Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :

At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Special Temp Powers as rewards for community leadership

One of the cool things CoX devs used to do, when they came to a public place (like Pocket D or during a zone event) was to give people special Titles. I never got one, and I was so jealous. But I thought it might have been better, in the end, if those kind of awards were given to people who were doing awesome stuff to foster love of the game in others, instead of just showing up and paying tribute to a Dev.

I was thinking, if the CoT devs plan to be more hands-on in the game, there could be special temp powers given to players who they witness doing cool community stuff, like hosting costume contests, helping TP new players around, or just in general being a good CoT 'citizen'.

Devs could award these powers on folks who manage to impress them and that makes using them in missions awesome bragging rights. Win-win as it helps to create a culture of looking out for others.

Chest-Glyph Binding
This turns anything used as a chest pattern into a thrown weapon that has a 50% chance of wrapping around and incapacitating a white-conned enemy for 30 seconds (no PvP effect). (Stolen from that weird moment in Superman II where Superman develops powers that doesn't really make sense for Superman to have, like illusory doubles.) 3 uses.

Fruit Pie Scatter
I asked the CoX devs for this for years as an April Fool's Joke, but they never took me seriously. Do you remember the Hostess Fruit Pie ads that used to run in comic books in the 1970's and 1980's? (Well, they did.) This power effects an area, sort of like the way Caltrops did, and lasts one minute. An villain will be 'aggro'ed' by the scatter into kneeling down and eating pies like total morons (50% chance against a white-conned opponent, no PvP effect). 5 uses.

Faerie Dust
Give Tink a shake and we're off! This temp power gives someone other than the player three minutes of Flight. 10 uses.

Shadow
Creates a wisp of a shadow, roughly in the shape/size of the user, that acts as defense until the player zones or it loses health (can't be healed). It soaks up Damage, and causes Fear attacks on enemies. 1 use.

I always thought Superman had the Fortress of Solitude Traps already rigged before Zod and his cronies got there. So, the Loki Doubles wasnt really part of His Powers, but part of the holograms that the Fortress had, but was never really explained.

As far as the Bubble Wrap on his chest.... that was also sinthesized beforehand, but he must have felt he needed to hide it somehow so that Zod wouldnt Recognize it, since the Bubble Wrap, if used in its original Military* Kryptonian form would give it away too easily and wouldnt be effective. Plus, Supes has no Bats Utility Belt! :<

Side Note: Supermans father was a science genius btw... and Supes Could have inherited some of his fathers genes. But no one really goes there too much (some do, but just a little)... maybe because allot of writers fear that if Supes can Beat Lex Luthor with his Brains Too.. there wont be much of an audience left. ;D

I was always torn about the

I was always torn about the Finger Beam Telekinesis.

On the one hand telekinesis explains his flight ability as well as anything else, but on the other hand, I have never seen a reference to it anywhere in the comics (though I don't consider myself very well read in Superman comics) and the creators of the film never tried to tie his flight to the ability.

Hmm.. thats a difficult one.
If we were to ignore the Coloring of it.. and just pretend that its See Through.. we can assume that Forward Force was actually at play here. Forward Force generated by Very Rapid Movement of the Hand back and Forth.. that excites the molecules in front of the hand... which rick-ashes into other Air Molecules that are right in front. Err... like hitting a ball.. and that ball hits Other ball(s) in front of it... a little like Pool. So Air Molecules are used as a weapon. And we know this is feasible sine we've heard of such a thing as a Sonic Boom.

But that only explains the Pining of someone into a Wall, not so much how they are lifted Straight Up. Well, unless he Aims it at the Ground, and it bounces back upward. :/

if we go a step further... and we kinda see that a Sonic Boom is only possible because Air Molecules CAN Be moved around... just like how Fish can use their bodies and their Propellers to gain massive speeds to part Water Molecules. Superman is So fast at Vibrating his body that air molecules part out of his way to achieve Flight. Supes just needs to flap his feet like you would when you Swim in water... he can swim through the Air. ;)
But... that doesnt explain how he can fly fast in outer space. Oh wait.. He cant fly that fast in outer space. Hes allot slower. ;)

Even The Flash could fly if he had enough of a Runway, since he cant just leap up (super jump) with tremendous force like Supes can. And if The Flash didnt use up soooo much energy to try and stay up in the air, he could probably do it too. ;D
