Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

Secondary Powersets?

There is a discussion of what five types of primary powersets we would like to see at launch here (http://cityoftitans.com/forum/five-primary-powersets#new) but what about secondaries? I doubt the bad guys are going to surrender simply because of our awesome defense powers. Zombie Man's chart tells us that that the the Bulwark Stalwart should be available at launch. They have a melee secondary powerset. My hopes are that we will have at least five of those as well.

Here are my guesses for what they will be. As pointed out in the primaries thread, the special effects of the powersets may be variable so guessing what they do instead of how they look may be a better way to discuss them.

1. Super Strength (a direct damage set including punches, kicks, hand claps, and ground stomps, perhaps with generic or stone based sfx)
2. "burning" melee (a damage over time based set that may have fire, acid, radiation, or even poison sfx)
3. "debuffing" melee (a set that includes slows, snares, and mitigation debuffs that may have ice, darkness, or electrical sfx)
4. "weapon" melee (bring on the swords, hammers, axes, and hopefully shields!)
5. "quick" melee (a set made up of fast attacks and combos that may have martial arts, claws, or dual weapon sfx).

A good solid list, just a couple of notes.

3) I can see several sets coming out with a debuff mechanic of some kind built in. I think its a good bet we will get at least one.

4) would most likely not be a powerset, but rather an animation applied to a set. To give some examples using your other ideas: a hammer that slams foes around, A flaming sword that burns foes, an Axe that rends armor, a fast and agile blade.

I think it would be interesting to have 'Control' as a secondary powerset for Stalwart 'Defense'.

I would be a good idea to

I would be a good idea to have a whip. So for those players who want to make an indiana jones based hero can don that. And they could also make a seductive villian with the whip or maybe even a lion tamer.

There is one more idea to where one sword can be a sword that can chnage in length and can og in to a whipping motion. Those who know Excaliber for the gamecube may know what i'm talking about.

I remember that we had whips

I remember that we had whips with the demon mastermind and of course it will be cool to have it as a set, but it's very special and I think it's not that easy to animate, so I would do this later sometimes and not at the start.

Technically, a powerset is a powerset, neither "primary" nor "secondary" in design, only in the way the Archetypes utilize it and the base numbers depending on if it is a primary or secondary. Saves headache from needing to have "powerset proliferation" later on that way.

As for what the Melee powesets will be, that's still very much up in the air.

Well i already kind of posted

Well i already kind of posted my opinion on the primary ones so here goes the secondary
1 Super Strength- Well we all know this is a must in superhero games so yea...
2 DoT attacks (fire/rad)- Slightly higher damage than most other secondaries but takes a little while to deal the full amount
3 Weapon (staff/axe/sword(s)/club)- Another one that is just kind of a must like super strength, role playing and all that jazz
4 "Quick" attacks- stuff like martial arts and kinetic melee, short animations with maybe not as much damage as some other power sets, some weapons can be classified under this as well
5 Debuff centered- So that would be something like ice or dark, something to decrease one of the three primary attacking stats (damage, rech, acc) and/or one of the two primary defensive stats (defense, resist)
