One addition I think would be terrific would be a distinction between a power set with Wrestling moves such as familiar grappling, bearhugs, clothes-lines and including judo and capoeira-inspired moves, and a more directly aggressive Street-Fighting power set, comprising boxing, kickboxing and muay thai-inspired moves.
Being able to specifically customize your toon/avatar as a wrestler or luchador compared to a kickboxer etc holds obvious appeal.
Thoughts?

I would think such a set as wrestling/judo/capoeira would require mechanics of throwing/grappling inanimate objects too. I haven't any programming experience or research, but i feel like picking up a car or rock or tree or box is a prerequisite to performing a hip-throw. That being said, I do hope we will be able to pick up/grapple objects and enemies in CoT, I'd always felt super strength wasn't complete without the ability to pick up cars and throw them at Hellions.
If throwing objects are implemented, I do hope the Devs take it to the next step and develop such a powerset.
I had left CoH (due to RL) before street righting was implimented, but being a martial arts expert who can throw thugs around like nothing is very different that a "street hero" who just boxes and kicks knees in.
The only problem I see is with AVs and Giant Monsters (if they get in, which would be AWESOME); does it make sense to toss Bat'Zul or Babbage around like nothing?

I think that the issue with Grappling is the anchor-points and making those work on differently sized bodies. And consider the difficulty of making those work with a character that can fly or leap? Suddenly, Mister Gripper is swept off his feet by The Kangaroo's prodigious jump. It would, probably only work, if the grappled-one was immobilized.
