Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Teleportation

hello

first sorry about bad grammar tried to fix as much as i could also sorry if there has already been a
post about teleportation and how it could work in game

teleportation is a difficult movement to control as such i have a suggestion that may work and satisfy
a loot of players with its variety

3 teleportation setups that can be changed at all times
-f1 to
-f2 from
-f3 location(3rd setup is just a bonus for some extra options) also 3rd option could be done by
holding shift then the teleportation is switched to 3rd setup and when you stop holding shift
it returns to previous setup

3 teleportation powers and their mode uses
-teleport setup:
-1 teleport behind targeted friend/foe or to inanimate object if no target
then teleport to the direction you are looking at

-2 teleport from targeted friend/foe or from inanimate object if no target
then teleport behind from the direction you are looking at stop if hit wall

-3 by holding teleportation setup 3 you can set up the location where to
teleport to. teleport by clicking same spell again or if you are too far
from the set location teleport as close as possible or click setup 3 once
to teleport to target or in if no target location you are looking at

-teleport target setup:
-1 teleport targeted friend/foe or inanimate object to you (need target to use)

-2 teleport targeted friend/foe to the dirrection you are looking at
(need target to use)

-3 by holding teleportation setup 3 you can set up the location where to
teleport to.teleport target by clicking same spell again if target is too far
from the set location teleport target as close as possible or click setup 3 once
to teleport target to the dirrection you looking at (need target to use)

-team teleport setup: (if group teleportation in air is a problem then for team
teleport can only teleport on ground)
-1 teleport team members and yourself (in range of X, up to X members) to targeted
friend/foe or to inanimate object if no target then teleport to the direction
you are looking at
-2 teleport team members and yourself(in range of X, up to X members) from targeted
friend/foe or from inanimate object if no target then teleport behind from the
direction you are looking at stop if hit wall
-3 by holding teleportation setup 3 you can set up the location where to
teleport to. teleport team members and yourself(in range of X, up to X members)
by clicking same spell again or if you are too far from the set location teleport
as close as possible or click setup 3 once to teleport to target or if if no
target location you are looking at

3rd setup for teleportation can also work that you get to click the area where to teleport to
by using the same spell again where your mouse is or camera facing so you can teleport someone
to any place you feel like

for teleport animation turning into a shadow then disapearing or going trough portal in the floor or
the wall and then appearing same way you disapeared at the location (colors can be customized and
maybe shapes?)

for the target teleportation show maybe your shadow taking friendly target and transfering him/her, for
foe getting shackled by shadows and pulled into the ground or wall and transfering them and for
inanimate objects maybe make a shadow that overtakes it and when the object is coming out it falls from
small height that if its large object and falls on foe it does some crushing dmg doesnt destroy or dmg
objects for a mission or things like that

for the team teleport maybe a big shadow that covers everyone and when teleported they are all spit out
by the shadow also they are teleported close to each other

bonus teleportation if made to allow teleportation across one side of the map to the other make group
teleportation that channels for 10 sec and everyone in the group close enough can click yes or no if they
want to teleport.

also did anyone check tracers teleportation/time manipulation from blizzard game overwatch?
nice way to make both work

First, I'd like to direct your attention to the Search field at the very bottom of most of the pages on this forum. Not sure how much it will help, it's getting rather big...

I'm not sure how basic teleport will work in CoT, but from what I've heard it will likely be very similar to the City of Heroes version (click button to activate, click target spot, and BAMF! you're there, or so I'm told). And since CoH had other powers for teleporting your friends to you, etc., I'd expect them to be available as well. And teleporting to your enemy and immediately melee attacking would likely be a variation on a lunge power that many games have.

Due to the aesthetic

Due to the aesthetic decoupling number 1 and 2 would never be implemented as pure teleportation powers (and especially not from the teleportation travel pool) but rather as generic gap closers/gainers where you change position where one aesthetic option would be teleportation. Other aesthetic option would front flip/back flip, bumrush/jump back and a few more that I can't think of right now.
These would most likely go into a tertiary power pool together with gap closers/gainers where you forcefully move your target, perhaps called "Combat Movement".

As for the third one (the actual travel power) they have stated that it will function effectively the same as the one in CoH, in that you target it anywhere with LoS and max range and that you'll end at that exact location with a few second of hover for your next "jump". Not sure if we'll get a version of Long Range Teleport where you can port to a specific section regardless of where you currently are.
