Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

SEGS is making some amazing progress

For anyone that hasn't been keeping an eye on them, they have really stepped up their game lately. It seems like not only are they accomplishing more impressive things with each update, but the update are coming more quickly with each one as well. They've got FX, AI, spawning, zoning, basic ability triggers and inspirations....it seems like they'll be at 1.0 before too long!

I'm excited. Still, I'm not sure playing an issue zero CoX will be engaging that much longer than paragon chat would compared to a more modern recreation, at least for me. Not having many QoL additions later versions added would be tough, and playing some of the later content like the mastermind class is a big draw. On the plus side, since they are making everything from scratch, they are not limited to the content and features the old game had. They could potentially add as many features as the game had at close and keep going to add much more.

Well - IIRC they're working

Well - IIRC they're working on the AI, but yes they've made some impressive progress recently. Personally I think I'd want to wait until they have more zones/powers/features added from the later issues before diving in. Vanilla 1.0 CoH was fun, but the game definitely got better over the years.

Merely saying "the game definitely got better over the years" is almost an understatement. There was a huge amount of difference between what CoH was at its launch versus what it was after Issue 23.

I certainly wouldn't have any problem messing around with a newly recreated "launch day" version of CoH again but something like that would be missing a huge amount of valuable content that would be sorely missed.

CoH player from April 25, 2004 to November 30, 2012
