Power Customization Question

Let's say I want an attack that's a knock up. Would it be possible to have it start with a Storm Kick and as I the character lands back on the ground a pillar of rock knocks them up from beneath their feet?

Is that just a matter of the devs making the animation and choosing it? Or something else?

I only ever caught a couple

I only ever caught a couple of episodes of that show, but yes, it looks like it would be something akin to that. Though I was still thinking Storm Kick -> Land on the ground -> Earth Pillar in my head :)

Yeah, earth bending in the

Yeah, earth bending in the show is a lot of stomps and strong movements. It would take ages to sift through both shows to try and find something close to what you'd said.

Hopefully we can get a lot of aesthetics that are martial arts movements for both close and ranged attacks. Being able to have a character drive their heel down and have some effect erupt from beneath an opponent, or punch and send effects at a far target would be welcomed.

Also being able to add trails to our melee attacks so we can shoryuken

Or similar would be awesome.

It is possible.

It comprises of two layers - the animation and the visual effects.
The animator would need to make a “storm kick” animation.

The vfx artist would need to make a stone pillar hit effect.

You, the player would then select them at some point in your character creation process (or later through leveling up).

As an aside, it could also be a gust of wind, a burst of flame, sudden plant / root growth, a telekinetic band, you get the idea.

We are only limited by the type of animation and visual effects that we can create and add to the game.
