Camelot, it all started with this bloody sword... Lets just say, never best a king.
"A sad spectacle. If they be inhabited, what a scope for misery and folly. If they be not inhabited, what a waste of space." ~ Thomas Carlyle
"They call me the Betrayer, the Scourge of the Desert. A madman, drunk on power. I killed The War Council. I condemned my allies and I desecrated my name. It was the only way to protect my Queen. They would have destroyed her, sent us to a war we could not win, and ruin our people. My blade could not rest idly by as my mentor pushed for a bloody conflict. The Queen knew of the plot, but was powerless to stop it. I confronted her about it, and together, we decided the best course of action. If the Queen sent an assassin against the War Council, she be stripped of her title. We had no proof bu the words I heard the Council Leader speak those days. In confidence, my mentor explained his plan. We argued, but after the meeting with the Queen, I publicly supported him. On the night of his assured victory, I drew my blade. His blood painted the walls of our tent, and then made my way through the camp, like an artist does a painting. Each stroke was a perfect strike, a wonderful counter, or an exquisite assassination. I made my way to the Queen, leaving the bodies where they fell. I stood before her, and raised my blade. This was the on ly way, she needed to have deniability. She could not be connected to my most heinous crimes. As my blade came down, her bodyguards intervened and captured me, according to my plan. My people do not believe in execution, unless there is no other way. I was judged and sent into Exile. Forced to wander under our red sun with only my blade, the last remnant about my past I was allowed to bring with me. As they dragged my rom the tent, I heard something. A voice. A voice that should not have been able to speak. The War Council Leader stepped from the shadows with creatures I did not recognize. I screamed but no one seem to see him. He stepped back into the shadows as they slipped the bag over my head. I woke up here."
Puravesh Genaiyah aka The Bridgeman.
Description: A late-middle-aged man of indeterminate race with long gray horse-like hair on his head and seemingly no natural facial hair. One eye's pupil is slit and blue, the other is regular and brown. One hand has dark, crooked, claw-like fingernails, and the other is relatively normal. Puravesh dresses in patchwork clothes that fit whatever area he's currently traveling through and look poor to homeless in quality.
Powers/abilities: The Bridgeman's powers are dark and twisted. He's been seen killing a bird only to use its blood to open an old forgotten goblin market gate. He was spotted staring at someone from a hidden vantage point, muttering to himself for an hour only to have that someone suffer a long series of unfortunate events afterwards. One such curse target even went insane and attacked his own family within six hours of Puravesh's glare, and up until then, that target had been a model father and husband.
History: The Bridgeman is from another Earth. His physical oddities, such as the one odd eye, come from the unpredictable nature of the ritual magic he practices.
Exile: Puravesh was hunted all over his Earth for practicing magic to contact the lost gods. While magic is much more common on his Earth, essentially replacing the progress of technology, this particular form of magic was highly illegal and punishable by death. The Bridgeman himself was executed at least twenty times, but each time he would be seen exiting an uninhabited building a week or so later, unharmed, even if multiple witnesses saw his body completely destroyed. It is thought this semi-immortality (can be killed, but doesn't stick) is from one of his dark rituals. Perhaps their attempts to permanently contain or kill him were getting too close to the mark, but for whatever reason, he decided to leave. You see, the authorities had opened a one-way portal to exile him through. They were attempting to plan an elaborate way to get him through the portal without him knowing (lest he kill himself still on that side and pop back up later). Much to their surprise, while they were meeting to come up with a strategy, he quietly strolled through their compound and willingly stepped through the one-way gate.
You see, The Bridgeman knew something they didn't. He knew the lost gods were in between worlds, and so it didn't matter which Earth he was on. He also knew the people of this other Earth would be unaware of his identity and have no idea how to contain him. Here, perhaps, he can finally forge ahead without interference.
The Degenerate: The Degenerate lived in an alternate reality of Titan City that was blown up by a nuke in a nuclear apocalypse. The Degenerate got his name for being a sociopathic raider, at one point though he was tricked into going through a portal that many thought was a portal to hell, when it reality it was a one way door to our Titan city.

I can barely remember when I was just a woman, just a girl, but I was one - once.
I can just remember the first time the Goddess came to me, came into me, came over me, filled me, possessed me, spoke through me, and worked miracles through my hands.
And not just one goddess, but all goddesses, who are one goddess, over and over, through time.
I journeyed from place to place and people to people, as time passed.
Goddess-touched, I grew no older, I did not die - I went on.
Filled with power and miracles, I remained powerful.
I was Inanna. I was Ishtar. I was Isis.
I was Ashera, Astarte, Anahit, Artemis, Athena.
Many goddesses and one.
But she came less often.
And less often.
And not at all.
I was alone.
For a long time.
Now it is a new time, a new place, with new gods and goddesses.
And I am here.
The woman called Astarte Tsovinaar is strikingly beautiful, tall, voluptuous, and athletic, with dark caramel skin, a waist-length cascade of blue-black hair, and luminous green eyes. In her lifetime, she has played every role, from princess to slave, priestess, warrior, and abject peasant. She has been exalted to the heavens and ground into the dirt, been the conquering heroine, adored by all, and hidden in desperate terror as enemy conquerors rode through.
With such breadth of experience, it’s hardly surprising that she seems comfortable and confident in any situation. She is frankly brilliant, intuitive, and wise - she has seen… Everything. Several times. This gives her a sense of ancient, cool serenity. However, when her passions are engaged… she can go from cool reason to towering divine rage in minutes. This is not schizophrenia, but simply a woman who accesses the full range of her emotional expression without fear or guilt.
She is an 'outcast in time' and there is no going back, for her. She is a 'time traveler' in the purest sense, having traveled through time (the hard way) from the pre-history to the present.
Be Well!
Fireheart

I created the shortest possible character, made her a claws scrapper, and declared she was kicked out of pixie society for being too big of an oaf.

The very existence of the taunting tank irritates, for it requires idiotic AI that obeys the taunt.
I’m a refugee from Planet Botanica. My people are a race of plant-men, the Botanican Republic. We were a peaceful and cultured place until the Herbivorean Empire (a race of violent vegetarian despots) invaded and began to wipe out the planet’s population.
I was a scientist specializing in quantum physics and during the invasion I used an experimental transportation device to send myself and my young lab assistant to the closest inhabitable planet, which happened to be Earth. The device had an unexpected side effect, however; it imbued both myself and my assistant with the power to control and emit electricity.
Now I fight crime as Vegetabolt, and my assistant fights with me as my sidekick, Tazer Tot. We have come to Titan City seeking help from other heroes so we may return to Botanica and save my people.
It's funny but after reading just this one sentence I figured this post was going to be weed-oriented. ;)
Tazer Tot... Priceless! *golf clap*

It's good. I might have tried to work Vegemite into it at some point, but that might just be me. ;)

My eldest an I have a running disagreement about meat eating versus vegetarian ways. So I just love that the vegetarians despots are the bad guys in this!
Of course I don’t see how they could have the energy to be too violent for a protracted invasion! Lol

Thanks to you both. Vegetabolt was an actual character I played in DCUO on my PC (actually I think I still have that character if I ever logged back in). He just has the “plant” skin.
And there’s no weed reference intended, I picture him looking more like anthropomorphic broccoli (something DCUO’s limited character customization doesn’t really let me do).
Edit: As to Vegemite, it could function like Kryptonite to Botanicans.
My name is Yenich’ka kin Rekzhavi (my friends call me Yeni), and I’m not from this world. Maybe not even from this universe, although it’s possible that this world simply hasn’t developed the technology that would enable me to find my way home yet, and I’m just in a distant part of the galaxy. I’m certainly the only Khitra’ni on this world. My species originated on the planet Khitra, which in my language means ‘home’, but I grew up on the colony world of Nerk’la. I had just completed my nirstom and become an adult, and was returning to Khitra to complete my graduate studies. My ship was nearly at the jump gate when invaders attacked Nerk’la. Just as my ship reached the gate, fire from the invaders hit it and damaged it. (Jump gates are a means of crossing interstellar distances much faster than standard FTL drives. What would take weeks using standard FTL takes hours using a jump gate.) The next thing I knew was waking up, my ship having crash-landed on this world. My mother, who was on the ship with me (she was a photonic interface designer who worked for a company on Khitra - she had accompanied me home for my nirstom and was returning to work), died in the crash. I have no idea if my other parents are even still alive; their jobs were on Nerk'la, so they weren’t on the ship.
The air is a bit thin here, and the gravity weak, but I’ve adjusted...I try to help people when I can, but I really just want to go home.
Yeni is 5’3”, has jet black skin with a pattern of bioluminescent spots and stripes covering much of her body, white hair in a ponytail, pointed ears, a very slight muzzle (with fangs), and solid reflective eyes. She’s fit, agile, and graceful, and as her comment about the low gravity on earth implies, is very strong by earth standards. She prefers clothing that shows off the bioluminescent markings and also wears an earring that has a chain connecting it to a stud in her right nostril - there are three small charms in the shape of different symbols attached to the chain, and another hanging from the stud in her earlobe at the end of the chain. (If asked, she will explain what each symbol means.)
Considering that Vegemite is a semi-nasty yeast-based product that's all brown and sticky it would probably make a reasonable "yucky" substance to serve as a Botanican Kryptonite. ;)

"I am Ariset zai-Kell, Valdorii ambassador, captain of the scout ship Pathfinder.
I am sending this transmission in the hopes of contacting the defenders of Earth, the champions of Titan City.
Recently, my home planet was ravaged by an alien species known as the Therus. Our colonies have gone silent, blockaded by Therus hiveships. Our leaders are gone, fed to the hives. Everyone has been killed or enslaved, and I am one of the few that managed to escape. My ship is beyond repair, and my crew scattered across the galaxy in search of help. My home is now forever beyond my reach.
I am Captain zai-Kell, the Starchaser. And I have come to Earth to warn you: prepare yourselves.
The hive is coming."

You would think Ranch salad dressing would be far deadlier. And it would be a psychological weapon as well, bring the Herbivore invasion so close to mind.
