A good old science fiction type ray gun like Flash Gordon, Buck Rodgers or Adam Strange would use. Functional so that it could be used in place of a gun or hand blaster (bare hands). Of course, a set of clothing from the period - like they wore back in Captain Video, Fireball XL5, and 1950s/40s serials.. I asked for that for years in CoH, it was finally done late in the game (with a real fish bowl type of helmet too).

I'm also a fan of classic sci-fi style.. I'm pretty sure if we don't have a raygun (in pistol, carbine and/or rifle styles) at launch, it will come soon after. at the very least with the direction they are going with powers it should be easy enough to drop it in.

I tried making a concept toon like this in CoH, everything including skin and hair were done in shades of gray. I can't remember what name I chose though.

LOL the first thought I had when I saw the fish bowl type helmet was, now, if only I could put in the head with the exposed brain (remember that choice?) I could look just like the Martians in Mars Attacks!
