Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Super Speed

Why has no superhero MMO ever had a superspeed powerset? Flash and Quicksilver are major heroes in their universes, and the speedster is an iconic hero archetype. And yet, COH, CO, and DCUO all treat superspeed as a travel power only.

Is this an issue of animation or an issue of imagination?

Both COH and CO had a super reflexes defense set, but neither did anything fun with the offensive abilities of the speedster. Sure, I could use Martial Arts or Kinetic Melee, but neither of those captured the whirlwind of punches that is Flash. I would love City of Titans to present a melee speedster powerset, structured around blindingly-fast strikes, multiple hits, and fun animations.

What are your thoughts on how we could do justice to the speedster character?

The Altruist, Invulnerability/Super Strength Stalwart.

Amen!!!!

Amen!!!!
I'd wondered about about that myself quite a few times. Both COH and DCUO tried a bit with adding a couple of dmg/offensive powers on their superspeed sets but still more fluff than substance. I totally agree that SS sould be a full fledged powerset on it's own.

I couldn't agree more. Being extremely fast is a potent ability and should cost.. but there are so many different types of super speed and ways to translate how that speed is used.

Right, sorry forgot about the different powers set up CoT will have. And don't get me wrong i also know having SS as an entirely separate powerset would be difficult to implement for various reasons . What i would like to see though is SS being, in some way, a bit more practical and useful than it was in CoH or DCUO. But being considered as a theme is an indication of going the right way with this imo:)
