I like the ideas actually. They work particularly well in a game like Champions that has a hardcore dedication to Slapstick comedy.
I'm intrigued to see the "tone" of the game. I personally hope the game echoes the tone of WildStar. People kind of give "cupcake" a bad rap but it was a very effective marketing tool.

I'm not technically against that kind of "slapstick/cupcake" tone in some situations. I'm just wondering if this wouldn't just give every "griefer" the perfect set of tools to run around and annoy everyone with these kinds of emotes.
I realize there will be idiots regardless and nothing's going to stop the people who just want to run around and jump up-n-down in peoples' faces. Still if you give everyone a bunch of "Mask-like" emotes (a character I might add which was basically the epitome of annoyance by design) I'm just concerned it would overly-encourage the negative use of these things.
Maybe as long as we get a huge number of various emote/animation options they could maybe slide a few of these ideas into the mix. But I wouldn't want to see these types of emotes be effectively the only options for expression the game offers.
