RPing my character, I often had her playing pokemon...even had a running gag that some how she was never able to catch a pikachu even though it was her most sought after pokemon!

Dread would have an mixed team of frightening contenders (based on appearance or pokedex entries)
-Bisharp (blade factory)
-Bannette (pokedex entry implies that it hunts and kills it former owner)
-Mawile (giant maws in place of horns looks pretty lethal and it's nicknamed ''Deciever Pokemon'')
-Aggron (This thing looks like it could kill you without even trying
-Aerodactyl (supposedly was a maneater)
-Frillish (no evolved form, implied to of killed sailors)
Enigma would probably pick more feminine pokemon as a joke

Guess y'all deserve an explanation for FP's pokeymans. If you hadn't guess...
-The obvious one is Braviary who's the one poke who screams 'MURICA! the most. I mean what's more patriotic than a bald eagle AND a brave warrior fused together?
-The same goes for Bouffalant, who not only represents America's majestic bison but it's charge head first attitude reflects the red, white and blue bruiser perfectly.
-Hitmochan reflects Patriot's love of boxing and how no matter how many different martial arts he learns, the star-spangled slugger will always rely on the sweet science.
-Bastiodon is on the team for being known as the shield pokemon and also being a dinosaur, showing how FP sometimes feels like an old fossil.
-Chesnaught is FP's starter for being modeled after a knight/paladin, something Patriot see's himself as. Also helps that Chesnaught has a move called "spiky shield"
-Sandslash is on his team for being able to curl into a ball and hurl itself an attack called 'rapid spin' that reminds of a spinning shield. That and armadillos are simply cool and native to the Lone Star State
