Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Sharing outfit options

I don't remember if you could back in CoH. But in CO you can go to the tailor and save your costume to your computer. Then you could post it up and people could download the picture and load it up in the tailor. Thing is though that it loads up everything. One problem we ran into when getting people to download the uniform is everyone would have to adjust the body sliders and such so in the end no one would grab the uniform and just make one up. Would be neat if we could share the costume with people but it would ask you if you wanted to also use the body sliders or just the costume pieces themselves.

They finally did get around

They finally did get around to adding a Save/Load costume feature to CoH in Issue 13 (December 2008). It worked pretty much like how it works in CO which makes sense because that feature (like purchasable costume slots) was more or less "borrowed" from CO. I'd have to assume something like that will exist in CoT as well.

Your specific suggestion (allowing costume items to be applied without upsetting body sliders) would be great, but I wouldn't mind if something like that came along further down the line after game launch.

Depending on how they intend

Depending on how they intend the 'Fashionista' pledge level ("Design a custom costume texture to your specifications... You have the option of granting access to this to others...") to work I can very well see this being available at launch.

If I had to guess sharing the 'Fashionista' Perk is not going to be like sharing a .costume file from the Save/Load costume feature. Presumably everyone will be allowed to Save/Load .costume files and trade them with other players as desired just like you could with CoH. But those other players will still have to have legal access to the parts specified in those .costume files for them to successfully load onto their characters.

I suspect 'Fashionista' will grant the players who have it exclusive access to an otherwise hidden costume set that'll be baked into game at launch. When they "share" the perk with other players it'll unlock those hidden sets just as if they had bought the perk themselves. Finally after the year of exclusivity is over these hidden costume sets will likely become unhidden and available for everyone to buy in the in-game store.

Thus if a player wants to give another player a working 'Fashionista' based .costume file they could always grant that player access to their 'Fashionista' Perk first; the .costume file by itself simply won't be enough to do it.

What would be a nice

What would be a nice improvement to the sharing of costumes would be if the settings file could be sent via the in-game mail to other players. that way you don't have to bother with posting it up online or emailing it to you SG mates. It gives a bit more anonymity to the players as well, all you would need is their global and you would already have that (probably).

Yes that would be nice, but it would depend on how robust the email system of this new game will be. If you recall the Devs of CoH were continually limiting/reducing the capability of the in-game email system presumably because it was getting harder to control the griefing and overhead of the data being stored on their servers.

As a compromise maybe the Devs of CoT will organize the costume creation system with more standardized labels so that if you wanted to convey the details of a costume you could say use top123, bottoms456, gloves356, boots742, etc. Along with this maybe they'll provide the actual "numbers" related to slider settings so that we no longer have to guess if we've set the same slider to the same value on multiple costumes.

Shame ya couldn't just

Shame ya couldn't just generate a code and give that code to people and it would load that outfit up with the option of wanting just the outfit or the body changes as well.

Ha, or do what Second Life

Ha, or do what Second Life already does, allow players to design costumes for each other, either as part of a "guild look", or sell costumes to people whose fashion sense is... questionable.

Given what little I know about Second Life even if the CoT costume system would allow people to create in-game costume items for themselves or other players I highly doubt they'd let that happen for fear of losing their "T for Teen" rating. ;)

Don't get me wrong - I'd absolutely love to see that here. I just realistically know there's about one chance in a million it would ever happen.

Now that'd be cool!

In the original Guild Wars you could generate a code for your current build and either share it with someone, or save it so you can switch back to it later.

That would be a great option for sharing a costume look. Especially if incorporated with the earlier suggestion for applying a costume to only apply the outfit, or the entire look (including sliders, facial appearance, etc, etc).

Given the talk of an android

Given the talk of an android or ios ports of the avatar builder (kickstarter stretch goals 350,000 and 400,000), I'd say that saving a 'settings file' for a particular character look is almost definitely going to be in the game at launch.

I think this all depends on

I think this all depends on the costume's database structure. IF the database is well structured (in an expandable way) then sharing costumes becomes a VERY easy task. Herculean task if you need to do it after the fact. But a quite simple one if you do it right the first time.

I think it would be great, to

I think it would be great, to be able to set up a Supergroup Uniform, as opposed to just a set of colors..... so when you join the SG, you get a costume slot with your character in the appropriate costume pieces for the team.
Guild uniforms could be restricted to free costume items, and the guild could "lock/unlock" portions of the uniform so members could modify the uniform to greater or lesser degrees.

And possibly the SG could unlock (as opposed to the "unfreeze" in your suggestion) additional SG only costume bits for use.

actually it would be a neat

actually it would be a neat perk for SG-hood.... access to costume parts that you otherwise wouldn't be able to have (access to the Club Closet, so to speak)

Likewise, it would be cool if there were "guild-only" costume parts (that only drop/are available for super group affiliated(and dressed, if that'll still be a thing) characters)
