So, my daughter, Wren, has (or, will have) a character in CoT who's super-hero name is Little Bird (because a wren is a little bird). What will or should we call her when she grows up? She can't be Little Bird when she's a grown teenager (and let me tell you, she'd going to be *tall*, just like her Dadou!) and we sure as hell can't call her Big Bird! I've been thinking about Lady Bird, which is also a name for a ladybug (which she likes, too), but that may invoke memories of Lady Bird Johnson to you history buffs.
So, what do you think?
Taking the view that the 'little' need not describe the person/character, she could keep the name.
Looking at less than the whole bird we get options such as the crowd favorite, Talon, or something like Lady Wing. There is the more generalist approach with The Avian or she could take a page from Batman.

'Little' Bird could still be ironic... or simply deceptive. On the other hand, there are some darned Feisty little birds, like Kestrels, Falcons, Bantams, and Hummingbirds! I had a fun Energy/Energy Blaster named 'El Colibri'.
She could also adopt the name of some other bird. Wren or Robin, Blackbird or Magpie, Cardinal or Jay, Sparrow or Starling, Dove or Mockingbird... mmm, those might be taken. Frankly, they're ALL probably taken somewhere. Lady Bird is also good - I doubt she'll ever meet someone who would confuse her with the wife of a President.
I think the best choice is to leave it up to your daughter to choose a name and Define it for herself.
Be Well!

IMHO that depends on what happens between now and then. She might want to be called Starling by then, for example.
So don't worry about this yet; it won't be an issue for a long time. Just watch and enjoy, and delegate it to her.

^This.
As a parent with an 11 year old, I can tell you, it can and will change from now till the game's release.
What Lin said.
However, if you're still desperate for suggestions, there's always Sparrow Hawk.
If you want a more "exotic" sounding name, the word "Tsubasa" is the Japanese word for "wing" and can be found in plenty of manga titles (especially those associated with angel-winged characters, either literally or figuratively).

Thank you for your input. I suppose I am just a little excited to see my little girl joining me in the City. Also, for those who have suggested "Wren" for her hero-name, "Wren" is her given name. ;-)
so.....? it's awesome, isn't it?
If my given name wasn't "Darkness Deathdealer" I'd totally use my given name in Titans.

"but that may invoke memories of Lady Bird Johnson to you history buffs."
Would that be a bad thing?

Cool, but she'll be bigger when she's older. She's already a head taller than the rest of her class (as a six-year old, she's often mistaken for an eight-year old). "Little" won't be an adjective we'll be able to use when she hits puberty. *sigh* I am terrified of puberty. When you have a boy, you have to watch just one boy; when you have a girl, you have to watch *all* the boys.
Can still call her little! It's like calling a fat person slim!
O.o
I...actually hadn't thought of that. And it'd be an ironic thing since she'll be the size of Wonder Woman when she's done growing. ;-)

There's some fun chains you can do from that association. Longbow. Cobra. Scout.

What's wrong with Little Bird growing up to be Wren?
If she prefers a variant, there are nine species of wrens native to North America:
Canyon Wren, Carolina Wren, Bewick's Wren, House Wren, Marsh Wren, Rock Wren, Sedge Wren, Winter Wren, Cactus Wren
Some of those would work for elemental subthemes too (particularly Rock and Winter).
