Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Is there an in-game encyclopedia?

Is there an in-game encyclopedia?

I was wondering if all the lore could be documented for the player to read. For example, of the many, many characters in the setting do you think we could read about their biographies in the game itself? We have the Cape Chasers as the in-story wiki about all things super, but can we actually access it to learn more about characters ranging from Anthem to Captain Orbit to Patchwork to Cumulus Rex? Or read about past events like Hurricane Atlas? Or the various organizations in the setting?

I just think an in-game encyclopedia would be very useful for fleshing out the world. Anything like that?

Heh. Finally ... a use for City Information Terminal kiosks.

Could also put this sort of thing into "library" building locations and have it be a Supergroup Base item for being able to access game lore info (think wiki pages) while still inside the game for added Roleplay value.

i was about making a wiki

**edit**
i read too quickly ^^ i didn't see there was about ingame ! :/
**end**

i was about making a wiki.titanscity.com website in FR an US but i have no time for this :/ (i don't even know how a wiki works lol so i need to learn about it, that's why i didn't talk about it before)
But, if someone wants, i can give an access to handle it (in US, but i need to know before, how i can make the wiki both in US and FR and prepare some other languages)

Just beware that the domain name will be wikioftitans.com but i must wait 'til the end of february to move the domain ^^ (that's why, the url is still wiki.titanscity.com)

I'm hoping we'll have an option to click an NPC to see his/her bio just like with player characters -- assuming we'll still have that, of course.

Spurn all ye kindle.

In a previous stream, a system (like clicking on a computer) was shown and allows us to access internet within the game. This could be an opportunity to access a wiki or another website to have you information but i don't remember if warcabbit told us if this was implemented or not or if it will be implemented at all

I'd prefer it be a dialogue option for NPCs.

Holy crap... I don't think I ever realize just how huge Issue 2 was in terms of content.

I'm not sure why you'd want a wiki in-game. Some kind of background reference thing, sure that would be nice, someone just has to write it all and someone else has to implement the UI and plug it into the library or the aforementioned info kiosks or something. But a player-editable wiki in-game? We'd probably be better off with an out-of-game wiki, like ParagonWiki. (Full disclosure: I contributed a lot to ParagonWiki back in the day and am biased toward it.)

Aye, I'd much rather have a player-maintained reference like ParagonWiki.

Still, I hope there will be some lore snippets in the game, like NPC bios, historical plaques, etc.

Spurn all ye kindle.

I was thinking something like the Codex from Mass Effect. It really helped flesh out the world without having to look it up on the wiki, which makes me appreciate that much more.

Yeah, I'd like an in world

Yeah, I'd like an in world lore repository. Helps that lore feel more official than on a Wiki. Even if it's just some key history points, or something.

Especially for lore involving what types of non-human entities have rights. I had been involved in many a discussion in Champions Online about that topic, and it'd be nice to just tell people to go read the lore, or lore entry such-and-such to prove a point rather than someone quoting a page in some out of date supplemental book of the source material.

Could also be a use for the player Base Computer system. You can be like Batman and sit at your secret base and bring up files of known villains.
