Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Hair color: Black/None
Eye color: Green/Green
Skin: Tan/Grey

Personality:
Positive Traits: Pragmatic, loyal, tenacious, intelligent, confident
Negative Traits: Sarcastic, arrogant, insensitive, purposely pushes people away, egocentric

Sample speech (3-5 sentences):
“Yeah, my father never really ascribed to Cartesian theory when it came to what made a man himself…joke’s on him—I’m a walking mind-body problem!”
“D*** it, I was God’s gift to nerd-women everywhere before this! Now what am I going to do?!”
“Yeah, once you make a bed, you’ve got to lie in it. Even when that bed really, really sucks.”
“Oh man, that seriously sucks…wanna get a churro? Would that make you feel better? I mean, I can’t eat it with you, but if I could, that’s totally what I would want right now. Sooo…how about it?”

History/Bio:
Robert was born to parents Elya LaFleur and Alan Nikkolsson in Montreal, Canada. Shortly after marriage, the family moved to California to aid the father in securing a lucrative position as a software engineer in Silicon Valley. His mother meanwhile set up as the business head of a fashion-design company. Robert spent the remainder of his normal life in California, more or less raising himself in a family where everyone was a master at his or her chosen trade and he was just the resident teenage f***-up (although in this family that meant getting an ‘A’ in advanced-level physics, instead of the expected ‘A+’). He spent most of his time out surfing with friends, picking up chicks, gaming at home, and working on side-projects related to his prospective field of study: robotics. His father, the harsher of the two parents, made it clear early on that it was expected that Robert would make it into an Ivy-League University, or he would be worthless. This complex motivated Robert to secretly begin work a year early on his ambitious senior-level culminating project: an answer to the surrogate soldier problem. He hoped to use this project to obtain government funding and a scholarship to a prestigious university, which would (hopefully) finally shut his dad up about the whole 'where-are-you-going-to-go-or-are-you-just-going-to-sit-around-being-a-bum-for-the-rest-of-your-life' question. He did not share this project partly for fear of his father not respecting it, and partly so that he could surprise him with the finished design. Working long nights by himself led to several critical safety shortcuts which probably would have saved him from the unfortunate accident to come.
After a particularly vitriolic argument in which his father struck him (not for the first time) over his skipping class to meet a personal deadline on his project (also not the first time), Robert, instead of waiting for volunteer trials or testing, hooked himself up to the surrogate for the trial run that night. Everything seemed to connect fine at first, as Robert found himself in control of the drone, but soon the situation began to decline. A major power surge hit the system, frying the connecting lines and the computers controlling the connection, thanks to rushed production and bypassed safety procedures. Robert’s organic body suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke due to multiple brain aneurysms and expired almost instantaneously. Robert’s consciousness, however, remained tied to the surrogate’s systems, thereby granting him a continued existence, albeit not in the form he would have preferred. Post-accident, Robert was legally declared dead and a funeral was held for the boy. The drone, meanwhile, was taken in for quarantine and examination by the federal government.
Once it was determined for certain (or, at least, as certain as anyone could be about what happened), Robert was allowed to contact his parents once more (this was, however, only after his parents placed considerable pressure on the division responsible for his welfare). Relations continued to be strained between them, him, and the agency. With the aid of government entities who wish to use his research to further their own goals, he has begun the long and possibly fruitless task of attempting to regain a normal physical form. While he does not relish the thought of ‘fighting crime’ as some sort of masked vigilante, he has been known to act as an advisor or attaché to various government and private organizations at the behest of his research benefactors. In his personal time, he has been known to complete personal jobs or assist the citizenry as the mood strikes him. Pressure from grant-holders and those with influence over his research has led him to hand over blueprints to a battle chassis much improved over his original prototype, but still not capable of supporting the organic-synthetic connection for which he and his team have been searching. His personal chassis has also seen many combat modifications over the years out of obligation to his benefactors and necessity due to his…unique position as a leader in drone research.

Description of powers:
*Enhanced physical durability: Protoype shell is steel plating--inherent weaknesses present from creation/assembly error (prototype created at the age of 16-17); said weaknesses are compensated for in later upgrade sessions (composite materials)
*Enhanced speed, strength, and endurance: Basic enhancements to above-average human endurance, speed, and strength granted from the superior body design. Body was originally designed to surpass top human ability. Original prototype accomplishes this goal to a degree, with later upgrades providing further increases to physical statistics
*Enhanced processing speed and reflexes: Processing power originally designed to handle the load of transferring and accommodating the consciousness of the controller within the surrogate was repurposed post-transference to enhance analyzation and reflex time and overall cognitive abilities. Said abilities far surpass original form’s related skills. Soon after transference, consciousness was unable to access this processing power. Age and growing skill allowed resources to be utilized to their fullest potential. Future upgrades may be recommended, if the procedure does not prove to have too low a predicted survival-rate. Subject has seen some success in repurposing battle protocols to function in civilian capacities missing from original model.
*Enhanced visual capabilites: Subject was researching true x-ray capabilities prior to transference. Research has continued with promising levels of success post-transference. Subject does not exhibit signs of mental degradation due to differences in biological and mechanical sight mechanics post-transference. Subject has expressed preference for augmented vision. Preference has been noted for comparison with later subjects' reactions to surrogate project.

Other Skills/perks/talents:
*Genius-level intellect: Ability present prior to consciousness transference. Does not meet criteria for hyper-genius classification.
*Robotics and electronics: Natural talent for creating/manipulating machines and technology. Possible genetic predisposition—more research needed into father’s abilities required.

Disadvantages/Weaknesses:
*Lack of fine motor skills: As this model was designed with combat capability in mind, twitch motion reflexes, hydraulically-augmented strength, and gross motor skills focused on grabbing and gripping were the build focus, at the compromise of greatly reduced fine motor skills. This has made further personal robotics work difficult for the subject. Has seen some success in repurposing targeting protocols to replace missing human-level fine manipulation techniques.
*Physically incapable of sleeping: Possible long-term degradation of mental faculties present—provide with regular psych-evals to record signs of symptoms.
*Lack of tactile sensation: Also contributing factor to possible mental degradation—see former entry for treatment/observances; lack of pressure sensitivity increases risk of damage to surrounding property and individuals. Consciousness is pursuing possible solutions to this issue. Recommended that resources be allocated to this pursuit.
*Inability to remove consciousness from robotic shell
*EMP Weaponry or other attacks designed to impair or destroy complicated machines or technologies

Public Knowledge of Character: Relatively little at this time—the human form of Robert is legally deceased, and government blackout protocols keep the existence of the sentient surrogate relatively quiet, though with increasing contact with the outside world, this is not expected to hold for long.
