Did any one ever make a Baron Samedi undead Mastermind?

Back in the old COH days. Today, a Doctor Facilier clone would work with shadow-men/undead as well.
Still the Baron Samedi name is not copyrighted.

I never saw a Samedi in COH. I'm just nosy, did you ever make or see one? it would seem to be a natural association.

On the other hand, he would make for a epic villain for COT to use as well.

I suspect Saturday is not

I suspect Saturday is not terribly well known despite being my personal favorite loa.

I don't recall ever seeing someone referencing him.

I did have an undead mastermind with a fantastic story and desperately want to remake them. They were not related to that classy character Samedi other than being related to the spheres of death and music.

Also nice use of that SMITE artwork, I love the aesthetics they went with for him. The music, animations, and other Vodou related cosmetics were well done too.

Pity. All the costume

Pity. All the costume elements were there. It would have been a natural connection.

over to Paragon Chat, and

I just ran over to Paragon Chat, and after a few minutes in the CoH character creator... Voila'!

oh, interestingly enough, all the costume items were called "baron" ....gee. I wonder if someone in the CoH dev team had this in mind?

I like to take your ideas and supersize them. This isn't criticism, it is flattery. I come with nothing but good will and a spirit of team-building. If you take what I write any other way, that is probably just because I wasn't very clear.

I had a character like him

I had a character like him but not the same as I didn't even know whom Baron Samedi was back in those days.

It would of been a cool idea though. Hell you can probably make an Baron Samedi expy an hero actually as Baron Samedi was commonly depicted as an more benevolent death psychopomp. Not an evil or scary one.

People mostly define death gods (and similar beings) as evil because Death is a scary thing they don't want to happen. I honestly find some comfort in the fact that basically every death based spiritual entity is kind, or at least friendly.

An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".

I knew a few. I even had

I knew a few. I even had characters with the names Tomb of Samedi, Tomb de Samedi, and a third I cannot remember the name of all of a sudden.

I met/saw several. In CO too

I met/saw several. In CO too. And in TSW. Kind of an obvious idea, really. Like Huck said, the CoT devs seemed to have assumed people'd do it. It'd have been surprising if there weren't any. Guaranteed there'll be at least a few in CoT.

TSW had a very obvious Baron Samedi character for their Halloween mission series. Entertaining, to say the least, although the first part was kind of annoying in the vagueness of the clue.

Mr Bocor was clearly a shout

Mr Bocor was clearly a shout out to the Loa.

But I had one. Then realized I'm a touch too much a good guy to fully realize him. (Especially after Papa Legba on American Horror Story, holy crow he was good.)

So instead, I went with an arms dealer who was caught in the underworld and brought back an army.

I made his "epic" costume look a lot like Samedi. Top Hat, skull face painted, etc.

I did still make a Necromancy/Dark Miasma Mastermind, but I just used the name of a necromancer D&D character I made 20-something years ago.

"Mr. Bocor" may be a Samedi reference, but "Bokor" can also be a more general term for a sorcerer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokor
