Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Tyrosine Corp Threat Matrix computer scene I want to see.

I loved the computer scene from The Incredibles. and it brings to mind a great scene we could run into on a Tyrosine mission.
------------The Threat Matrix-------------------
The player is infiltrating the corporation and runs into a room like the one below.
All he really can see is a black and white bust of himself and a threat level equal to his level. So its not a direct rip off of the Pixar scene.

1) What do you think? Would this be cool enough to include?
2) How difficult would it be to put in the game? And would it be worth putting in?

I love this idea a lot

I love this idea a lot actually and would take it a step further. A big thing in incredibles was that the threat matrix was entirely a thing of Syndrome’s design, and as a result it was sometimes not entirely accurate in its representation of a hero’s power. The numbers were assigned by Syndrome, as I understand it though I could be wrong.

For example, the very first hero he took out was given a threat level of 2.9. This hero was Universal Man, who had an absolutely insanely strong power. Like, to the degree that I could only imagine he was defeated because the Omnidroid caught him totally off guard similar to how it startled Mr Incredible (both times actually). Universal has the kind of power that, when caught unaware, might be hard to activate. Basically he had atomic density and matter manipulation. The ability to screw with physics by changing your mass from that of a fly to that of a freight train would be bonkers. Plus he could make himself indestructible at will - but the kicker was that it needed to be at will.

Okay so that got longer than expected. My point is, I would love to see something that has the ability to “misunderstand” a hero or villain to be weaker than he or she actually is. Like the person at Tyrosine doing the inputting that day actually just got a “bad first impression” and didn’t realize.

Just some thoughts I have.

It would be cool as part of a multi-mission mini-arc. The first time you fight it, you wax the floor with it. But the final mission, it's Elite Boss level difficult.

The Altruist, Invulnerability/Super Strength Stalwart.

Sounds a little like

Sounds a little like Snaptooth in the CoH valentine missions. You had to fight him like 3 times and he got harder each time. I could usually solo him the first two times but the third time... it was hit or miss.

'Course, I tended to play empathy defenders so that might have had something to do with it.

All Purpose Frog

Wait until you see the... nope, that would ruin the surprise.

Hmmm what your describing sounds a bit more to me like the Omnidroid in the Incredibles. I.E. the first time he fought it, Mr Incredible defeated it handily, albeit with some back bending maneuvers. The second time he fought it, the Omnidroid totally overpowered him in a heartbeat.

I’m all for having this, btw. Repeat encounters with an improving and increasingly intelligent foe would be a great thing to have in this game. Additionally it could go beyond a “robot built by Tyrosine”. Things like this could be utilized as your character goes through his or her central character arc. Imagine somebody who continues to improve over time - the first encounter being a level 5 guy who you smack around with ease - and grows into a kind of nemesis to your character?

From “just another Hellion on the street” to “the Lord Recluse to your Statesman”.
