Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Suggestion for handling popup requests

Suggestion for handling popup requests

My suggestion is to have popups come up in a thumbnail menu on the right or left side of the screen, maybe causing your compass to light up indicating you have a popup to review. Then you have to actually click on the thumbnail to see what the popup is, rather than it interfering with whatever action you're in the middle of.

This would work similar to how Tutorial notices stacked up on the side and you could click on one to view it, except none of them would automatically open, you'd have to click on one to interact with it.

This could also be a setting you could choose, like auto-accepting teleports vs getting a request box to accept one.

So if you don't mind popups, you could have the setting be "first popup received automatically opens" while any other stacks, or if you hate when popups interrupt combat, you could have the setting "all popups must be clicked to open."

Also, in conjunction with this, I'l like to see a minimum of one minute to respond to any popup request.

I like this idea, and I

I like this idea, and I believe SWTOR's system is somewhat similar to this. There's a tab in the upper right hand corner of the screen that tells you how many pending popups you have, and you can click it to show or hide them.

Star Trek Online has

Star Trek Online has something like this. It works quite well, even pulling a popup off the screen and sticking it on the right edge if you enter combat.

The left-side avatar is from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Haruhi drags the motley crew out for some community baseball, and hilarity ensues. The avatar is Nagato Yuki, the "quiet girl" with a mind like a computer, practicing fielding. She seems utterly uninterested in catching the ball, unless it would hit her, in which case she just stops it and lets it fall on the ground. I found this GIF on the Internet long ago; don't remember where.

The one in the signature is Pfc. Teana Lanster from the first episode of the series Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS [sic]. She's in the middle of an offensive mage test, and the "gun" is custom-made. The magic in that universe is more or less Arthur C. Clarke's "sufficiently advanced technology" and the series is set in the military. This GIF is something I put together with a Bash script running ImageMagick on a few folders full of screenshots (from mplayer -vo png). That was a fun afternoon project. I meant to do more, but didn't get around to it.

I also made this one, from the Girls & Panzer OVA:

It's kind of big (7 MB). Some day I'll fix them so they don't run too fast (they're playing around 33 fps instead of 30 fps; GIF format defines time between frames in 10 ms steps).

I'd also like the option to outright dismiss them without having to see them pop up. After a long combat and some drops, you could have a ton of them to sit through.

I can understand that, although if you have a "dismiss or open" option, you should have the ability to see what type of message it is by mousing over it before you choose.

Over here at work, I assign notifications internal "type" flags, and when there are more than two pending notifications of a given type, all of that type (including later ones) get collected into a "summary" notification. Same thing happens at the top level: if there are more than a couple types pending, I'll just suck them into a big summary. Because most often people want to either skim the summary or delete it all outright.

Yea I would like popup icons

Yea I would like popup icons some place on the side. I always hate to be right in the middle of something and I get a pop up right in the middle of my screen causing me carelessly click on it and or get killed in the process.
