow" followed by "Change the %'s to $'s."

I hope it can be expanded, so that you can set a *sequence* of same key presses to activate abilities.
Think of how morse code can describe a *whole* set of letters, numbers and punctuation using just dots and dashes (2 different keypresses) in different combinations.
Sure a controller has typically 4 face buttons and 2 shoulder buttons, but a combination of those can hit a *wide* range of abilties.
Being able to use combinations of 2 or 3 button presses to activate an ability *could* well be an option to widen up the range of supported control systems.
And, just like Morse code, the more frequently used things get the shorter sequences…
IIRC, the reason they didn't want it in CoX was because they thought it would just enable botting.

That is why they didnt' want a macro to be able to fire off multiple abilities.
Although, if the game is going to allow macro's, i feel that my suggestion should be considered as well. Key combination presses could quite well appeal to those who play games using a game pad.
Oh definitely. But I'm crazy. I want Lua, man. I want to be able to write a script to pull off plays in game. I really wanted my MM bots to act out Hamlet. Ascendant was on the right track.
