Basically, the CoT equivalent to the premise of Alan Moore's League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
There's a surprising amount of characters considered public domain, and thus free to fully use without risk of legal issues for recreating them from appearance to name. Would you like to create a superhero team consisting of public domain heroes? And if so, what should the backstory be? That all the characters got pulled from different dimensions and crossed over into the CoT universe, or that they were always there?
Ideas for the team:
Frankenstein's Monster
Dracula
Beowulf
Alice*
Conan the Barbarian
Zorro
Sherlock Holmes
John Carter
etc.
*I call dibs, because I already have a very interesting idea of how to integrate her into CoT.
Those are just the most famous ones. Take a look at the wiki, and if there's any that interest you feel free to use them.
What do you guys think of the idea of making a public domain superhero team, and fitting it specifically to the CoT verse? Thought it would be interesting.
Red Riding Hood!
Combine it with Robin Hood to make Little Red Robin Hood.
"Let the past die. Kill it if you have to."
What do you guys think the team should be called? I think Fables has a good ring to it.
I call dibs on Jack!
Foradain, Mage of Phoenix Rising.

Personally I prefer his lesser known cousin Randolph.
Now that I think about it, he'd be a good fit for Titan City... Dibs!

I kidnapped his lady, now his power's are zero.

Zorro is awesome. I’d totally do Zorro in CoT.
Agent Franks is kinda awesome. http://mhi.wikia.com/wiki/Special_Agent_Franks
I really like this idea. Not sure about the group name for a couple reasons. First, some of the public domain characters are historical so they don't fit the fable concept. Second, there was a comic series called Fables which had the classic fairy tale figures in a real life city setting.
Snow White is a Dwarf-summoning Mastermind?
Be Well!
Fireheart
The Inevitables. The Reboots. Or simply... Encore.
Their opposite numbers could be Public Dominion.

Awesome. She can also summon forest animals too.
