Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.

It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.

To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.

Real World Events for City of Titans

So back years ago, In the UK there was/were City of Heroes event's the one I remember was one in Brighton, mainly because thats where my mother's sister lives and my Father took me down to the event.

I was thinking these things would be once the game starts up to start again, maybe bring in combination with other Hero games like Valiance to reduce cost and increase the visitor base thus lower costs that are passed on to the consumer.

Having the ability to get your characters drawn etc, do any of you guys have memories of these events at all ?

Never heard of that before,

Never heard of that before, though I'll admit I wasn't that active in anything outside of the game itself.

There were a few events down

There were a few events down in Brighton... the ones that spring to mind:

November(ish) 2005: Brighton Comic Expo (NCsoft Europe were there showing off CoX, Auto Assault, Guild Wars IIRC)
October 2006: Brighton Player meet (NCsoft Organised, War Witch attended)
February 2007: *another* Player meet.
March 2008: Omega Sektor NCsoft player meet (This was in Birmingham, and was the event where the US players got really wound up over the "And that is why the developers spend more time on Heroes than Villains" comment from Rockjaw)
August 2009 (ish IIRC): Unofficial "if you can get there, you are invited / NCsoft West is gutting the Europe branch and firing everyone" farewell party.

Now, this list is not exhaustive, as there were also many other events that NCsoft Europe attended[1] (but were not the focus of), such as Memorabilia and other UK conventions.

Getting your characters drawn was organised between NCsoft Europe and Draw The World Together. Nice range of comic book artists over the years (in no particular order: Neil Edwards, David Nakayama, Andrew Wildman, Andie Tong, Jamie Sims, Mike Collins and others) helped out and raised a lot of money for charity.

[1] The community guys also had a motto of "if you let us know about a player meet, we will try to make it/send stuff there". And they did that, even after CoX was closed down.

Over the years I have attended 3 NCsoft organised meets and 4 player organised meets (and both involve herding cats to make sure that everything goes smoothly. Have also helped organise a few of those). Didn't make any of the conventions bar the Brighton 2005 Comic Expo

Quote:

1) I reject your reality.... and substitute my own
2) Not to be used when upset... will void warranty
3) Stoke me a clipper i will be back for dinner
4) I have seen more intelligence from an NPC AI in TR beta, than from most MMO players.

If it was Brighton for sure,

If it was Brighton for sure, then it was at the Comic Expo. All of the other Brighton events didn't have comic book artists (as they were reserved for the larger events)

Defiantly, Brighton as we were down there so the mother could see her sister who still lives down that way. 05 would have made me 9 years old which would make sense as that was my main period of play CoH on my fathers account, before i started playing WoW constantly.

I was at that event (and the Staff party afterwards). I have good memories of that event
