I'm new to COT so I don't know if the character creator will support this character. That's okay, THIS is the character I will be playing regardless of how he looks.
Troicheil's stats:
Name: Troicheil
Known Aliases: Troy Hill
Place of Origin: Sliabhaile, Fuil Fhuar Clan
Group Affiliations: Watchfire
Age: 200 in dwarf years, about 30 in human terms.
Gender: Male.
Species: Dwarf, extra-planar.
Height: 5’0”.
Weight: 300 lbs.
Eyes: Bright blue.
Hair: Red, pulled into pony tail. Full red beard.
Powers/Abilities: Defensive character. Weapon based attacks. Heals. Can see in the dark. Physically very strong. Think kick-ass paladin vs wimp WOW paladin. Knowledgeable with melee weapons, particularly hammers, swords and pole arms.
Equipment: Plated rmor, shield, hammer. The armor and hammer are not magical per say, but are designed to channel his powers. The shield is a high magical item which is sentient, Troi can throw it for a ranged attack. Troi does not wear a cape: imagine having a giant coming up behind you, grabbing your cape, swinging you around his head and throwing you across a battlefield.
Origin: Troicheil is a dwarf ‘holy’ warrior who is from another plane. His home culture is roughly modeled off of Celtic myth. He was transported to this plane via a magical explosion during a pitched battle between his dwarven clan and invading giants.
On his home plane he had paladin-like powers, getting his powers from three gods. At the height of his powers he could smite enemies in droves, act as a focal point for troops and heal masses of allies of wounds and ailments, and raise the dead. On this plane he is much reduced. Upon first coming to this plane he was completely powerless. His powers are now slowly returning.
Personality: Troicheil comes across as the archetypical gruff, grumpy dwarf to most people. This is partly due to him being a gruff, grumpy dwarf but it also due to his forced isolation from others. Dwarves are naturally gregarious and have large extended families. Being alone has taken its toll on Troicheil and his attitude is a reflection of his pain. He is also troubled by the poverty he sees people living in in comparison to others. He loves to watch the Three Stooges, over and over and over and over. He drinks light beer and has a keg on tap. He thinks Guinness Stout is a light beer.
Favorite non-Stooges movie: Lord of the Rings, Gimli reminds him of a cousin.

I don't call myself a writer and I'm not quitting my day job.
