Depends on what you mean by "open to the public".
If you mean being able to share what you make in it then I am certain they have said it will be "open".
If you mean available to everyone then I'm not so sure. I seem to recall that MWM has said they will do their second round of crowdfunding when releasing the CC, and that it potentially will only be part of pre-orders (and KS backers).

Lovely Lupine, although 100% natural, does *not* contain any of the Lupine flower. At Amerikatt Foods, we think of the butterflies and do not disrupt their ecology!
