Hmm, thinking about biting that robbery hook Rotten put out there, unless he wants it to be a solo thing. Could be a good chance for Persona to bust out Psycat.

Didn't really think of anything for the two crooks besides just being generic bank robbers. Figure there should be something else happening besides the fire.

A small note: I'm basing Titan City's University off of the University of Houston's layout and the Museum's being based off of the Oriental Institute, with a few liberties (like taking the Blaffer Art Museum's place). :) It's what I know, so best to use it. RottenLuck: I'm glad you caught the clue about the "Nasty Ones". Ya. Right now, since you have not shown any malevolent intent, you were immune to the effects of the Sacred Green Flame. Even if you *do* RP being nasty, you'd still get a "saving throw" against the Flame (and -- at worst -- get a really bad sunburn if you failed the "roll") since "John Doe" is a player-run character. :)

No problem I didn't make Rotten a Zombie expecting him to be seen as a hero at first. He's a play on those characters like Ghost Rider, Thing, SwampThing, and other monster looking heroes.

I am back (kinda sorta).

I'm a bit disappointed that nobody played AK in either "On Patrol" or "Downtown". I'll try to figure something out RP-wise.

I will be adding in Kartanian to the thread shortly, but I want to absorb the current state a bit more before jumping in.

BACKGROUND: Kartanian is a dimension-hopping feline rogue--a tabaxi, in D&D terms--who spent a great deal of time in the CoX universe. (And, D&D campaigns, and RIFT, and WoW, and Star Wars, etc. *grin*) Something (TBD) has attracted his attention to this new city and he is considering starting up a branch of his gray ops espionage group, Curiosity Kilz, here. Kartanian is a lovable rogue and an incurable romantic. He maintained a relationship with Kalinda for several years before she broke it off. Ability-wise, he is an Incarnate-level Stalker and Kheldian, with a smattering of magical ability for rogue's sake. He figured out a way to make his Kheldian forms and powers appear to be Nictus and pulled off a convincing masquerade for quite a long time, despite being listed as both a hero and a villain in the FBSA databases. Kartanian has drawn smiley faces on the backs of hundreds of Longbow operatives with red permanent marker over the years as a way of taunting them and counting coup.

In forum RP on the League of Titans site (http://lot.whickerweb.net/) Kartanian has managed to save the world at least twice, but he keeps going back to his "gray" pursuits. Mostly, because he is not a moralist or a vigilante, but also because he feels he can do more good killing off villains than saving citizens from fires and petty (in his perspective) crimes.

Oh, yeah... If it matters, his named is pronounced like the Three Musketeers' hero, D'Artagnan, but with a K. (kar-TAN'-ee-an)

Well the Patrol RP kind of slowed down and she was still suffering from being drained. In Downtown she was in the tree it's magic could have blocked her from seeing/knowing about what was going on.

;) Welcome to the beginning of a subplot. Your actions over the next month or so are going to factor in to the Mission Creator missions I'm writing up. Decided to let you all decide who you'll be facing in my first arc once the game (and hopefully the creator) launches.

To kinda put this in CoH Terms, Charky is a Dark/Dark Brute and our mystery man is a Fire/Dark Corrupter with some levitating abilities because what mage CAN'T make stuff float? ;P

You may all curse under your breath now out of remembering how fun (read: long and frustrating) fights against those combinations were. ;D

Means a long battle. Lol Okay Dark/Dark Brutes attacks cause a foe to miss a lot. An -to hit, Damage types Smashing and negative energy. A real pain to fight against because part of the powers allowed the brute/scrapper to drain energy and life from a target and boosts it's own.

The Dark Corrupter has similar powers range based with the -to hit just more range and AOE. The Fire damage plus the dark misma can be a real pain. One of the powers would be Tar patch slow movement often combined with Rain of Fire another AOE.

So basically Dark Negative energy type powers have a -to hit and can play Vampire and feed off the target. Making fights with them longer because you miss a lot and they can heal off of you. Fire kind of self explanatory.

What is this Fi-UR?

Rotten was tough ingame. Had his Regen and Recovery soft capped. As well as high Health and End I could get. Expensive as heck with all the purples but he could fight forever. I remembering fighting the AV Nosferatu for over an hour and he had dark powers. I couldn't get enough damage to knock him down nor could he overwhelm me. Had to call in a friend just to end the stalemate.

hehehehehehe... you probably know what's coming then if you know the song's key changes.
