Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.
To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Satellite9IrezoomieSo far, everyone is still just staring at the other side and waiting for them to make a move.
You know, the sort of anime fight where the first one to blink will probably lose, so they just keep scoping each other out until they see an advantage.

Or to put another way, how the average chess game plays out. :)
It is only when we stand up, with all our failings and sufferings, and try to support others rather than withdraw into ourselves, that we can fully live the life of community.

Well, Unreal Engine does call them "pawns"...

The problem is that they're standing much too far apart to topple like dominoes.

Hail Beard!
Support trap clowns for CoT!
But they do seem close enough to test out AoE:Line attacks...

Satellite9IrezoomieWell, there is sort of a domino line off to the right, only they’re each about 20 feet apart, I think. That lot is supposed to be used for testing individual defense effects, and they needed to be far enough apart to avoid any potential AoE spillover. But the placement was just my best guess, don’t read a lot into it.
They’re supposed to be for testing the NPC combat AI, so I tried to put them in a reasonable-seeming group. Hopefully the AI won’t decide to do a remake of the Three Stooges with their movements or attacks, but we need to know that sort of stuff.
I did assume they might be used for AoE targeting of attacks, but again, the placement was just approximate, basically what looked good to me, no real calculation to it. Tannim’s the calculation guy.

Obviously these targets are social distancing!
The fifth one from the left seems to have missed the memo about displaying one's role/classification above one's head and instead is musing about what he wants to have for lunch.
Seriously, cool to know that this core component of the game is making such progress. Keep up the good work!
Spurn all ye kindle.
Combat testing definitely gets me excited. Hope things go smoothly in the testing.
Being a visual person myself, I agree.
~~when y'all get ready...a quick video added to your you tube channel would be fun.
and much later on, a video of a couple of heroes walking towards the camera with a massive explosion in the background would be SO cool. {Robot Chicken Nerd /OFF}
I wouldn’t expect any fun combat videos for a while; most likely we’ll be using pretty basic animations as placeholders while we get all the other parts of the combat process working. There are a surprising number of sub-pieces to a single attack.
Tech Team
That sounds wise. If you did give us a video with the placeholders, guaranteed we'd complain about the animations rather than concentrating on what was actually being accomplished. :-)
