I wonder what game are you currently playing ?
I tried DCUO but..it's really action oriented and it's more like Marvel Heroes than CoH to me... And i'm looking for a game which could help me waiting for CoT ^^ (or, at lest, the character creator !). Any ideas ?

Been playing Minecraft Skyfactory quite a bit, there is definitely enough to do in that Mod to pass weeks/months of time away.

The current game that I've been playing (for the past 6 and half years now) has been Champions Online :P mainly because I have a lifetime subscription to this game and still casually RP there. Trying my best to hold out for CoT where hopefully it can breathe some new light into me since I'm feeling rather fatigued with CO and it's lack of content.

Not sure if it's your cup of tea or not, but Saints Row 4 has a pretty nice character creator. Super Powers. And even some superhero tights and costume options. I may or may not have created my main CoH character and just ran around blasting and punching aliens and yelling "Die Rikti scum! Die!"
It's obviously not a superhero game like CoH or any of the other MMO's but it's a good time.
Actually, I have played and beaten Saints Row 4. I will admit it is pretty fun although it gets a bit to be nerve-wracking with the killer robots trying to kill you once they're introduced. I own it for the PS3 and reminded me a lot of the Prototype series with the game's gliding mechanics and super speed abilities :P
It certainly is one of those games in which I play to pass time because killing aliens and simulation programs can get to be too fun for me.

On November 15, 2017, DC Universe Online will be releasing Episode 30: "Earth-3".
Earth-3 is ruled by the Crime Syndicate of America, which is the evil version of the Justice League of America. Basically, we will be fighting the evil versions of Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, The Flash, and others!

I am not an "Elite" player, so I will not be able to even try for it, but Owl Man gear (regular and elite) is the top tier gear to chase after. DCUO trying "Earth-3" as an Event/Episode combo and will have 3 iterations of it -- 1) Open World; 2) Duos, Alerts, Raids; and 3) Elite.

If you want to try Earth-3 (either on Test or on the regular server on/after 11/15/17), the (golden) portal is on your left just before you reach Mogo/Amazon Fury portals in Watchtower.

I've been playing Guild Wars 2 recently, but the events of today have all but killed my will to play it until they get rectified.
See, they launched mount skins, something the community has been waiting for expectantly for a while. Except, they made the mount skins basically a loot box drop; 30 new mount skins, some of them just recolors of the default skins. Any time you buy a skin, it gives you one of the 30 you don't already have at random.
I'm basically looking for another game to get into at the moment because of that mess. I'm so, so happy nothing like that is going to be in CoT.
An infinite number of tries doesn't mean that any one of those tries will succeed. I could flip an infinite number of pennies an infinite number of times and, barring genuine randomness, they will never come up "Waffles".

Actually going through some older stuff in my Steam library - picked up Dragon Age Origins during a sale ages ago but never did play it, so I'm running through that one now.

i played skyforge for a while, it's a decent game but it does a require a big amount of grinding to advance.
but if you want something that can keep you fairly occupied for a time you might want to check it out.

I think I beta'd it a bit? I don't remember, it was either in Beta or RIGHT after launch, but my computer didn't run it very well so it was always a bit choppy (particularly in the city, very laggy), so eventually I gave up on it.
My current game time is mostly spent waffling between a VERY heavily modded Fallout 4, and Elder Scrolls Online, while not really finding either 100% fulfilling.
I am looking forward to Bonus Currency Weekend, which starts after server reset tomorrow (Thursday) and lasts until server reset on Monday.
I am also looking forward to the launch of Earth-3 on November 15. I fondly recall fighting Amerikatt's pink-clad doppleganger in CoH.

So, i created an account on DCUO and Skyforge :D (which seems pretty good). What i can tell is that these MMOs are really action oriented. Just kill the mobs… I hope CoT will not turned like this :/ More deep stories or choices or quests (other than killing ennemies, i.e concentrate your power to overload a engin or to burn a toxic fluid, etc). I confident ^^

Same here. I play it with my friend, we RP, and we'll twist the lore for our own story purposes.
Also: shotgun is probably the best ranged weapon in my opinion.

Yes. They each have a special ability, which is available at Level 60.
After you complete Constantine's artifact quest (which becomes available at character level 20), you will have the opportunity to choose 1 of 3 artifacts (there are currently 5 available in-game, with the other 2 available for 100 Marks of Victory). The procs are listed on the individual artifact (which is why I did not list them previously).
The 5 abilities are:
Azarathian Fortitude: Using a Group Power Heal grants you and 7 group members Health equal to 12% your Vitalization.
Quantum Reinforcement Field: Hitting an enemy with a Pull grants you and up to 7 group members Health equal to 11.5% of your Dominance.
Might of Ungrund: Hitting an enemy with a superpower grants Might equal to 1.2% of your Health.
Jade Flame's Vitality: Using a Group Health grants you and up to 7 group members Health equal to 7.5% of your Restoration.
Savagery of Mageddon: Hitting an enemy with a Cross-Weapon Combo attack grants you and up to 7 group members Precision equal to 0.75% of your Health.

I play (mostly) melee DPS as Blade/Shotgun and I approve this message.
I have to agree. It's not the same, as you point out, but there were moments when I got a similar feeling to the one I used to have playing CoX.
And speaking of that feeling while being clearly a different game, I was surprised to find that LEGO Marvel Superheroes did it for me also. Sure, the game is styled to look like toys, but flying through downtown Manhattan felt a lot like traversing Steel Canyon.
