Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Eh, I always assumed CoH was set in an alternate and/or slightly futuristic world which could explain and/or justify anything along those lines.

I would vote against having a World Trade Center "Twin Towers", as it might evoke sad feelings in people, and is not really something we'd see in the real-world Massachusetts.

Yes I knew CoH was supposed to be in Rhode Island and that CoT is supposed to be in Massachusetts. My point was that this game was always clearly meant to be in a slighty "alternate earth" to the real one. I mean how many actual superpowered people do you see running around real life Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts? ;)
Thus I see nothing technically wrong with something like a "Twin Towers" complex being in the new game because we are not talking about "real-world" Massachusetts here. I might not put towers like that in the game from the political correctness point of view, but that's an entirely different reason why it might not be appropriate.

Remeber if they are not basing the game directly in a huge city like Boston they could really make up any kind of "skyline" for this hypothetical place they want.

Hmmm, a pretty skyline. Good stuff, but yeah, WTC Twin Towers would be risky, very risky. If people think losing a game is a sore spot, deal with a WTC survivor (aka someone closed to them died) or general symbolism feelings. Some may take it as in a game as those symbols being reduced to a joke, a game, something being played with. And while many people probably just go meh, trust me, we don't want that type of trouble. Society at a whole is already a bit sore about violence in games (FPS and GTA series.) then playing around with the symbols may be one that wont add a good spotlight.
But of course could always add them in there just to see what happens.
'The Twin Towers", there are no others. At least not to me.
I was thinking a tribute to them and the people they have meaning for. I live in NYC.

I wouldn't want it. This is why. I knew someone that was there, he wasn't near the buildings but he did get hit by the debris. Now put yourself in the shoes of someone that was there or knew someone that didn't get out. Would you want to see a copy of The Twin Towers? A monument yeah a statue yeah, a digital recreation of the towers in a city other then the Big Apple? My gut says no.
Then you have children who wasn't even born in 2001 having to ask Mom and Dad about the importance of the buildings.
Like Jag said it's risky, VERY risky. I would prefer a statue of the fire fighters putting up the flag. It would even work in game lore a group of Firefighters putting the flag up after Hurricane Atlas.

That's the risky part. Some would, some would think it's tacky, others would have post traumatic stress disorder kick in. There are just to many memories to bring up. City of Titans is meant to be fun in a carnival/theme park way. It already has a depressing monument for the members of the community who died and wouldn't be joining us.
As much as I would like to see a Twin Towers digital memorial I just don't see it working in Titan city. Same reason why key things in War games aren't done not enough time have passed. Six Days in Fallujah hit major controversy because that was based on events in the Iraq war.
Given that City of Titans is an home made volunteer game we really can't afford to have controversy. Not that it not a good idea just that it is risky and no matter how it seems it will stir up mud.

Whom I doubt all have identical opinions on things. It's perfectly fine for you to say that you would like the inclusion. You cannot, however, speak for everyone in New York or even everyone in the immediate vicinity of the Towers.

To say you were more affected than someone else is what I think is inappropriate, Regardless of your feelings on the subject, other people are going to feel differently. I'm not trying to start an argument with you, or be a jerk, but what you're saying, whether you mean it this way or not, is that your feelings (and the feelings of people you know) are more important than other peoples feelings. Let's just leave sensitive issues out of it.

I always knew not everyone would feel the same. That is why I said 'most'.
