Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

If my life was a video game, I'd be so screwed. A 46 year old character doesn't make for the best action sequences. I would be an 8 bit side scrolling game at best. Trust me when I say drawing comics is not a spectator event.

not a spectator event?

not a spectator event? challenge accepted! lol, gimmie 24 hours.

p.s. you have beautiful pencils and inks. like in few people i have ever seen across art history. why waste your time on coloring? it is a pain, other people can be hired to do it, and if self publishing, black and white comics with a color cover cost a tiny bit less than half (about 50 scents a b/w comic with color cover, via offset press- with a few thousand copies) otherwise. have you seen kablam?

http://ka-blam.com/main/?page_id=3854 this place allows uploads of art, then prints comic books one at a time. they sell them here:

http://www.indyplanet.com/front/

it is not the best setup compared to offset printing, but for tiny runs it is the best. for example, 400 issues via offset would cost the same as 1500 issues. because of minimum setup.

Thank you, we are shooting to

Thank you, we are shooting to start on the official comic in a 4 issue mini-series. We are still working on the production models, but we are shooting for a physical book that will be available from your favorite comic books store as well as having an e-comic that you can access on the reader of your choice.

As to coloring...well it's not so simple. A comic team has to have a certain creative chemistry for the work to shine, and I have a guy in mind that I think will do a great job. But that will come when we roll out the monthly comic hopefully late next year, nothing is set in stone yet. I'm still rusty and I have to polish up my skills to get back to a monthly production speed, but we'll get there.

i have vastly researched the

i have vastly researched the retail aspect of comic books, and i can tell you that

1. less than 200 of the 2100 comicbook stores in america buy anything other than dc or marvel. edit (let me help here, the biggest single seller of comicbooks does sell indies. it is midtown comics in nyc. so if you must sell in stores, sell to that one first, and net some numbers)
2. comic book stores like books that come out every month. for lots of reasons.
3. indy books can sell quite a bit, at a major convention. do not bother with anything less. at all. even then you need more than just the book itself to move a few thousand copies, thankfully your book is tied to this game, and does.
4. dynamite studios might be willing to play with that book. i dont think dark horse would. anyone would if it were attached to the subscription program, or at least a option to add it there. www.dynamite.com
5. for color books, all the money goes to profit for the comicbookstore, shipping, and printing. you need a new model for sales for a test comic. perhaps even like in my first post, a webcomic. the ones listed there in the top spots get hundreds of thousands of views. but again, there is not alot of money in that. esp. when 2-3 million views get pulled by pirate sites. the first post is a link to a site that translated the orginal from south korean. they even cleaned up the images.
6. please consider b/w comics with a color cover. instead of 2-7 cents of profit a book, you net 50 cents more on top of that.
7. let me know if this thing in some forms wants to go to nycc2015. i might be able to help in various ways.

coloring can be sent off to various companies that wont even credit a name, just a company. unless you give them costume sheets, they often get costume colors wrong though. this only seemed to be a thing for the last 3 years or so though.

and can you believe my old 11x17" scanner wont work without ink packets? stupid scanner printer. it can print posters, but not scan if low on ink. #@$#@$%$%!!!!!!!!!

http://markwaid.com/digital/print-math/

edit: e books also net poop. even if color makes no difference. they still take percentages. it might be worth looking at adding the pages to the offical website, and adding ads on either side of each page. it might make more that way, sadly.

Interesting information, but

Interesting information, but I can assure you that more than 10% of the comic buyers support Indie Publishers. For instance IDW has a very large and supportive following. Not as big as Marvel or DC, but still a nice portion of the retail pie. I have nothing against Dynamite, but I have someone else in mind, but I can't talk about it yet. Yes, publishers and retail stores like monthly books, but they also like limited issue series, and graphic novels. A good book is always wanted, as is something new or different. That is not to say this it will be as big as a Marvel or DC comic, but I'm okay with that. All comics are sold to stores at half their cover price, that goes for Color or B&W, the printing is the number one cost, then the distributors cut. An artist usually only gets about 10 to 15 cents from each comic purchase. Also Conventions are not very cost effective, they cost thousands of dollars and more if you have a decent booth. If you make a small profit you are way ahead of the curve. Most small press is lucky to break even at a San Diego Comic Con. A smaller convention may net you a little more money but in truth you are there for visibility and for the fans. So we'll have a quality book out and do our best to make sure it is available to the audience for a reasonable price from your local comic shop, or one of many online retailers.

I had that issue too for a while, masterghostartist. Low ink made my scanner not want to do ANYthing anymore. Then I discovered a cancel button on the machine itself and suddenly it ignored the ink issue and started scanning . Thanks DD. I'm the same for a lot of things like that I guess, more of the "marathon a whole
season" than the "tune in next week for another solitary installment."
Wait, did you just pull a Sheldon-ism on me? Lol!

But yeah to marathon a season does give it the more "getting into it" feeling. I believe they call it "Benching"?

Binging. As in a whole lot of something all at once (usually food) unrestrained indulgence.
Benching has to do with lifting weights in the gym or when a coach pulls
a player off the field and makes them sit out the game/season.

Binging it is then. But

Binging it is then. But Benching sounded quite logical to me. As one (usually) sits on a bench (couch) to watch things on the telly. And to watch a complete season at once, you'll be on that bench for a LONG time... so... benching .

Didn't know about the lifting weights, did know about the pulling a player off the field and putting him on a... - that's right - bench.

Binging looks odd to me though, the word that is. My Dutch instinct says it's pronounced Bing-ing (you know like a sertain searchmachine I don't like? and putting ing behind that?).

it's actually pronounced bin

it's actually pronounced bin-ging. with the advent of various series being put on dvd/blueray, Netflix and other various online sources it was adopted over from when people go on eating or drinking binges. a person sits down and 'consumes' mass quantities of a single show in one sitting.

Oh, yes, I know how it's pronouched, was just saying that my Dutch instincts think different .
And I noticed about the adopting of the word by streamingcompanies. I actually never heard of the word binging before, untill a few weeks ago several people started to ask me if had binged anything lately.
