Have you considered reaching out to those celebrities who enjoyed city of heroes in advance of launch? I know the authors Mercedes lackey and jim butcher enjoyed playing.

Please read the current update for instructions on downloading the latest update. Players with Mac versions of the game will not be affected, but you will have a slightly longer wait for your version of the new maps. Please make a copy of your character folder before running the new update, just to make sure you don't lose any of your custom work.
It looks like we can give everyone a list of minimum specs for running City of Titans. Please keep in mind that this is 'for now' until we are able to add more graphics and other system refinements. Currently you will need :
Windows 10 or later required; no Intel integrated graphics like UHD, must have AMD or NVIDIA card or discrete chipset with 4Gb or more of VRAM
At least 16GB of main DRAM.
These stats may change as we continue to test.
To purchase your copy of the City of Titans Launcher, visit our store at https://store.missingworldsmedia.com/ A purchase of $50 or more will give you a link to download the Launcher for Windows or Mac based machines.
We're not really to that point yet. We would need at least a closed beta level of completeness, if not a near-open-beta level, before reaching out to those we'd like a good word from would be wise. The way such things work, you give them access to it and let them play with it, then talk to them about what they liked, what they thought was missing, and let them know your plans, if any, to close the gaps. But mostly, you let them try it out. Because their endorsements - official or otherwise - are based on their experience using the product. Not on your promises of what they'll get to see.

Hopefully MWM will eventually be able to foster some kind of relationship (formal or informal) to the people who work on The Big Bang Theory who were always cool about showing off posters/logos of CoH. It'd be great to start seeing "City of Titans" things show up on that show. Maybe MWM should just send a bunch of their CoT t-shirts to them so that maybe they'll wear them on-air.

Understood. It may be worthwhile to start keeping a list/database for when you do get to that point

Aye. Sorry, I incorrectly assumed a universally-known reference:

Nah, I caught the reference, and threw a Family Guy Stewie reference back atcha :P.
FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)
All right; in that case I'm the one who doesn't get the reference.
Spurn all ye kindle.
The Big Bang Theory and Family Guy are two of my wife's favorite shows, so I end up seeing a lot of episodes of both :).
FIGHT EVIL! (or go cause trouble so the Heroes have something to do.)
In the Family Guy show Stewie has this weird speech impediment thing where he kept saying "Whil" (heavily stressing a "h" that isn't there) instead of "Wil". Brian tried to point it out to him but he never caught on to what he was doing. The 'joke' ended up being that Stewie repeated "Whil" about fifty times while Brian was trying to correct/mock him.
Pretty sure the whole thing was just Seth MacFarlane poking fun at Wil Weaton's name. ;)
