I would LOVE to see concept art and background information all about our Martian invaders. (I would LOVE tripods, but there may be copyright issues)
Concept art would be icing on the cake, but backstory on Martians, MWM philosophy on Invasions, signs to look for, how Unreal Engine will make invasions smoother than COH...all that stuff.
even a glossary of handy Martian phrases would be fun:
"Ack Ack!" Don't shoot! I surrender!
"Ack Ack!" Its a cookbook!
"Ack Ack!" Warcabbit tastes much better than I do!
Do Martians unleash giant robots and/or monsters to soften up the targets?
Are there Martian spies among us even now?
Are there human allies/groups aiding the Martians in exchange for leadership positions?
Can I finagle a date with a Miss Martian defector clone?
*** Inquiring minds want to know! ***
I'm a big invasion fan, so please let me have it...I'm really asking for it.

I, for one, welcome our new Martian Overlords!

I would love to have a martian giant monster that runs amok in some part of town on like a 2-hour timer. Maybe a daily reward of some kind for defeating it. There are many of these type of things in GW2, most of them respawn every 2 hours or so, but you only get the GOOD rewards from doing them once per day. The two hour cooldown is more for different time zones to be able to do the content in large groups than anything else.

Concerning copyright issues, there should not be any from the original H. G. Wells work. Currently in the US, copyright is life of the creator + 70 years so it should have elevated into public domain. (At least until Disney gets around to extending it again. Sorry but I have strong opinions here.)
I remember like decades ago there was a cartoon show that had a Peter Pan character in it, and they had to have this long disclaimer in the opening credits explaining how it was a show based on the original BOOK "Peter and Wendy" NOT any of the Disney movies or cartoons that followed. What a mess.

Fun fact there. The author willed the copyright to a children's hospital.
Yep, JM Barrie gave it to Great Ormond Street Hospital. One which I am grateful for, as my nephew has been treated by them.
