This may not be the best sub-forum or may already have been asked but I cant find a Search option so here goes:
In CoH one thing that really made me 'grind my gears' was player and pet collision, especially in caves.
As a Brute trying to get through the pets/players in front of me was nigh impossible in any low ceiling environment.
Also sometimes Id be standing on a walkway railing above the ground and a Pet would run past and knock me off landing amongst the bad guys.
Now Player/Pet and Enemy collision I think is a good thing, but not player/pet and Player collision.
Thoughts?

I tend to agree, as a former Mastermind player, I constantly felt bad for having my bots block a doorway.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are small, crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.
If I remember correctly a team of mm's with all their pets out was a glorious display, It also lagged just a tiny smidge,,, well maybe a big smidge. I did make getting around a little interesting in the cave maps. Just a thought a free power to move pets out of the way might be fun like in skyrim. Lydia move,, last chance, I warned you,,,Fus Ro Daaaa! lol Actually I might abuse that a tad..
Hip hooters Nee!
CoH was my first MMO, and every subsequent game I've tried which has not had collision between players has caused a huge /facepalm from the iff grom ne. I hate it. It feels utterly stupid that I can walk theough other people like a ghost.
I sympathise with the non-pet players, but i'd rather see realism than inexplicable Kitty Pryde powers given to all.

If they plan to have huge raids then collision would be nice.
I loved large teams in CoH. In CO, you're limited to 5 but teams usually are only 4. It's so empty.

Ah yes, the sweet memories of people getting irate and shouting to move pets because a door has been blocked while the MM is AFK. :P

It's rather clunky atm, but to search, go to the home page and hit search.

They are pets, they should be easily shoved away, the last days of coh had this feature.

i routinely muscled pets aside in CoH. Well, at least after they were made easy to shove. Before that it could be maddening. That said i don't want another MMO where there is no mob/avatar collision at all. In that regard i thought CoH eventually got it just about right.
In theory there's no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.
On the CoH forums at the end i went by the name Schismatrix.
Post hoc ergo propter hoc.
As a Mastermind from beta to close, I found it better if I hung out behind the brute as they were usually in front trying to keep their Rage up. I also stayed in bodyguard mode so the pets wouldn't aggro extra spawns(although some times they did anyways, particularly with zombies). I used "go to" location to move my pets to targeted MOBs so that way the doors were cleared. Team flight and teleport friend were also useful in caves (especially the layer cake cave). All in all I found staying in the back with other support members was the best tactic on a team.
